When you're desperate for Chicago deep dish pizza, this place has a pretty decent pie. We also shared a salad, which was huge! Bring your appetite, portions are big here! We were dining early but this place isn't super crowded, reservations are not required generally. Service was friendly and punctual. Outdoor dining on Castro is an option.

This guy is on a roll with pizza. A Pizza Roll? Yeah. Took a buddy out for lunch. He is unemployed and needed a little cheering up. I've eaten there before, but a long time ago. I forgot how good it was. We hit the trifecta: Stella Artois, chicken wings and deep dish pepperoni. Everyone one wins. The spicy chicken wings were not too spicy (love it) and something I will order again and again. Really good. The pizza reminded of Chicago-style with a touch of California. Midwest meats...West (whuh?). Excellent pie. Anyway, here are the pics.

love this spot! unique flavors and a good variety of crusts they offer. i have eaten at the restaurant and ordered online for pickup. no matter which option you still get greeted by the friendly staff! yes it is a lil pricier than your average pizza joint but quality over quantity! if you go for the cornbread deep dish, i recommend you go with simpler toppings because of the extra marinara you get on top.

Great pizza! I went with my husband and brother-in-law. We ordered the garlic bread and a small pizza to share. It was enough to fill us up with no leftovers! Service was great! I would eat here again

Dined here for the first time supporting of a local schools fundraiser (15% to the school). Love restaurants that does this! Service was quick since it was a weekday lunch. Sat outside in the nice warm weather with umbrellas. Loved the pizzas we ordered! Generous with the toppings and it's verrrrry cheesy! Will definitely consider coming back. The thin crust is thin & crispy yet "fluffy" so good.

I like Blueline. Good salads, pizza (with a lot of crust options) and a wide variety of drinks/beer. Food came out fast. Service was a little disinterested and bored, so dropping down to 3 stars. It was also hot and they said they were unable to adjust the temperature.

We got the small thin crust blue line and mushroom truffle pizza! We liked the truffle more but both were great and so much food to share.

Small size pizza, cornmeal deep dish crust, half classic, and half wild mushroom with added toppings

Ordered a small size pizza with the cornmeal deep dish crust, half classic, and half wild mushroom with added toppings. The pie didn't taste as good as what I've gotten in the past at other Blue Line locations (Campbell, Santa Clara, etc.), but it wasn't bad. The experience was the real disappointment. We ordered and paid online for the pizza, then when we arrived, we informed them we wanted to dine in, ordering beverages and asking for the side we had ordered with the pizza. They gave us everything we needed, providing sufficient service in the restaurant's casual and simple outdoor seating area. But when we paid for the drinks before leaving, we then noticed we were double charged for the side item that was already paid for in advance via the online order. When we requested a refund for the overcharge, the employee resisted, claiming we had only paid for extra pizza toppings. When we showed her our itemized receipt, it was only then that she issued a refund... That was a lot of trouble that I think the staff could have easily corrected after we brought to their attention that they had made a mistake. As much as I love pizza and Blue Line's general product, I'm not a big fan of this Blue Line location.

I've continue to eat my pizza from here and it has never disappointed me! I can't believe but I recently just discovered their garlic bread and oh my goodness it was so freaking amazing! I can't believe I didn't try this before! My next favorite is their soft pretzel with cheese sauce. Wow!! I love getting this and it's honestly perfect on its own. The food is always packaged well and arrives hot each time. So I do appreciate the service and care.

We ate a hot honey deep dish pizza, which would've been pretty good had the hot honey not been overdone (and which was not very hot at all), and had there been slightly less arugula. Unfortunately, the bigger problem with this location of Blue Line is that the inside has a vague scent of cleaning chemicals. Not ideal!

Glass of wine for our friend, who introduced us to Blue Line Pizza. It is Son of a son, Red Blend.

ARE WE IN SILICON VALLEY? 4.5…read more One might never know this restaurant exists, tucked away near a Google business park just off Highway 101. You could stumble upon it through Yelp (as we did), discover it while staying at the adjacent Treehouse Hotel, or simply hear about it through word of mouth. The parking situation is an interesting one. After turning into the driveway from Mathilda Avenue, you have two options: turn right for valet parking or left into the Google parking lot. There are plenty of spaces available, though parking there is technically at your own risk. The restaurant told us they had not heard of anyone being ticketed or towed. We first dined here shortly after it opened in 2025 and were immediately impressed by the beautiful grounds. The hotel's eco-conscious gift shop, housed in a glass greenhouse and featuring a colorful vintage VW Bug, is a charming touch. The short walk to the restaurant feels especially relaxing on a warm, sunny day. This has become one of our favorite places to bring friends or host girls' lunches. With three distinct seating options: the dining room, bar, and patio, there's an atmosphere to suit just about any occasion, whether you're dining as a couple or gathering with a larger group. I would recommend visiting during lunch or dinner service and skipping the in-between hours. During that time, only the bar area is open and the menu is more limited. To fully experience what Valley Goat has to offer, lunch or dinner is the way to go. Despite the name, the only goat dish on the menu at the time of this review is the Goat Empanadas. My friend was initially hesitant to order them, but David, our wonderful server, and I encouraged her to give them a try. She was glad she did. There was no gamey flavor whatsoever; the meat tasted more like beef, and the accompanying sauce was excellent. Over several visits, we've enjoyed everything we've ordered and are delighted to have a restaurant of this caliber in our Bay Area backyard. Chef and co-owner Stephanie Izard, winner of Season 4 of Top Chef and an Iron Chef title, owns a total of nine restaurants, primarily in the Chicago area, along with locations in Los Angeles and one at Orlando International Airport. Since we enjoy traveling for great food, we'll definitely be adding some of her other restaurants to our list.

The service was quite slow throughout the evening. We ordered the goat empanadas, wood-fired Mary's chicken, sprouted cauliflower, eggplant, and sticky pork shank. What surprised me most was how similar everything tasted. From the appetizers to the main dishes, the flavors seemed repetitive and lacked distinction. Each dish looked appealing, but none really stood out. Overall, the food felt uninspired, and I didn't get the sense that much care had gone into developing unique flavors for the menu. Given the many 5-star reviews, I was expecting much more and left feeling disappointed. The ambiance is lovely, but I would not return for the food. Don't be misled by the photos, they were far more impressive than the actual dining experience.

There's a beautiful outdoor area in the back with tons of tables. Even though it was super busy, we still had our choice of a few tables, and the foliage/patio umbrellas make it nice and shady. Our food was also delicious! We got: Prosciutto and egg sandwich - eggs were super light and fluffy, and the sandwich was well balanced and cheesy too! Mid week brunch meant a quieter atmosphere and open seating. After perusing the menu we ordered at the counter before sitting at a table after picking up utensils and water. We ordered Fambrini's Breakfast, Brie & Mushroom Omelette, Crab Omelette, and shares the Lotus Biscoff Pancakes. Everyone loved their egg platters. The eggs were perfectly light and fluffy. I generally avoid omelettes getting scrambles instead because restaurants tend to overcook the eggs. Our dishes were prepared with quality and flavor in mind. I personally had the crab omelette and left no crumbs behind. The potatoes were well seasoned and wish I had enough room in my tummy to finish them off! The drip coffee was bold and delicious not watered down at all! Finally, we shared the 2 stack biscoff pancakes for a sweet finish. The pancakes were bouncy with biscoff sauce and a mound of whipped cream. This was mouth wateringly delicious. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but this was so yummy. This isn't a traditional sit down service but counter staff were friendly and efficient. There is a small parking lot off to the side and there is indoor and patio seating. Come by for a meal and you won't be disappointed! I wish I lived closer so I could taste the rest of their meal. Kudos and thanks for an awesome meal!

A Public Health Hazard Enforced by Incompetence…read more The lack of basic sanitary protocols at this Sweetgreen location is a stomach-churning disgrace. For a brand that markets "wellness," the execution behind the counter is nothing short of a biohazard. I witnessed an employee use the exact same gloved hands to tap the greasy payment screen, scratch her own face, handle raw food, and manipulate the plastic menu helper. She then dropped that menu helper directly onto the floor, picked it right back up, and placed it onto the food counter where active bowls were being assembled. When I intervened to explain the basic mechanics of cross-contamination, she just stared back at me completely blank and cross-eyed. What is the actual vetting process at this company? Is an IQ under 80 a strict requirement for employment here? The operational logistics are an absolute joke. There were eight distinct people wandering around the kitchen doing absolutely nothing, while one solitary incompetent was left to poorly construct the plates. Management was entirely nonexistent. Nobody was monitoring the line, nobody was enforcing health codes, and it was blindingly obvious that not a single person on that shift gave a shit about human health. I am genuinely praying I do not contract a severe foodborne disease from this place. This goes far beyond abysmal customer service. This is willful negligence. I am never returning, and I am filing a formal complaint with the Department of Health first thing in the morning to have this shithole inspected and shut down. Avoid this location at all costs.
