I just stepped inside dessert heaven! What a great coffee house located inside Pechanga Resort and it's oh so yummy! The dessert and pastry selections are limited but the taste is immeasurable. The Chocolate Dome Mousse cake is superb. This impressive little cake feature a fluffy chocolate mousse surrounding a half-dome of chocolate gelée, with a layer of soft chocolate sponge cake and a gorgeously shiny chocolate ganache glaze to top it all off. Chocolate heaven. Another favorite, the Crunchy Cream Puff. Never had anything like this and left me speechless at first bite. Light, crunchy pastry with a creamy, vanilla custard, fresh blackberries and raspberries. Heaven on a plate! Always stop in for coffee while at Pechanga. Usually everything is great. This last visit I noticed they were pre-pulling the shots and leaving them on the bar until someone ordered. I requested new espresso shots not the old ones. The girl got so mad. They first tried to argue that they just made them. The barista admitted she made them before I walked in, but said to trust it was right before I got there and not long ago. Then the manager came over and said she has a 3-5 minute rule and she dumps them after that. Don't count on getting fresh shots here. This is a grab and go coffee shop in Pechanga between the hotel lobby and casino. They have basic coffee drinks, premade sandwiches, baked goods, and prepackaged candies and chips. I usually get ice blended drinks here, but they aren't very good. Also, it's worth noting the prices are too high for the quality of everything. If you don't have comps or dining credit, I wouldn't come here. The service here is hit or miss. Some lady who ordered before me was really pissed that I received my drink before she did. We're not talking about a couple minutes of waiting either. This is pretty much how it is every time, but the difference is you don't know which one you will be. read more

Blends is amazing, typical pricing. If you like other places that serve blended type drinks you love it here. There's definitely something different that makes Blends stand out above the rest..I'm certain it's the smoothness of their "Frappuccino's"...I've never had the gritty ice bits that you often find at other places like McDonalds iced frappes, or Starbucks..which makes Blends frappes more flavorful and you don't get that watered down taste. There's many flavors to choose from. My go to is a blended hazelnut with whipped cream and there's caffeine..you could likely ask to leave out the caffeine if you prefer. If it tastes fruity or like cherries it's not the correct flavor syrup so you should let them know. I think the company they buy the syrup from changed their flavor/recipe or something because the taste was off. And when i mentioned it they were able to correct it. read more

As far as my memory goes, this is one of the newer things that is opened up inside the ever so changing Pechanga casino. It's a nice lounge and a café fused together. It's a nice resting spot after all the noise, or just to wait for the bus if you have a little time to kill. I went and got the Mexican cappuccino, and a couple desserts just to go well with it. The cappuccino came out looking like it was just dumped in there, but the flavor was not bad. A little too sweet for my taste. The desserts were just OK, I've been to their buffet many times and it feels like it's just been pulled from their rack. Not that it's a bad thing since they're using food and not wasting it. I waited approximately 5 minutes, no one else in line, no one else waiting for drinks and the barista says "oh here's your drink" My COLD cappuccino was sitting on the back counter the whole time. This place is so modern! It has many comfy seats and a nice ambience. The drinks there are so tasty! It's about the same price as Starbucks but they have a very nice distinct taste to their drinks. They also sell sandwiches, salads, deserts, and wine! I DIE FOR THEIR CHEESECAKE. It's the best I've tasted anywhere. I stop by often because I work in the casino and it's always prompt service. I went for their Cafe Latte with soy. It was excellent. It had the right about of sweetness and bitterness. It was well done. Most of the drinks I've had here have been impressive. Their prices are a little on the pricey side though. The inside of this place is cute. They have plenty of tables and chairs. We normally try to sit on their comfy sofas. What I love about this place is they have a large variety of drinks and snacks. They even have alcoholic drinks and a full on bar =). My only complaint is that their drink can take awhile to come out. Still, it's a good coffee shop if you are in the casino looking for a drink. read more

I really like Pechanga's new coffee bar! It is beautifully designed. They have plenty of places to sit and you can also plug in your phone or any other electronics. They change their display case depending on the time of day. In the mornings, they have muffins, croissants and other breakfast treats. Mid-morning to early afternoon, they change the case out to include various treats, from cheesecakes and cupcakes to tres leche and and other exotic concoctions. They also have plenty of delicious salads from cobb and caesar salads to an all fruit salad. There are sandwiches, both cold and hot to choose from, like the Smoked Ham Piattata made with bacon, tomatoes, peppers, onions, and gruyeré cheese or the Roasted Prime Rib sandwich made with onions and sharp cheddar cheese. If your vegetarian, they have something for you, too! The Vegetable Wrap, which is made with a bell pepper medley, lettuce, red onions, pepper jack cheese and chipotle aioli or the Vegetarian Piattata, which is made with eggplant, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, onions, and provolone cheese. Not a Starbuck's but the next best thing!!! (If not better)... Was feeling a wee bit slow in the morning... Hmmm... Could it have been the 4 hours of sleep + large libation ingestion the night before? Possibly... So I figured I'd get my morning fix on here as I always do when we are staying at Pechanga. (Fat free Mocha with a double shot for me and a fat free sugar free vanilla latte' for the lady). Then, I throw a warm blueberry muffin in the mix for me and head back to the room so I can watch my old timer self bounce off the walls like the Tasmanian devil locked in a pinball machine!!! Man was that $hit good!!! The espresso they put in that drink was like crack in a can to the fifth power!!! My eyes looked like a cross between Rodney Dangerfield's and Marty Feldman's. Power up baby, power up!!! Loved it!!! That's some good action there, LOL. This is a nice little spot away from all the chaos of the casino and of the smoke. It's very clean, modern and somewhat comfy. They have a few sandwiches, pretty looking desserts and of course coffee and wine. The desserts are a little pricey but that's to be expected. There really isn't that much to choose from but it's enough if you want dessert or coffee. You may see people in here doing a whole lot of nothing just taking up space with no food or drink. I think these are the people who recently lost their money or who is just sick of the smoke. There is enough seating even a couple of comfy couches. Sitting at the tables aren't that comfortable to me but it may be to you. I haven't had anything to drink but the desserts are pretty good but remember this is Pechanga so it's not cheap. Café Cocoa has more to choose from and I believe it's a little bit more affordable. For what it is Blends is alright and I will definitely be back. read more

They will heat it up for you but ask them to toast it, much better. We also ordered their Asian Chicken Salad and Cesar Chicken Salad To-Go along with San Pellegrino Sparkling Blood Orange beverages with Jalapeño and Salt/Vinegar Chips. My friend ordered her usual mocha frap while I opted for their hot caramel latte, both with almond milk. Both satisfied our palates. This was my first time staying at Pechanga, and I'm glad I found this little spot among the casino chaos. I was staying overnight for a work related conference and decided to give this place a shot, hoping it would be more on the quiet side since it's set away from the hustle and bustle of the casino. For what it is, it isn't a bad option for a quick bite, a coffee, or a glass of wine. It's just before the casino really starts, so it's quiet. There's ample seating, just go to the registers and place your order. Seating is open, so after you pay for and get your food/drinks, you can sit wherever you like. I opted to sit somewhere near the entrance so I could dine and people watch. The veggie sandwich was yummy, though it was quite a bit of bread in ratio to the other ingredients. The macaroni salad was a little heavy on the dressing, I didn't finish it but it wasn't bad. I also had a glass of rosé, it was nothing spectacular but was decent. It all came to $17, a little pricey for a pre-made meal and generic glass of rosé but it is a hotel/casino, so that is to be expected. Service was friendly and fast, location is easy to find, and it was very clean. Next conference we have here, I know where I'll go for a decent bite to eat and glass of wine. read more

Haha. - breakfast croissant was a hit. It comes with tator tots. - skip the green tea latte. I literally was sipping on over sweetened soymilk. I asked to remake with an extra scoop of matcha but that just made it sweeter. Lunch: ice triple espresso with 1scoop of white mocha powder, turkey sandwich with macaroni salad. - trust me when i say this but the drink I got hits the spot. It will give you a kick in the throat and you're ready to gamble all night long. - turkey sandwich was okay. I mean nothing fancy they don't add condiments so people can add it themselves but it's good for a light lunch to share. - macaroni salad I could skip it. Blends is located inside Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, CA. We found this spot while wandering the casino. It is a non-smoking area which was perfect for my wife and I. We did not feel like gambling, and we were searching for a place to hang out and wait while my in-laws gambled away. There are quite a few tables and chairs. We sat on a very comfortable leather couch. It was a nice area for viewing the two televisions. Both televisions were on ESPN channels which was perfect for viewing pleasure. Blends offers other items for sale besides coffee and wine. There are salads and sandwiches available. There is also a display case filled with desserts. Surprisingly, I avoided it the entire 3 hours we were there. We did go to the counter to order twice. The first time, my wife ordered a Strawberry Banana 16 oz smoothie which was $4.50 plus tax. It was refreshing. The last hour, I ordered a Mango smoothie. It also tasted pretty darn good. We really enjoyed hanging out here. The atmosphere was relaxing and breathable. We only lost $9 plus tax while inside a casino! That's great! The next time, my in-laws want to return to Pechanga.....it's great to know that we can go back to Blends while waiting for them. read more
