The best customer service ever, hands down! The store owner, Ed, was such a breath of fresh air and extremely helpful with my fiancé and my questions. This location has been open for about 5 months now. The place was well-kept and organized. Fresh meat and veggies. I appreciate all the variety of sauces we get to choose from! From garlic, to lemon, to sweet and hot, and even a blazing spice for all the heat takers ;) Everything was delicious. If you enjoy Mongolian and Chinese food, give this place a try! You won't regret it. They also serve ice cream as a treat after your meal, talk about a sweet hospitality :) Thanks Ed, for being so kind and awesome!!!

Best Crab Rangoon I've ever had and the dipping sauce had a delicate kick to it. Perfectly done!

Soooo many choices! Beef, pork, light and dark chicken meat, every veg I could think of, a dozen sauce options, 3 noodle choices plus 2 kinds of rice AND vanilla ice cream for after dinner. I'm stuffed! Also, unlike many Asian restaurants, this one was so clean you could eat off the floors. I actually got a tour of the kitchen, unannounced, and was very impressed by how spotless it was. Comfortable seating, plenty of room between tables, and very friendly staff. We're coming back!

Came here with my husband yesterday and really enjoyed it. I really like that they have the sauce combo recipes posted on the wall in case you don't want to blindly experiment. They have a lot of ingredients to choose from to add to your bowl. We came in the middle of a Monday afternoon, so it wasn't busy and the service was quick. I definitely prefer this over YC's. The only thing that would have made it better would be if the chili oil was spicier and the bowls you build your dish in were a little bigger so the noodles don't hangout the sides.

This place is the worst place to get Mongolian! The noodles are gross they used chow mein noodles. They were sticky and tasted horrible! It was non edible! The place was clean, vegetables seem fresh. Don't waste your money here they can't even get the noodles right! Not to mention oh I cannot give you a to go box that is an additional .25 cents. My daughter was ok with the rice noodles. Service was fine!

No complaints here!!! Service was amazing. Gisselle especially really set the tone for the entire transaction.

Ask the Community - Blazin Mongolian BBQ

What's the rule for the bowls, can you build them as high as you want?

Yes anything you can fit in the bowl pack it as high as you want.

Is this all you can eat?

Yes that’s an option it includes rice, soup, drink, and ice cream for $14.75.

Since it's create your own, what's stopping anyone from just making a beef only bowl?

We do not restrict what or how much of any ingredient you put in the bowl. However in my opinion having a variety of ingredients will make a much more enjoyable meal.

They have complimentary parking in the front, side, and back of the restaurant. There aren't a ton of spots, but there's street parking close by too. Ambiance (3.5/5): Like most Chinese restaurants, China Chili is pretty no frills. Which isn't a problem for me at all, I'm there for the food. It's a spacious restaurant with both regular tables and circular tables that rotates (good for large groups sharing dishes). Service (4/5): Fantastic service is also not something I expect at a Chinese restaurant. Yet again, I'm there for the food. With that being said, service, while not overly friendly, is typically pretty efficient. Which I always appreciate. Drinks (4/5): Pretty much your standard soft drinks, tea, and a limited selection of alcoholic beverages. My favorite option is their buddha beer which you don't see in a lot of places. It's a lager and it's in a buddha-shaped bottle. It doesn't get much better than that. Food (5/5): The first time I came was for one of my favorite dishes... Peking duck. There aren't a ton of spots in Phoenix that have it, but out of the ones that do, China Chili serves it at a high level. You can go with either crepes or baos (additional surcharge). The duck is absolutely to die for. Flavorful, juicy meat with crispy skin that fits in perfectly into your mini "sandwich" with green onions and Hoisin sauce. For a reasonable price too. Their food outside of duck is of a similar quality. I especially like their flat noodles with beef. Even classic dishes like sesame chicken have a twist here. It's sliced chicken rather than fully breaded chicken. Just as good as the typical way, the sauce is delicious. My only complaint? They give you a pretty small helping of white rice with your dish. Outside of that, the portions are generous. Everything I've had at China Chili has been a hit. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

There aren't many places in Phoenix that serve duck this neatly like in my photo, and I appreciate that it's not another chain restaurant. It came with some eggrolls because I didn't want the soup and it was really good flavor. Everything was perfect. The service was great. The only flaw there was one thing that went wrong, but I'm not even tripping. I ordered a Kung pow beef and I received the Kung pow shrimp. It's OK. It was so delicious, but I'm gonna have to come back and try that beef. I walked out feeling very satisfied. My stomach felt good. It felt like good ingredients and I only paid $14 and some change and I even got a Diet Coke. Definitely gonna come back for the lunch special because I love the spice. The flavor was really on point. One thing about me is that I love spice I go to specific spots just to eat the spice. Thanks you ; I am slowly disappointed that I didn't receive what I wanted, but it's all good. I wasn't going to say anything just cause like I didn't want the food to go to waste. I don't know who made the mistake but it's all good. I just wanted to point that out.

I spent over $50 on food, and the quality was extremely disappointing. The General Tso's chicken was basically nothing but breaded chicken pieces -- no vegetables and barely any sauce. The Orange Chicken was also dry and lacked sauce, making both dishes bland and unappetizing. To make matters worse, each entrée is supposed to come with rice, yet only a very small portion was provided. At this point, it feels like this restaurant is cutting corners and poorly managed. I'm generally not someone who leaves negative reviews, but the lack of care, consistency, and food quality is impossible to ignore. This was my last time giving this establishment my hard-earned money. I'd rather spend it somewhere that values its customers and takes pride in the food they serve.

It's probably the fanciest Chinese restaurant I've been to in AZ. The lunch menu is excellent and quite impressive! There are 8 entrees to choose along with a side for only $20. What's crazy is that a full size seafood and wagyu beef belly jjampong is a side! They're regularly $24 so it's a crazy deal to get an additional entree!! We ordered seafood jjampong and wagyu beef jjampong as sides and genghis khan beef and chili garlic fried chicken as mains. The jjampong had that great umami taste without the oiliness that's unavoidable at other restaurants. The ingredients felt very premium and fresh. Ghengis khan beef pieces were very generous and tender with a savory sauce. Chili garlic chicken was a tad salty for me but had great crisp. Service was impeccable and one you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes from the lunch menu. I also want to try their happy hour that's available everyday from 4-7PM. All the food items are only $7 and variety looks amazing.

We ordered from their Lunch Combo Special. My friend got the Chili Garlic Fried Chicken and the Seafood Jjampong without shrimp because she's allergic to it. I got the Chili Garlic Shrimp with fried rice. When our server found out it was my friend's birthday, she told us we could choose a complimentary dessert from the menu, which was so nice! My friend picked the Glazed Sweet Potato with Lemon Sorbet. The lunch combos were huge. My friend was already so full after eating the jjampong that she had to take the chicken home. I really liked my shrimp and fried rice. They were so tasty that I finished everything! We also really enjoyed the Glazed Sweet Potato with Lemon Sorbet. The refreshing lemon sorbet paired perfectly with the sweet, warm glazed sweet potato. I try, I review, and I might come back again to try something else.

Gotta support local when you can I say! The menu is pretty basic and has all your typical options for Americanized Chinese food. Wanting to get something that had noodles in it, I opted for the combination #1 which has chow mein crispy noodles, pork fried rice, and two tempura shrimp. Quite a lot of food and for a very reasonable price! I think the combo was around $10. If you are a fan of bean sprouts, this is your place. The chow mein had a massive pile of beansprouts on top. The noodles were indeed crispy but they was such a meager portion compared to the beansprouts. The fried rice was pretty basic but also a generous portion and the two tempura shrimp had a nice crispy batter. I tried some of the eggroll too which is one of the most unique versions I've had since the super crispy outer layer was either a different preparation or different wrap material than I'm used to. The interior was made primarily of beansprouts too. Service was good. Our food was prepared fairly quickly.
