This is a nice place for brunch! It gets crowded during peak breakfast times so I would recommend getting there early. We started with mimosas, got the combo, and blueberry ricotta pancake for the mains. Finished with tangerine almond cake. Mimosas- Sweet and refreshing! Perfect way to start the meal. Combo- You get pancakes, eggs your way, your chouce of protein (we picked bacon), salad, and tater tots. Each item is tasty and it's a good way to get a little bit of everything. Blueberry Ricotta Pancake- Pancakes are nice and fluffy. You get a sweet berry compote that enhances the flavors. Presentation is beautiful. Tangerine Almond Cake- It's a dense cake, moist with a strong almond flavor and a hint of citrus. It's a delicious dessert with just the right amount of sweetness. Great experience overall!

Atmosphere & Seating: Cute, earth-toned decor with a cozy feel! It can get a bit noisy indoors when busy, so we opted for table seating outside under the umbrella shading, which was super pleasant on a warm day. Ordering & Service: The setup is simple. You order with the cashier up-front, take a numbered placard to your table, and wait for your food. The service was efficient, and our dishes came out in a very reasonable amount of time. Food & Drinks: Kokomoko: Generous portion size! The chicken was packed with flavor. It's not very crispy, but it was tender and the egg on top was runny. I also really liked the cold macaroni salad on the side, which was light and refreshing. A fantastic complement to the main dish. Blueberry Matcha: Definitely at least above average for matcha. The blueberry flavor tasted natural rather than artificial, blending really well with the matcha. Considering the fact this isn't a cafe, I would say the drink is pretty solid. Lots of parking outside since it's at a shopping plaza with HMart.

The best waffle I've ever had! This spot felt like Irvine's best kept secret. I've been reminiscing about how good this waffle was since I had it last. You order and pay first, find a seat, and they bring you your food. The drinks came out first, then the breakfast! I thought the latte was good, but nothing too standout. I'd love to try their matcha next time. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the tots were crispy! The waffle had a nice crunch and was so fluffy inside. It was a perfect balance with the fresh fruits. We also had the pancake as well, but much preferred the waffle. They have a happy hour menu I wanted to try, but I'll save that for next time! Will definitely be coming back here! I had been looking forward to trying Bluberry Social after seeing all the great reviews, but it ended up being a bit of a letdown. The restaurant has a cool aesthetic, and the food presentation is definitely there, but the meal just didn't match the hype. I was planning to order one of their specialty drinks until I saw mochas & matchas running around $8 to $10. I know OC isn't cheap, but those prices were enough to make me pass. We ended up grabbing drinks at the H Mart grocery store a couple doors down instead, and another person in our group ended up eating at Chai Lan. That's just kind of how lunch unfolded. I ordered the Chicken Koko Moko. It's a good-looking plate, but the flavors never really caught up. The panko chicken was just okay. The Kona macaroni salad ended up being the best part of the meal, and the tater tots were crispy and good, although the portion felt a little skimpy. Another person in our group ordered the Big Breakfast Burrito. For about $18, it felt surprisingly small. The bell peppers completely overpowered everything else, and the eggs had that pre-mixed, poured scrambled egg texture rather than tasting like freshly cracked eggs. That one was an easy 2/10 and definitely not something we'd order again. I was also surprised they couldn't do something as simple as plain pancakes for the kids. It seems like an easy accommodation for a brunch spot. What surprised me most was how I felt afterward. I only ate about half of my meal and took the rest home, yet I still walked away feeling unusually bloated. I wanted this place to be one I'd recommend because it certainly looks the part, but for me the experience never matched the setting. Still searching for that brunch spot in Irvine that makes you want to plan your next visit before you've even paid the bill.

Fast, quick, easy, quick service with good food and good drinks. We didnt spend *too* much time there but the place is nice enough with everything else being quite fair. I'd love to return again sometime!

Went for a late lunch on a weekday. You order at the counter and grab a seat - everyone who works here is friendly. Drinks were average but not worth the price. The double strawberry wasn't too sweet but didn't go very well with the espresso in it. My honey oat latte was decent. The Italian spritzer was questionable. The French onion soup was delicious. I would definitely get this again. While the turkey sandwich was presentable and ingredients tasted fresh, I really didn't like the structure of the sandwich. All the proportions were strange. The avocado and turkey were squeezing out constantly and the tomatoes were falling off the edge. The focaccia bread was fine but not the best vessel for this sandwich. I don't think much thought was put into the experience of eating versus just the presentation was considered. The breakfast burrito was good but only had 6 tots which was kind of sad looking. Something was truly wrong with the brussel sprouts. It wasn't fresh. I'm sure they overdid the balsamic to cover this up. It was also muggy inside with flies flying everywhere. It was hard to enjoy eating while sweating on the velvet furniture. We also tried the chocolate chip cookie and the maple oatmeal sandwich cookie. I wouldn't get either again. I don't know if I'll come back anytime soon but perhaps will give this place another try someday. Edit: changed from 2 stars to 1. Those brussel sprouts were definitely spoiled. That's disgusting to serve to customers.

Happy July! I haven't been back to socal in sooo long! A friend recommended coming here as a place to grab lunch and catch up with friends. It is located in a plaza with lots of parking. You order at the register and they give you a number. They bring the food to your table. You can choose to sit outside or inside. When we went, there were no available tables inside. Happy hour starts at 2, which worked out for us! We all ordered different dishes. Jill's combo, chicken Koko moko, veggie omelette scramble, blueberry ricotta pancake, country kitchen breakfast, poke nachos, and truffle fries Drinks: mimosas (comes with extra champagne), blueberry matcha latte, strawberry matcha latte, espresso martini, berry collins. The individual pancake is super big. We were worried about the portion but turned out to be incredibly large. I had the country's kitchen breakfast, which was a simple but delicious meal! One thing I wish I knew was that they put cheese on top of their salad. Unfortunately, I don't eat cheese so I didn't eat the salad. However, everyone I was said the salad was delicious. Drinks were delicious! I would def recommend going during happy hour. Drinks were $9 Overall, it was a great place to enjoy food and catch up with friends!

Went here for the first time and was not disappointed! My friends and i shared the blueberry lemon ricotta pancake, chicken & waffle, and their loco moco. Overall, food was presented beautifully and was cooled well & flavorful! The service wasn't terrible but also not the best. When i first arrived i wasn't sure id be seated or if there was a different process. An employee clearly saw me standing at the register a bit confused but didnt offer any help until i had to ask how it works there. You have to order at the counter first and then grab a table. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of seating indoors and the last table available was snatched by a group of people who hadn't ordered food yet. There is plenty of outdoor seating but can definitely get hot. Overall, I had a decent experience and would consider coming back!

Blueberry Social is AMAZING! I can't wait to come back. The line was quite long to order at the register. It went out the door and I think we waited about 30 minutes to order. Once you order, you can choose a seat inside or outside in the plaza. We opted for inside. They seem to have limited staff, which means they are bogged down by lines and serving resulting in limited tables being cleaned. I got the blueberry lemonade and it was a good mix of tangy and sweet! Highly recommend if you're not in the mood for coffee/matcha. I ordered the chicken koko moko and it was DELICIOUS! The chicken was breaded with panko which made it really crispy and a fun texture. The rice had the same gravy on top of it. The mac was also classic and great. The only con was that the egg was a little over, but nonetheless still edible. Highly recommend!!

A cute little brunch spot where you order at the counter. Came around 11am and although the ordering line was long, there were multiple seating options both inside and outside. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food. I ordered the vegetable omelette scramble and it was tasty with plenty of different vegetables on top. The rest of my party got the brisket omelette and jill's combo. Jill's combo was a nice classic breakfast with the addition of their ricotta pancake. The pancake had a good aftertaste left by the ricotta. However, the star of the show for all the plates were actually the tater tots! They were extra crispy, weren't overly oily, and tasted fantastic. For drinks, I got the blueberry crumble latte and loved that it wasn't overly sweet. The addition of the crumble added a nice texture element to the drink. I'll definitely be coming back here in the future!

Bluberry Social left me with mixed feelings. The atmosphere is easily the best part of the experience: bright, modern, and spacious without feeling overly trendy. It's the kind of place that makes you want to linger over brunch, which is probably why it's become such a popular spot. Unfortunately, the food and service didn't quite live up to the setting for us. We ordered the French onion soup, smoked salmon pizza, and breakfast burrito. Surprisingly, the French onion soup was the standout dish. It didn't look particularly appetizing when it arrived, but the rich, savory broth and balanced flavors completely won us over. The smoked salmon pizza had a great flavor profile, but it was way too salty. The salmon was already heavily seasoned, and the capers only amplified the saltiness. Despite the salty pizza, the breakfast burrito was my least favorite item. My wife enjoyed it, but I thought the eggs were overly fluffy and abundant, which muted the flavors of the other ingredients. One thing worth mentioning is the wait. I had read reviews about slow service but assumed those issues had been ironed out by now. Despite there being little to no line when we ordered, our food took about 45 minutes to arrive. I think something may have happened with our order because I noticed multiple parties who ordered after us receiving their food much sooner. To their credit, the staff was friendly and offered complimentary pastries, though they weren't particularly memorable. If you're in Irvine and looking for a brunch spot with a great atmosphere, Bluberry Social is worth checking out. The food wasn't perfect, but the overall experience was enjoyable enough that I'd be open to giving it another try.

Been wishing to have a taste here and had an average / lukewarm experience Drink: Iced strawberry matcha latte (with alt option almond milk) was my favorite item. It had fresh strawberry pieces and made with a richly, smooth organic ceremonial matcha. Iced blueberry matcha did not bring the same level of spark. It was less fruity in blueberry taste and a bit more watery. Top pick is the strawberry matcha over blueberry. Con was they give paper straws and it was degrading halfway through my drink. Food: The big breakfast burrito was mediocre which I was quite bummed. It had a coat of grilled cheese on one side which I pulled off and the chorizo was more of a seasoned chunky ground beef. The side avocado had a bitter taste and had an oxidized appearance revealing an extended shelf life. The salad palette did not complement the burrito dish. Service: All employees were helpful and friendly whether taking our order, asking for assistance or addressing inquired questions. It is open seating after ordering so do not be discouraged by the long line; however, after we were seated we did wait almost an hour for our food on a Saturday during brunch time. Ambiance: I enjoyed the airy and bright layout allowing the natural sunshine lighting. Overall: It's a breathable atmosphere for a true social gathering and just grabbing a matcha latte. It's not necessarily one of my OC choice spots for brunch and major eats.

My husband and I came here for the first time on a weekday. The ambiance is great . There were people inside seated and at the bar. When we went to the counter to place our coffee orders to go . There were 4-5 staff behind the counter working. There was nobody inline and it was just us waiting to place our orders. Two other girls were waiting for their drinks. The staff behind the counter looked like they were messing up the orders, there was no workflow and they did not know what they were doing. They had their backs against us and no one acknowledged that we were waiting to place our order. My husband and I waited for 15 min behind the counter and no one came to take our orders. Let me start by saying on this day I wanted to eat healthy. I do not equate eating healthy with great tasting food. My expectations when I eat healthy are very low in the flavor department. Thank you Bluberry Social for proving me wrong!!!! I ordered their veggie burrito and it was a total flavor bomb. I dare anyone to eat this and even tell there is no meat. This was the most well executed and delicious burrito I have ever had. Every element was perfectly cooked. Eggs were moist and not rubbery. All the veggies were seasoned perfectly with the correct doneness. Sometimes veggies can be under cooked or too mushy. This was neither. The tots were crunchy and had the right amount of salt. The tortilla was perfectly toasted and sealed. The only thing I wish is that I took a picture before I scarfed it down like a maniac. I had their neopolitan drink to wash it down. Really good and fruity with the chocolate. So good!!! Will be back and hopefully I remember to take a picture before I eat it all. read more

Food was okay - honestly pretty pricy for what it was and took a long time to arrive. I ordered the big breakfast burrito and it was a small, standard breakfast burrito, nothing special about it. The lemon ricotta pancake and was also okay and the blueberry crumble latte was sickeningly sweet. Parking is ample and you self-seat at the tables indoor or outdoor. Overall, there are many other better brunch spots in OC. read more

Was able to stop by this past week. Really busy but got my drink pretty quick. Got the blueberry matcha and it was so so so good. I don't even like fruity matcha like that and this is a must try. Located in Northpark Plaza, Bluberry Social is a newer and aesthetically focused brunch location. It is known for an Americana meets modern chic vibe for social media gen Z influencers. If you are lucky enough to find one of the few booths inside, you'll be able to take pictures of soft pinks and plush velvet eating. Atmosphere inside (4/5) Service (2/5) There is one cashier counter by the front and service is extremely slow because it is pay to order, meaning, the wait will be long as you search for a seat with your number stand. I wished Blueberry Social moved to a different location as the service will be subpar with busy tables. A couple of complaints, the patio tables outside does not come with any utensils or condiments so you have to hunt down a waiter for service. My patio table was on the edge and one of the servers could not spot my number. Food (3/5) Blue Lemon Pancake: Dish was beautifully presented with berries and flower garnishes. Pancakes were thin, and while they were not dry, I wished there was more fluff and lemon flavor. Portions were small and not generous. Latte: While I did ordered my coffee drink and meal for sit down, I was surprised my drink was lukewarm and in a to-go container. I wish Blueberry could move to another location as there are no rules or guidance on where you should stand, sit, or receive help. It is not an ideal brunch location were you would receive high quality service. read more

I've seen this aesthetic place all over my social media so of course I had to try it. The was a short line to order but it moves fast. Seating is first come first serve, but it was pretty easy to find a spot inside or outside. My friend and I ordered the House Waffles and So Cal Loco Moco. Both were delicious and packed with bold flavors. My favorite and highlight of the meal was the Loco Moco as it had unique seasonings and it wasn't very heavy. The waffles were also good as the breading was very crunchy and light, but they are just regular waffles. Overall, amazing food and the perfect spot for brunch with friends! read more

Very busy on a Sunday morning, long line but moved quickly. You can look at menus while waiting in line. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The employees are very friendly! Tried Bluberry Social after my friend's recommendation. It was really delicious. Line out the door took about 20 minutes on a Saturday morning. You order at the counter and then you get a number with your food delivered to the table. The food took 30 minutes, but I assume it was just because they were really busy and backed up. The interior is super cute and it was crowded. No empty tables. Staff was very friendly, however, and asked if we needed anything when dropping off the food. The portions are really big and well rounded so I would definitely try this place again. read more

Really wanted to see what all the hype was about and wanted to really like it. Got here at 830 am to beat the rush. Ordered two combos and a passion fruit croissant. Food came out fast. This is where is went wrong.... Poached eggs were room temp and the water they were sitting in was cold making it hard to eat. The tater tots were hard and room temp telling me they were made some time ago along with the eggs. The sausage was good the pancakes were meh I was looking to taste the lemon ricotta flavor with the blue berry but it never came. There was one cooked in blue berry. It tasted very plain. A friend and I had noodles for lunch next door and decided to stop by when we walked past this place. The ambiance had such a good vibe. We were already full, but the croissants looked too good to resist! Blueberry social is a new brunch spot in Irvine!! Thank goodness for this delicious addition to Irvine's brunch scene. This trendy and fun new spot gives next level vibes and brunch food. I finally made it to this place after all the buzz showing how aesthetic the interior design is. Due to the pouring rain, they lost their patio seating, and the workers were scrambling to coordinate ordering and seating for the many customers. At the cashier, we were encouraged to order drinks while we stood to wait for a table, and then we would order our food at the bar. My warm latte was mid-tier; a little pricey. If it was a warmer day, I'd want to try their iced blueberry drinks. The interior is as nice to look at as they say. The chicken and waffles was surprisingly great. Oh my gosh this might just be my new go to brunch spot in Irvine because everything here was so good. Let's start off with the food, everything was cooked to perfection and I like how there's a wide variety between savory and sweet dishes that they offer. I got the breakfast burrito and I was not disappointed, it was loaded and the ingredients they used were fresh and perfectly cooked. After having little nibbles of my friend's dishes I can confirm that the other dishes blueberry social has to offer are amazing as well. Furthermore, the drinks here are so good! If you're looking for a good matcha place I would say this is one of the spots I would recommend, the matcha quality is high and not grainy and I like how they incorporate their fruit flavors into their drinks. I do have a side note about their seating because it gets complicated and it's on a first come first serve basis so there will be predicaments about that... otherwise I can't wait to come back to try more! read more

Great ambiance and I love how much outdoor seating is available. Alcoholic breakfast drinks is a plus and a solid breakfast menu. Love this new breakfast addition to the neighborhood. My favorite order is the breakfast burrito with a side of truffle tots with a glass of champagne and an espresso martini for dessert. Yumm read more

Been there for brunch three times. Matcha drinks are decent. Everytime we went there was 3-4 of us so we tried different things, all stay consistent and great quality....at least memorable and good enough for us to go back(unlike Snooze and Stacks. One time and we don't even remember what did we eat? Never again). Although the 3rd time we went on 4th of July weekend and we waited over 1/2hr to get our food. The ordering line wasn't any particularly long(only 2 parties in front of us but and then it really depends on that moment you hit the line if you go on weekends). Kitchen all backed up that weekend. Decided to try this place because of all the good reviews but we were a bit disappointed in the food. You order first then find a table. There's not too much seating available inside but plenty of outdoor seating available. The decor is nice, very earthy. We got the loco moco and the koko moco. The koko moco is loco moco but with fried chicken. The chicken was crispy and light. The gravy was way too thick and lacked flavor. The loco moco was blah. The meat was dry and the gravy was too thick. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but we left feeling unsatisfied. Lots of parking in this plaza. read more

Came back for brunch Sunday 1pm and there was a long line but it didn't take too long? Maybe 20m in the hot sun, another 25m for food. Chicken and waffles 10/10 sooooooo goood!!!! Chicken was crispy, waffle was soft inside with crispy edges. Amazing texture and taste. No complaints from me. Would 100% recommend and get again. Small brunch spot in Irvine , would definitely recommend looking at the menu before hand. The line can get pretty long but goes by quick. There is limited seating inside . I would 10/10 recommend the avocado toast . If you are looking for a good side the tater tots are delicious. They have some pastries up in the front as well, didn't try but looks good . I really enjoyed their matcha and was wondering what matcha they used so I got up and asked the worker if they are allowed to tell us. She proceeded to go in the back and ask what I assume was the owner. She came back and the first thing she said was "Our matcha is very very expensive" ummmmm.... I did not ask if it was expensive or cheap. She then says "Our matcha is from Japan and it's in a big bag but we don't know what it is" And you know what, I respect it if you can't tell me but I'm so sorry, why is the first thing you tell me: "Our matcha is very expensive?" After this the owner comes out as I tell the worker it's alright thank you so much and she proceeds to tell me AGAIN "Our matcha is very very very expensive" LIKE I DID NOT ASK IF IT WAS EXPENSIVE! Went back to try the chicken and waffles and had a flat white (a beverage with no added sugar lol). The chicken and waffles were quite good but so hearty and very heavy. Two people could definitely split it. My friend really enjoyed her avocado toast but the bread was hard for her to cut with a regular knife. Maybe a steak knife would be better to provide with that dish. Staff checked in on us fairly regularly to ask how we were enjoying our food and if there was anything we needed. They cleared our plates in a timely manner too. I sincerely believe that this establishment will continue to improve in the coming months. They already have the crowds so after working out a few kinks I think they certainly should be able to live up to the hype! read more

My cohort (~30 people) came here at 10 AM on a Friday. Even though we were a big group, the staff were extremely accommodating, patient, and kind! The service here was amazing!! My boyfriend and I had seen this place on tiktok and were on our way to Hmart when we saw it next door. They are still in their soft opening so it was pretty empty early morning. The workers were really nice and friendly and the ambiance was really nice. We only got a blueberry matcha to try and it wasn't very good. My boyfriend couldn't taste the blueberry flavor and I could barely get a hint of it. It was also overwhelmingly sweet so much so that it overpowered the matcha. We came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy. The restaurant was so aesthetically pleasing, however the booth seats are a little bit limited. I like that you could sit outside though. We ordered the avocado toast, the breakfast sandwich, and the breakfast plate. Out of everything I would say that breakfast plate was the best! Their tater tots are to die for too. Walking in, we could already tell this would eventually become a popular brunch destination with the clean aesthetics and the variety of brunch drinks available. At the recommendation of the cashier, I ordered the double matcha which is a matcha latte with matcha cream on top and I'm so glad I did! It's pricey at $8 but definitely worth it when you're feeling like having a treat. The entrees were generously portioned and loved the locomoco with the two sunny side eggs on top. The creamy rich yolk added the perfect addition to the dish and allowed it all to come together. I do wish that they had served it with a little more pickled onions as it helped cut some of the heaviness of the dish. Bluberry Social is conveniently located next to hmart so I'm sure we'll be back to try more of their dishes in the future and look forward to checking out their dinner menu. read more

I came here yesterday and didn't know what to order and the cashier pointed at the menu and recommended the avocado chicken wrap because she said a lot of people come back for it so I decided to try it. On the menu the price was $16. When she logged it into the POS system, the screen said the avocado chicken wrap was $19. I pointed out the mismatch and the cashier said the menu was wrong. Then proceeded to ask me if I wanted it. I still ordered because I wanted to try it but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth because they are falsely advertising prices on their menu. The least they could do was price match the item to $16 but they didn't. I have attached a picture of the menu and the receipt for evidence. The avocado chicken wrap was good but it's not $19 good considering it's chicken, avocado, lettuce, and some sauce wrapped in a tortilla. I would highly recommend you check the price of what you're ordering in comparison to what they charge. read more

Everything we've tried has been amazing -- the breakfast burrito, loco moco, avocado toast, and especially the blueberry ricotta pancake were all delicious. The orange juice tastes super fresh, and their matcha is my favorite! Oak barrels used for aging whiskey are set around and the general vibe was very attractive. If you want to have a quiet conversation with someone, this is probably not your place, but if you want a fun time with that kind of vibe, it is an excellent place. I recommend Bosscat highly.

The crowd generally seems to be young and vibrant and makes Hako a nice lively place to have a filling lunch. Cheese Katsu (with curry) (5/5): this is always a hit with us. The cheese pull goes crazy and it is a large reason we always return! We love the curry as well! Hire Katsu (2/5): sad to say this one was a bit of a disappointment. I wish we had taken a picture but the pork had been pounded extremely thin to the point where i only really tasted the panko. To my knowledge, this was supposed to be a more premium cut since it's more expensive than the other pork katsu. I never judge anything based off of value, but this was dry and burnt to a crisp ): From the side profile of the cut, it appeared that one layer of batter and panko was thicker than the meat itself. So far, we have had more good experiences than not at Hako, and prefer not to let this particular experience deter us from returning again. We hope future trips will prove to us otherwise, but until then, as for the quality of our meal, I hope this can be looked into.

This might be the first coffee shop I've visited in California with this vibe and aesthetics. No knock on the other minimal and trendy coffee shops that have flooded the scene. But there aren't any quite like this one. It just feels so elevated and unique. Def setting their own trend here. I was surprised that the food and drinks here were really good as well. This was my second visit here. The first time I came here was with four of my girlfriends and we all got different drinks so that we could try a variety. My absolute favorites were: Strawberry matcha: Bluberry strawberry matcha was so well balanced-you could taste the milk, the strawberries and the matcha through every sip. It had the strawberry compote on the bottom so that you can intensify the already infused strawberry milk. It allowed me to customize how much more strawberry flavor I wanted to add to my milk. Thought it was brilliant!! Don't get me wrong-the milk already comes with their house made strawberry syrup infused into it which was the perfect sweetness for me. But when my daughter drinks it, she likes to mix half the bottom part into it for a kick of more sweetness. Blueberry matcha: there's no artificial flavor to this drink. It literally tastes like sweet blueberries and matcha. I think that seems to be the theme of all their drinks. I watched them bring out syrups and foams from the kitchen and everything seems house-made. Straight from the blender. Plumboucha: it was such a unique taste. I don't think I've ever seen this from any other big coffee shops. I love their ode to healthier drinks for us health conscious people. It was sweet, refreshing and slightly sour like kombucha, but this one actually tasted really delicious. Im addicted! And I was told this is actually really good for you too by my Korean friend who said they use this for digestive properties in her culture. Bluberry crumble: prob the first time I ever had a drink like this. Blueberry pie meets coffee. It was literally a dessert in a cup, without being too sweet. It was def the sweetest of the four drinks but still not overkill. I loved the blueberry cream with the crunchy crumbles!!! For food: I loved their waffles, cheeseburger, tater tots, açaí bowl was so beautiful and tasted healthy and not overly sweet, their poke bowl is one of the best-not too much sauce and perfect amount of texture and flavors in one bowl! I've gotten this both time I was here, Service was great too. I was told they're still in their soft opening and still in training. But they seem to be really on top of their staff and their customer service. This is def going to be a regular spot for me, my family and friends. I've told my kids to stop going to their drink shops and start coming here for their matcha drinks since I know it's 100% natural and a lot healthier than the places they frequent!! read more

I had a frustrating experience at Blueberry Social. I visited with two friends and we brought a box of bagels with us. We ordered three drinks and a pizza from the café, sat down, ate the pizza, and finished our drinks without anyone saying anything about the bagels. The same employee (possibly the owner) who took our order saw us when we came in and when we ordered. What was confusing was that only after we had finished eating and were getting ready to leave did she come over, clear our plates, and tell us that outside food was not allowed in a unpleasant tone. If bringing outside food was against their policy, that should have been communicated when we walked in or when we placed our order--not after we had already purchased food and drinks and spent time there. There was no sign indicating an outside-food policy, and nothing was mentioned at the counter. It felt inconsistent that it appeared acceptable while we were ordering and spending money, but suddenly became an issue as we were leaving. What made the interaction more disappointing was being told that bringing food into "any food establishment" isn't okay. While many businesses do have outside-food policies, they are typically communicated clearly up front. My issue isn't with having a policy--it's with how it was handled and communicated. Overall, the experience left a negative impression and could have been easily avoided with clear signage or a polite reminder before we ordered. read more

What a gem Irvine just got! Our family stopped into Blueberry Social on a Sunday afternoon, and I can honestly say this place is already one of my new favorites for brunch. We started with the chicken and waffles...hands down, one of the best I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked: moist, juicy, and packed with flavor. Pair that with a crisp waffle and you've got a winning combo. We also tried their breakfast burritos, which were stuffed to perfection with fresh ingredients and so filling without being heavy. And don't even get me started on the tots...they're ridiculously good. Somehow crispy all the way through until the very last bite. Whoever's behind the fryer deserves a medal. Drinks were just as impressive: coffee was bold and smooth, juices were fresh and vibrant. You can tell quality ingredients are a priority here. Service was another highlight. If you're in Irvine, you'll notice there are plenty of great Asian restaurants--but this spot stood out to me because it serves classic American breakfast. That alone made me want to check it out. First off, the place is gorgeous. The interior is stylish and the vibe feels almost like dining in a high-end hotel restaurant--casual yet luxurious at the same time. It instantly put me in a good mood and made the whole experience feel special. The restaurant, tables, and even the restrooms were spotless, which made it super comfortable to just relax, eat, and catch up with friends. We ordered the breakfast burrito, avocado sandwich, and chicken & waffles. I've never been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my life. While the food wasn't great, the real issue here is the management. The male Asian manager working when we visited was beyond rude he was aggressive, dismissive, and completely disrespectful. From the moment we brought up a concern, he rolled his eyes and spoke down to us with such a nasty attitude. It wasn't just bad customer service, it felt personal and discriminatory. We noticed he was perfectly polite to other tables, but when it came to us, he was hostile and short. It honestly felt like his behavior was racially motivated. I was shocked that someone in a management position would act this way. He made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I will never spend my money here again, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated with basic human decency. I think his name was Allen? Blueberry Social is super cute! The line can get long, but it moves pretty fast. Seating is first come, first serve, so just a heads up. If there's no space inside, there's outdoor seating available too! Also parking was super easy! The food was amazing. I got the crème brûlée pancake to go along with Jack's Favorite, and everything tasted so good. The waffle was perfectly crunchy, and I upgraded my tater tots to the truffle tots -- totally worth it. I also tried their blueberry matcha, which was the perfect balance of sweet with just the right matcha-to-blueberry flavor. The only thing I'd note is that the staff initially forgot my truffle tots, but they fixed it quickly. It seems like they're still in their soft launch phase, so I'm sure things will smooth out over time. Overall, I'd definitely come back, especially once the line gets a little shorter! read more

I really wanted to like Bluberry Social, but unfortunately it missed the mark in a lot of ways. The açaí bowl was especially disappointing -- freezer-burned and honestly felt like it came straight out of a Costco packet. Not what you'd expect when you're paying café prices. They had already run out of oat milk, which meant some of my friends couldn't even enjoy the lattes they ordered. The teas were way too sweet, almost undrinkable. And the serving size for the tots was tiny and just plain sad. The burrito, however, was the redeeming factor -- easily one of the best dishes we tried. The loco moco had potential, but the patty was dry (the sauce helped a little). Overall, this place feels more built for aesthetics than actual food and drinks. And honestly, spots like that rarely survive in the long run. read more

Brunch with friends just found a new spot! A really fun new place to enjoy coffee, breakfast, brunch or lunch. Really cool vibes, love the soft peachy pink colors and cozy booths. The service was great, friendly and helpful with making suggestions for our first visit. The scone was perfection! Perfectly baked, not too sweet and pumpkin spice seasoning was on point. The salad had all the fixings I love , fresh vegetables, crunchy topping and delicious dressing. Plenty of grilled chicken breast. They're most known for their brunchy items, but we were here to try their more traditional dishes. The sauce in the garlic shrimp pasta was to die for, we had to use the cheese toast to mop it up. Bluberry Social just opened in the Northpark Shopping Center and it's already one of my favorite brunch spots in Irvine. The vibe is modern, trendy, and super welcoming, perfect for a relaxed brunch or even just coffee. The food is excellent, I tried the breakfast burrito and chicken & waffles, and both were spot on. But the real winner here is the coffee. I couldn't get a photo of it, but trust me, it's the best coffee I've had in Irvine. Nothing like this in Irvine! Good quality food for REASONABLE prices. The favorite is the chicken and waffles and ham sandwich which are awesome. The chicken is not true and they have a bit of an Asian twist to it, which the ham sandwich can't be found anywhere. COFFEES and MATCHA, especially the Strawberry Matcha, is to die for. And, again, you cannot beat their prices. I hear that they will soon be opening up for dinner, with oysters and steaks . . . cannot wait! read more
