8/3/2023 Honestly, I have never been inside a Bloomingdale's. Took an Uber over to do some shopping.. I am in search of a new handbag, and was hoping to maybe find something.. Unfortunately, nothing was appealing.. They opened the entrance and staff was too busy to acknowledge customers. Walked out empty handed, and probably won't return.. I can see why customers shop online and in their own homes..

This review is specifically for Juling Wang, business manager at the Maison Francis Kurkdijan. Yesterday, my wife and I must've spent an hour and half with her. She educated us and kept us entertained with the products. She is humble and very knowledgeable. We cannot say enough about her work ethic and professionalism. I wish this review can somehow reach to her. We bought the Baccarat Candle ($110) and a La Perla perfume ($108). We will be back for more fragrances again. Juling takes her time and doesn't rush the process. We haven't gotten this type of sale in a long time; my wife and I were so captivated by Juling's past experiences with perfume/cologne and the industry. Because of her, I have gained lots of knowledge with MFK and his products. We need more people like her in the workforce. I totally recommend anyone wanting to buy a new perfume or cologne bottle, to buy from Juling. Please let her know we said hello and tell her we sent you!

Recommended Muslin Cleansing Cloth from Ana.. for cleansing & toners.

I went to go shop at CLARINS and received the best customer service ever. Please look for ANA A. @ Clarins and she will give you such insightful tips and recommendations for your skin to flourish with the products that best suits YOU! She gave me a consultation as I went inside the store without any knowledge of what to purchase... My skin was suffering. We both went around the department store and Ana recommended me several products that weren't just from CLARINS. I wanted something light, good for sensitive skin.. etc. I went home with such an amazing sunscreen (Clarins) and the Santal Treatment Oil (Clarins as well), and a HANDFUL of samples of the Clarins Double Serum & Dr. BARBARA STURM - the Face Cream (Rich) -- all thanks to Ana. Everything is meant to be lightweight, simple, and nutrient-filled to soothe & protect my sensitive skin that would flare up from other products that were doing me no favors. Her expertise is incredible, and she has SO much knowledge to SHARE with you... Even if you are not shopping for any CLARINS, do yourself a FAVOR and look for Ana and ask for her help and advice. I myself will only be going to her from now on, for my skincare to makeup, everything. She will teach you how to apply all skin products CORRECTLY, and give you a run down of YOUR routine that she best recommends. And it works. My makeup, my skin feels so much better. And it's just my first visit. *If you are like me, who has STRUGGLED to find the right products, who has wasted A LOT of money of products that DO NOT work--Visit ANA @ the CLARINS Department**... Your skincare routine does not have to be luxurious nor expensive.. Just need the right tweaks. Thank you Ana for your help, I am so, so grateful...

Bloomingdale's charged me over $70 and told me I was getting them on sale!

Bloomingdales charged me over $126 total over the list price (at Matouk, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, etc) of Matouk towels and told me I had $124 in savings. When I called for a price check, they kept me on the phone for over an hour. Then they required that I come into the store in person because the credit card I bought them with had expired. This is so unethical and I only even noticed because one of the bath mats was damaged and I was checking how much it was to decide if it was worth trying to exchange it. They also took over a week to ship these to me after I bought them in the store, which I also find bizarre.

Gifts for you & me!

Trendy, hip for sure! Bloomingdale's is not as hoity toity as Neiman Marcus which makes it more approachable for the aspiring fashionista. A mix of upcoming fashion brands and stalwart favorites. Drop names for sure. Take a look at 2020 holiday offerings and plan your virtual soiree!

The store is frankly unnecessary. Overpriced, under stocked, and they literally never have anything I'm looking for. Disc stores primary purpose is providing access to the movie theater elevators.

Thank you to Mauro Bella Donna at the Armani counter. You brought laughter, joy, and beauty to the start of my weekend.

Thank you, my dear friend, Mauro. You helped to start my weekend off right. Filled with laughter and beauty. You always do a phenomenal job with my makeup.

Ordered a watch 3+ months ago. Was supposed to be picked up "next week". My contact person failed to answer my calls or texts. They are not answering my emails, customer support doesn't follow up. I'm down $1500 and no one bothers to help me find my watch OR can issue a refund. Bloomingdales is so deep in shit they can't even maintain their customer base. Worst service I've ever had. Impossible to get a reasonable answer from customer service, just a fucked up email with incomplete sentences and the wrong name.

Unlike other reviewers, I find the the inventory doesn't turn over rapidly, unless it's super popular, like a great bucket hat. There's a huge selection of jeans, beauty products, lounge wear, mini & maxi dresses, crop tops, swim suits, houseware, gift stuff, bags, & a selection of Doc Martens, Vans, & platform shoes. There a men's department in the basement, along with the checkout, small impulse items & major discount racks. If you go on their website they have pages & pages of shoes from different brands. The store has a locker for online order store pickup. They once sent back the hat I had on hold when I didn't pick it up in 3 days. No problem with orders paid in advance. When you see something online, don't assume it will be in the store. Anyway, I'm not the demographic, but I like the undergarments, sweaters, hats, & bags the most. I'm over the phase where I want to look like a fashion victim, therefore avoid the teeny tiny crop tops that look like doll clothes. Same for the oversized baggy balloon pants. One thing I'd tell my younger self is to enjoy your body while you're young, don't hide it, just be mindful that when you're pushing 35 you're gonna look ridiculous. Anyway, rant over. Urban Outfitters is a fun store, it might be fast fashion, but it's not cheap.

I ended up lugging two big packages across town that they then told me they couldn't help me with at all, after I'd specifically clarified that they would take them. The women as the store were nice and apologetic but I'm now scrambling to figure out how to get away from work to return these items today before my return window closes. Very frustrated that an error on their end is now my problem, and if I don't figure it out today I'm out a lot of money.

I walked in five minutes before closing to find a jacket and while walking in the store a man walks by and without making eye contacts tells me in a rude tone, we are closed! I then tried to get his attention to ask where I could find jackets; he tried to ignore me and I insisted and said "excuse me, I have a question"; I was trying to get his attention so I could catch his name. His name was Fernando. He quickly said where to find jackets in (of course) a rude tone. I ended up not buying anything because I didn't want to shop at an establishment that was so awful. I left the store with three minutes left until closing. The fact that this man was so rude and even dared tell me they were closed as I was just walking quickly to grab a jacket was unwelcoming and just rude. I was taking my time; I was walking fast because I was mindful of the workers there and the amount of customers still in the store. I was on a two day work trip and didn't bring a thick jacket and San Francisco had a very cold day (locals were telling me it was colder than usual) and I only had five minutes to find a jacket. It's ironic, that there were drug addict men in the store but of course they were not told it was closed; here I am dressed up in formal work clothes and I am approached by that Fernando guy essentially telling me to leave. This can't be solved by training but supervising employees better; this man seems to be free to act this way without repercussions.

I want to give a special thank you to Erik Alvarez, who has been exceptional. What I appreciate most is that he does not simply wait for me to ask for something. He keeps an eye out, understands my taste, and introduces me to pieces I have never seen before, which is honestly not an easy thing to do. His communication is excellent, and he always takes the time to accommodate both me and my husband with patience and ease. One moment that really meant a lot to me was when Erik found a bracelet I had wanted for six years. I had not even told him about it yet, but the moment he saw it, he knew it was exactly my style. It was a fantastic surprise and made my birthday month feel incredibly special. That kind of instinct is rare. It showed me that he truly understands not just what I like, but what will actually resonate. I also want to give a huge thank you to Lori and Dominique for always being there to take care of repairs and after-care needs so swiftly and delicately. There is real peace of mind in knowing that treasured pieces are handled with that level of precision and respect. I could not be happier with everyone at Hermès San Francisco. The store consistently makes me feel at home, and that comes from the culture created by the people behind it. Special recognition to Albert, Caroline, Pinky, Desiree, and the rest of the management team, who are undoubtedly the glue that holds the store together. Their leadership is reflected in the consistency, atmosphere, and standard of service felt throughout the boutique. Hermès San Francisco continues to be a place where the relationships feel sincere, the service feels deeply considered, and every visit reminds me why this boutique means so much to me.
