Blue Moon Diner in Beaverton is truly a hidden gem . I stopped in for brunch over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by how quick the service was and how friendly the staff were. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The classic diner vibes make the whole experience feel cozy and nostalgic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our meals were about $24.99 each -- a bit on the steeper side for diner food, but the portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Definitely one of those spots where you leave full and happy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating was cute and upholstery looked recently updated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathroom was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd absolutely come back again for the diner experience alone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A cute, underrated place for a laid-back brunch![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I am always impressed by the design of old-school diners. It feels like I'm stepping into a movie set![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While the food here is very standard, the portions are very big and the service is quite efficient. I got the Blue Moon omelette, which had a very strong mushroom flavor and was loaded with vegetables and sausages pieces inside. It was on the expensive side as the conversion rate to CAD isn't great, but apparently this diner was featured in a video game, so it's worth checking out if you're visiting the area!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The diner itself is cute and service was good![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came in for dinner, and the food was just average. We tried the tuna melt and chicken fingers which both came with fries. The fries weren't very good. Prices are a little steep for what you get. Folks around us were ordering breakfast items, so perhaps that is the way to go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're hungry though it will do and if you want an old school diner feel, it will definitely deliver![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I really want to support smaller businesses & restaurants as much as possible. And I understand costs are skyrocketing so I know I'm going to pay more for meals especially when traveling. I don't understand the prices for the menu items for this cutesy retro diner-themed spot. It was really high for what you get. Mimosa was 3/4 OJ, the scramble had a TON of oversized chunks of potatoes, and the benedict was passable with one overcooked egg and one nicely runny egg. I want places like this to survive but it cost us so much and left unsatisfied and still hungry. Unfortunately I don't think we will be back the next time we travel to this area

Service was great, meal was plentiful and the coffee kept on coming! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute spot to have a bite to eat[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Step back into the 50s. This was a surprise stop and we are thankful we did. The food was fresh and tasty. We ordered our fries extra crispy and they were delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outside diner car was so cute we had to stop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside had so much character.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was pleasant and friendly. When I asked what her favorite was she said the Ruben. She has good taste it was delicious.

Full Stop; If you're coming here because you're a fan of Life is Strange, outside of some graffiti in the restroom, the resemblance is all there is. Absolutely no hate or fault to the business but I really thought they'd take advantage of the mystic. Food is basic diner food and my server was an absolute sweetheart. Prices are a bit high for a regular dining experience but for a one off i enjoyed it.

We arrived about 20 minutes early to opening and the diner looked really appealing with its 50's diner design and shiny quilted pattern chrome exterior. Such a cool place! Almost out of place, but what an icon to be in Oregon. You would expect a diner in CA or along Route 66 but this was what we needed. Upon opening of the doors, we were greeted with 50's era music playing and thankfully an empty diner due to it just opening. Was able to get some empty set design photos, I'm sure they are busy and not always so open for a lucky photographer like me. At the chicken fried steak and it was actually pretty tasty. Didn't like the hashbrowns very much, but they weren't horrible. The toast was good, and the coffee was drinkable. The waitress was friendly and Down to Earth, which to me would bring me back before the food would just because that's the way I am with places. Looking forward to coming back and trying something different. Oh, the hollandaise sauce, was split and not very tasty. Other than that good ham and it was cut fairly thick.

Great Dinner! The staff is super friendly. We have visited three times and ordered different things and all have been good. One of my favorites dishes was the Liver with onions, mashed potatoes and vegetables. I loved it! But honestly all the food is definitely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a quiet place this has become our favorite place now.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you haven't already visited, try it, you'll like it too.,

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Fantastic experience. A great authentic diner experience with some fun Thai fusion![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Super love this place. Very good staff, great coffee, great food! We will definitely be coming back here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Prices are decent and atmosphere is so fun![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My boyfriend has been wanting to take me here since he's been at this diner so long ago! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a very unique 1950's style diner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was craving for something spicy so I got the jalapeño burger ($16.99) and he got the bleu burger ($16.99). The fries were cooked to perfection, not too soft but not over cooked either. The burgers were also so delicious, especially with the bacon! They also asked how we'd like the burger done, which was surprising. It was definitely really filling. We also got coffee for $3.49 but the coffee seems overpriced in my opinion and wasn't worth the $3. The service was so fast and attentive! I really appreciated that about them. They came by quickly to get our order and even though it was packed there for lunch, our food came out at a reasonable time too. We are excited to come back for more burgers and to try the breakfast menu. I also saw a lot of people order the hot cocoa, so I am curious to try that next time!

Stopped by Blue Moon Diner and had a pretty decent meal! I ordered the clubhouse sandwich and substituted a Caesar salad for the fries. The sandwich was solid: fresh ingredients, nicely toasted bread, and the mayo had a slight sweetness that was a nice touch. It's hard to go wrong with a club sandwich, and this one didn't disappoint. However, the Caesar salad wasn't my favorite. The dressing was overly tangy for my taste, so I'd stick with the fries next time. The diner itself has a cute vibe and wasn't very busy when I visited. Service was good, nothing exceptional, but no complaints either. Overall, a decent experience. I'd probably return to try something else on the menu!

Here's one of the things I love about The 649. They have a fantastic selection of mocktails that are created with the same creativity, flair, and intention as a "leaded" cocktail. I appreciate that I get to participate and not be stuck with a lemonade, zero alcohol beer, or wine. So, HUZZAH for creating an inviting space for a non-drinker! There *are* times when I'm willing to risk the lobster-bod, itchiness, and stuffy nose and there are plenty of cocktails from which to choose! [Food] There's a nice selection of sharable plates and mains. I've personally tried the flatbread pizza, Bavarian pretzel, Cubano, and Brisket Press, all of which were delish. [Service] The service has always been fabulous. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. [Activities] There are a few TVs around the bar with sports. It was a great place to catch some of the World Cup games. Additionally, there are several games that you can borrow and play, which is a lot of fun. Parking hasn't been super problematic yet, but based on one of the other reviewers (Ron R - loved your formatting too, so I borrowed it until we get rich text formatting or emojis!) Folks, please indulge me with some real talk: I am a self-admitted "burger snob". Which is why I…read morethink plenty of places make a "good" burger, but very few make an "incredible" burger. This is why I'm very happy to report that Biggie's is serving up a legit, bonafide, INCREDIBLE burger! In fact, before I finish this review I'll just say it: Biggie's has now taken my #1 spot for "Best Burger this side of the Portland Metro area". The pictures I posted tell the story. It's a large, juicy, high-quality burger that is cooked to absolute perfection. This is a REAL smash burger, complete with the obligatory slight crispness on the burger's edges. I had previously thought that John's Marketplace made the best smash burger in the area (and they do make a very good burger), but Biggie's is another level of good. Burger perfection, really. Now, let's talk about the fries. Biggie's serves "battered fries". And I have to confess, dear reader...for years I have been petitioning both the United Nations and the International Criminal Court in The Hague to deem battered fries a "Crime against humanity". I mean, it's already a fried potato. A perfectly-sliced, perfectly-fried potato with just the right amount of salt is the very essence of a proper French fry. Yet some heathens (or probably Communists, most likely) think that BATTERING a French fry might be a good idea?!? No. Just no, no, NO!!! With that off my chest, it both pains me and wounds my inner child to confess that - as far as "battered fries" go - the fries served at Biggie's were pretty tasty. They are uniquely spiced in a way that doesn't overwhelm the actual fry, but does add some nice flavor. I would absolutely love it, and probably thereafter nominate Mr. Biggie for a Nobel Peace Prize, if he instead served hand-cut, never-frozen fries. Because those would compliment the amazing burger quite well. Alas, that would also take a lot of time and probably be expensive to do it right (meaning cooking those fresh fries in peanut oil). So, I will forgive the indiscretion of these "battered fries". I guess. Moving on, the price makes this meal (burger, fries, and a coke) a downright bargain. $14 for the whole combo! To put that in proper perspective, a disgusting 1/4 Pounder with cheese meal at McDonald's will cost you...almost $14. That's like asking, "For $14 sir or madam, would you like one of the finest burger combos to ever grace the Oregon Territory, or would you instead prefer a burger combo so foul that if I gave it to my dog, HE would call animal control to report ME for animal cruelty?" Suffice it to say...the choice is both stark and clear. Now, since I was "food high" after finishing this scrumptious burger, I decided to treat myself to a shake too. I figured if the shake was even half as good as the burger, it would be a winner and a must-have. And slap my a*s and call me Shirley...the shake is as good as the burger! Mother of God!! I swear, it's like the man running this place descended from some galaxy far beyond Andromeda for the sole purpose of making my life better. Jesus died for your sins. And Mr. Biggie came from who-knows-where to vehemently convince you, "If eating Biggie's Burgers is a sin, I'd be perfectly OK sharing a 2-bedroom apartment in Gresham with none other than Lucifer himself." Speaking of Mr. Biggie (I don't know his real name), I spoke with him for a short bit and he seemed really cool. Jovial, rightly proud of his burgers, and all around a righteous dude. He struck me as the type of guy for whom you really, really want to see him succeed. And to succeed, people like YOU need to go to Biggie's Burger's ricky tick tick! Like, right NOW! Put your phone down (you've been on it too much today anyway), take a shower for the first time since Burger King was still a prince, and get your burger-loving self to Biggie's! I promise, you will be better for it. I will be better for it. The entire WORLD will be better for it. So, why are you still reading?!? Didn't you see where I already told you to go?? Shoo! Get goin'! ¡Vamos! There, that's better.

Also, it would be nice if the fish was seasoned with salt(or something) to alter the fishy flavor. The Fish & Chips was average at best.
