First time here and i guess i chose the wrong day. Very slow flow in service, the Dude was giving me negative facial expression while he built my pizza, and no carbonation from the fountain drink. Two stars, why is that? Well to start the restaurant was overall clean for how busy it was and they got our pizzas right. Now on to the meat of the situation. Every employee that we came in contact with (approx. 4) were all rude. They all seemed bothered at the fact that we asked for a little more of this or that. I get it, it was busy, but honestly, the employee is the face of the company and if this is how the company wants their customers to feel that they feel about them, then they're going to lose customers quickly. The sad thing is, they're inside of the mall so it won't matter because they probably don't have recurring customers so who cares how they're treated? Well I do, because I live close enough to this mall to go often and enjoy the Blaze in Claremont way more than this one. Thanks for the free pizza Blaze... lucky me. Came in towards the end of a rush today around 5:00. My boyfriend ordered a Take Two , which includes half of a pizza and a side salad or 4 dough knots, and I ordered a 2 topping pizza. 4 stars for the food. We've been to this Blaze and others and the taste is always consistent. I always opt for the high rise on my pizza ( they use double the usual amount of dough), a mix of garlic pesto and white cream sauce, mozzarella and goat cheese, and topped off with mushrooms and sea salt. Our half pizza was red sauce, mozzarella, garlic pesto, olives and spinach. The dough knots look like cinnamon buns, but instead of the brown sugar/ cinnamon mixture in the middle it is filled with garlic pesto and cheese. 2 stars however for the service tonight. When we were placing our order, one of the girls helping us seemed to have an attitude towards us when we'd ask for something which was a bit off putting. We got our pizzas within 10 minutes of paying, but not the dough knots (which do take a bit longer to bake). My boyfriend returned to the pick up station asking about the knots, there was one set ready but they said it was for someone else, so he came back. 5 minutes later I then went to ask about the knots, the guy told me he had some coming right out so I decided to wait. As he pulled 8 pieces of knots out of the oven another employee put all 8 pieces on a tray and called out a different name, handing it to someone else. The male employee looked as confused as I was, when he asked for my name two female employees realized that they hadn't put our order of garlic knots in. For compensation I received a free pizza card (thanks) from one female and the other aforementioned employee, with an attitude, boxed up the next group of garlic knots and just put it on top of the counter and walked away; no "sorry", no "here you go." I like coming here from time to time. This quick-serve pizza is great, fast, and at a good price! This location is at the Ontario Mills Outlet Mall and there's another at the Victoria Gardens Mall as well. They're just like Pieology, but Pieology doesn't have the spicy marinara sauce or possibly the other sauce choices either, such as the creamy garlic and pesto. You go down the "assembly line" and tell them what toppings you want and it's ready pretty quickly. The crust always thin. read more

This 5 star review is specifically and only for Sade! This was my first time trying a thin panned pizza (still dislike it, I want my crust!) and there's too many people standing around doing nothing behind the counter. There's a lady who took my name down on the paper, another who put cheese and sauce on the pizza then Sade did everything else. When my pie got to Sade she added more cheese on my sad looking pizza and gave me a good amount of other toppings. I got: Spicy marinara sauce, Mozzarella cheese, Bacon, Grilled chicken, Spinach, Green bell peppers and Oregano. We waited at the cashier, Lorena and some other employee were just chatting it up, didn't even greet us or say anything. I've been to a few Blaze pizza establishments and my favorite is the one at the Ontario Mills mall. Michelle made my pizza so good!!! I actually dropped a $100 bill on the counter, walked away and Danny the shift manager returned it to me!!! That right there blew me away, especially these days. So refreshing when most individuals are always looking out for numero uno. It was clean, friendly workers, Nate and Christian checked on us and took our plates away. Despite the poor quality food at the Blaze location in the Brea Mall (and swearing I would never eat Blaze again), I ended up here. I went in with low expectations, but definitely came out feeling good about it. The service was great, even though it was packed (some of the customers were pretty dumb though). And the pizza was actually pretty good. They weren't cheap about the cheese and toppings like at the Brea location. And it was made to perfection, the crust not being blacker than the night. While I am still a Pieology guy, I can say that this Blaze definitely didn't let me down. The location gets pretty busy, leading it to be pretty messy. And for my whole stay there, I saw no one cleaning tables or around the trash cans (not sure how it works though, so I cannot hate). But other than the messy location, it was an ideal meal break from shopping. read more

Since it was Black Friday, the place was crowded. The staff was friendly and cooperative. During the pizza making process, they were nice enough to explain everything to us when we asked regarding the toppings: meats, cheeses and vegetables. The waiting time was 10 to 15 minutes. This is a very busy location probably because it is located within the mall. I enjoyed the fact that they had vegan meat options like chorizo and vegan chicken. I tried the Vegan 1 topping pizza with the Vegan Chicken I wasn't very happy with the texture and the taste. It tasted like unflavored tofu and was deep fried. I liked though that they asked if it was enough cheese and chicken on the pizza. But sadly for the money we paid it wasn't a great Vegan options. Place is disgusting. The trash bins are overflowing with trash while employees were just chit chatting as no customers were in line. The floors were dirty with food pieces all over. The utensil containers were empty and dirty. My husband ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and the chicken was frozen! staff was polite but the place was so dirty. I ordered a pizza off the app at this location and despite getting there early and letting them know, we got it 15 minutes late which was ok but the worker put the wrong pizza in our box. When letting her know, there was 0 apology or concern, simply a dirty look. Today is PIE day and my daughter wanted to come get a Pie for $3 that they were offering so we came to are city's blaze. I waited in the car to find parking and also because I can't stand in long lines do to my disabilities. Fast forward after I found a parking I came in to the mall where blaze is located to find my daughter in the ridiculously long line so I'm looking and looking and I begin to look into to restaurant and this door monitor employee tells me I can't go in and I have to go to the end of the line! I tell him I'm not trying to get a pizza I'm trying to find my daughter he than again tells me I need to go to the end of the line so I tell him again I don't care about your $3 pizza I'm just trying to find my child he continues to be discriminating and not even ask what my need is and just assumes something else and tells me I'm not going to be disrespected I told him I'm not going to be disrespected I'm just looking for my daughter; but if I was trying to get In line with her and he is not letting me that's discriminating against disabled people and that's a huge problem for this day in age. I'm very disappointed and hope that this will be addressed and blaze corporation will better train there employees to interact with consumers better! Worst customer service ever and food poisoning!!! Don't go there All the employees we dealt with had such a bad attitude and would reply to us with condescending tone at each questions. My husband ended up with red onions when he asked twice for sautéed. The guy building my pizza knew nothing of the ingredients in front of him and kept putting them in the center only so 3/4 of the pizza was just tomato sauce and cheese and toppings would be only in a small circle in the middle. My husband got super sick a few hours after eating and we had to go back home cause he couldn't handle it anymore. He was sick the rest of the day and the entire night and couldn't eat anything else. I got sick in the evening too PLEASE CHECK YOUR INGREDIENTS OR CLEANING PROCESS there is obviously something wrong I love the blaze in Irvine and got super disappointed here. I was waiting for a long time maybe 15-20 mins so I had gone to check it the pizza was ready. Turns out the cook gave the pizza to the wrong guy he apologized and let him keep MY pizza. The cook then told me to get back in line and make another one because he had made a mistake. I waited another 15-20 mins when I went to go check if the pizza was done the cook had gave the guy a Free Pizza Card for the confusion. The worst Blaze pizza I have ever had. We ordered two pizzas. My wife's name is Holly and the first person doing the dough couldn't even get her name right. Second the person adding the meet seriously only put on like 4 pieces of ham and 4 pepperoni and caught an attitude when I asked for more. The meat and veggie containers looked horrible and everything was all mixed up and not I the order of the signs in the front. When paying they told us the total and when we asked for drinks they said there's no more beer on tap that Blaze canceled all that. Ok then take down all the advertising for it. This Blaze is located inside the Ontario Mills mall near the Starbucks and the opposite side of the food court. There is a nice seating section and outdoor patio. The restaurant may be super busy and seats may not be available so try to avoid the busy lunch or dinner rush. As a vegan I was very surprised at the options they have but I was not very happy at the fact that they don't switch utensils when cutting pizza. As a vegan I don't think it's right to cut pizza with the same utensils that were used on pizza with meat. Personally I love blaze, their food is always amazing However, this location needs either better management or more employees; the line was relatively long but it was understandable considering the location. Except, there was only one girl making the entire pizza, usually there is about 3 before you go to the register. So it was taking forever and all their food bins are empty and if you want more of something that is gone. They simply try and scrape out the remaining food and do not replace the empty bin, so you just get scraps of food. All their pastries and sodas are out. No ice in the ice machine. No napkins in the dispenser. No toilet paper in the bathrooms. And all the tables that weren't in use, are dirty. I ordered a make your own 11" pizza through postmates got it with regular dough, white cream sauce, chicken, jalapenos, and a DRIZZLE of pesto. I get my pizza and they poured that pesto on there as if the cap fell from the bottle it was contained in, plus they put BBQ sauce like who eats trash like that. BBQ and pesto wow. This is a new stop for me when I am at the Ontario Mills now! Every time I come to eat at this place, I fall in love with it more and more! The customer service is great! Friendly smiles and great vibes definitely make you feel welcomed. The food is great! My friend said it best when he said "it's like subway but for pizza".
