When you're desperate for Chicago deep dish pizza, this place has a pretty decent pie. We also shared a salad, which was huge! Bring your appetite, portions are big here! We were dining early but this place isn't super crowded, reservations are not required generally. Service was friendly and punctual. Outdoor dining on Castro is an option.

This guy is on a roll with pizza. A Pizza Roll? Yeah. Took a buddy out for lunch. He is unemployed and needed a little cheering up. I've eaten there before, but a long time ago. I forgot how good it was. We hit the trifecta: Stella Artois, chicken wings and deep dish pepperoni. Everyone one wins. The spicy chicken wings were not too spicy (love it) and something I will order again and again. Really good. The pizza reminded of Chicago-style with a touch of California. Midwest meats...West (whuh?). Excellent pie. Anyway, here are the pics.

love this spot! unique flavors and a good variety of crusts they offer. i have eaten at the restaurant and ordered online for pickup. no matter which option you still get greeted by the friendly staff! yes it is a lil pricier than your average pizza joint but quality over quantity! if you go for the cornbread deep dish, i recommend you go with simpler toppings because of the extra marinara you get on top.

Great pizza! I went with my husband and brother-in-law. We ordered the garlic bread and a small pizza to share. It was enough to fill us up with no leftovers! Service was great! I would eat here again

Dined here for the first time supporting of a local schools fundraiser (15% to the school). Love restaurants that does this! Service was quick since it was a weekday lunch. Sat outside in the nice warm weather with umbrellas. Loved the pizzas we ordered! Generous with the toppings and it's verrrrry cheesy! Will definitely consider coming back. The thin crust is thin & crispy yet "fluffy" so good.

I like Blueline. Good salads, pizza (with a lot of crust options) and a wide variety of drinks/beer. Food came out fast. Service was a little disinterested and bored, so dropping down to 3 stars. It was also hot and they said they were unable to adjust the temperature.

We got the small thin crust blue line and mushroom truffle pizza! We liked the truffle more but both were great and so much food to share.

Small size pizza, cornmeal deep dish crust, half classic, and half wild mushroom with added toppings
    Annabelle R.

Ordered a small size pizza with the cornmeal deep dish crust, half classic, and half wild mushroom with added toppings. The pie didn't taste as good as what I've gotten in the past at other Blue Line locations (Campbell, Santa Clara, etc.), but it wasn't bad. The experience was the real disappointment. We ordered and paid online for the pizza, then when we arrived, we informed them we wanted to dine in, ordering beverages and asking for the side we had ordered with the pizza. They gave us everything we needed, providing sufficient service in the restaurant's casual and simple outdoor seating area. But when we paid for the drinks before leaving, we then noticed we were double charged for the side item that was already paid for in advance via the online order. When we requested a refund for the overcharge, the employee resisted, claiming we had only paid for extra pizza toppings. When we showed her our itemized receipt, it was only then that she issued a refund... That was a lot of trouble that I think the staff could have easily corrected after we brought to their attention that they had made a mistake. As much as I love pizza and Blue Line's general product, I'm not a big fan of this Blue Line location.

I've continue to eat my pizza from here and it has never disappointed me! I can't believe but I recently just discovered their garlic bread and oh my goodness it was so freaking amazing! I can't believe I didn't try this before! My next favorite is their soft pretzel with cheese sauce. Wow!! I love getting this and it's honestly perfect on its own. The food is always packaged well and arrives hot each time. So I do appreciate the service and care.

We ate a hot honey deep dish pizza, which would've been pretty good had the hot honey not been overdone (and which was not very hot at all), and had there been slightly less arugula. Unfortunately, the bigger problem with this location of Blue Line is that the inside has a vague scent of cleaning chemicals. Not ideal!

However, after the incident, observation and order of food I received on 6/13/26, I cannot support this location. As mentioned we always had a pleasant experience at this location, with great service and great food. But this day the entire staff was off, and it was mainly due to the negative, micromanaging and rude manager/owner Partika. From the moment I walked in the establishment the vibe seemed completely off than what I was use to from past visits. It was scorching hot inside and the employees looked miserable. I quickly figured out why, as I placed my order with the gentleman upfront who was doing a great job, and here comes Partika hovering over him and reaching over him re-asking my order, although the employee had already entered it in and was simply trying to ask if I wanted to add anything else. Once done and paid, she then moves to the back counter and begins to holler over to the employees in the back about hurrying up with tickets, although they weren't very busy. I stood to the side as I had ordered a slice to grab now for my child, and then a full pizza and wings to go. Upon waiting, Partika approaches and tells me to sit down. I looked at her and told her it was not her discretion and I would await the slice to come right out as I already discussed with the employee. Once I obtain the slice i exit and wait in my vehicle in front of establishment. Out comes Partika harassing two men who had just finished up their pizza when I originally walked in and were still sitting at one of the table now having a refreshment from the adjoining establishment. She told them they could not sit at the tables they were reserved for her customers, and they told her they had just ate there and she begin to argue that now they had to move . Be advised there were many tables outside that any guest could choose from and her establishment was far from busy. Once my order was ready, I went back inside , and again she was arguing with another customer who stated the pizza she attempted to hand her was not hers if she could double check. Her rude comment was yes this is yours and the customer explained no her receipt clearly showed this was not her order. The gentleman apologized for the entire ordeal I had experienced and seen and gave me my order , in which I asked who she was and her name for reference. She then bolted towards me asking what the problem in which I told her the issue is she is very rude to very customer I had seen her interact with in the last 20 minutes. Fast forward to arriving home to now enjoy pizza and wings with my family. Open the box and the cheese is stuck to the top bc they failed to properly package it to avoid this mishap. Furthermore several of the winds were undercooked which could have created severe illness. I blame her presence, bad attitude and rushing her staff for these issues. I love the Tony Gemignani pizza brand but this Slice House in Mountain View has a terrible manager/ owner Partika who needs better customer service skills as well as management skills. I much rather have spent $100 with an establishment who had good customer interaction and treated their staff with respect.

At this Il Fornaio location, Happy Hour runs daily from 3:00-6:00 p.m., with Mondays offering Happy Hour pricing all day long. The bar and lounge area features three seating options: cozy sofa-lounge seating, a long communal table, and individual seats at the bar, complete with two TVs mounted overhead. We arrived with just 30 minutes left to enjoy it. The Happy Hour menu includes Italian and domestic beers ($7), Italian and local wines ($8), nine different cocktails ($9), plus a selection of antipasti and pizzas for snacking. One thing I appreciated was that the drinks were served in full-sized glassware; nothing scaled down just because it was Happy Hour. I ordered the Tiki Taormina, made with Don Q Piña rum, peach purée, pineapple, lime, and mint. It was absolutely delicious. My husband chose the Margarita Italiano, featuring Herradura Silver Tequila, Lucano Limoncello, Cointreau, mango purée, lime, and a salted rim. Naturally, I had to conduct my obligatory taste test; his was quite good as well. For food, we started with the Polpettine ($13): three flavorful beef meatballs in tomato sauce, topped with creamy stracciatella cheese (the soft center of burrata). Served alongside were three slices of crostone, or toasted rustic bread, perfect for soaking up the sauce. We also shared the Pizza Fradiavola ($14), topped with mozzarella, Italian sausage, tomato sauce, mushrooms, bell peppers, red onions, and spicy peperoncino. It was tasty, nicely topped, and ideal for sharing. Service was good with at least two bartenders working throughout our visit. Between the quality drinks, satisfying bites, and good service, this spot has earned a place on our growing list of favorite Happy Hour discoveries.
