When we asked about availability they immediatly made space for us knowing we were there now and ready to eat! They were pleasant, froendly and welcoming, never made us feel rushed. They took note of our food preferences (eg no nuts) and they made sure all meals were safe for everyone. And the meals, so tasty! Shrimp and pasta so good, lamb bolognese just what the person needed who was running the marathon the next day and a perfectly cooked salmon. After placing my order through the online portal, my food was prepared in under 10 minutes. I tried one the potato puffs first because those must be enjoyed fresh - and they were indeed fluffy! A lighter version of a hush puppy or croquette, Gregoire's potato puffs had a melt-in-your-mouth texture with a crispy and salty exterior. I received 9 puffs in my box, which also included a side of mayo or ketchup for dipping. The quiche was also excellent - the egg custard was soft, buttery, and slightly cheesy, and the zucchini added freshness. The salad was refreshing, with plenty of pickled vegetables and a tangy mustard dressing. I can for the banh mi and I ordered the combination with pate and veggies. It was tasty and the meat was tender but the baguette can get a little flakey like some in SF. The pate gave it a bit more flavor. A good place to grab Banh Mi in Lower Pacific Heights. My friend got the Breakfast Bowl, which I also tried a bit of - these beans were perfect - nice and creamy, savory and flavorful with a wonderful broth that made the whole bowl piping hot and super comforting. I got the best of both worlds, and now want to try every other item on the menu. The staff is friendly, and there is ample seating both inside and outside despite it being a small restaurant. It's also really cute and has a homey atmosphere. We've seen a lot of places come and go over the years, but I hope Yo También is here to stay for the long run.
