I want to make it very clear here. If you have an emergency on a Sunday and nothing else is open, then I would recommend this place only for the convenience and the quality care that you will receive however please KNOW and be warned that it comes with a high price tag. The entry level and just to have a consult is $210. Any additional testing and medication is a line item charge and trust me it adds up really fast. The good thing is that they do provide you with an estimate and give you a preliminary breakdown before you agree to any of the procedures so that you will not be shocked by the bill. I understand that it is a speciality boutique animal hospital and therefore like staying at any fine hotel it's going to cost you more than a chain hotel. However I think that it's preposterous to just tack on some of the line items that don't make sense. Why does overnight nursing need to be a separate line for $330 when the hospitalization is already $150 (should already be inclusive). Just read every line and make sure you ask questions and understand what you are paying for. I took my pet in during covid so they had good procedures and no one could enter the facility so I can't comment on the conditions inside the hospital. Side Note; the doctors are very kind; emphatic and also descriptive in every way. The one thing I did wish was that they strongly told me to hospitalize sooner. I waited and my pets condition only worsened. All the staff seem to be very well mannered and know that the service of that kind is based on how much they charge.... Do your research and choose a more affordable or local pet caregiver and only use them if absolutely urgent. I moved my pet after one night (Sunday) to a more local and much more affordable and PERSONAL customer care pet clinic where I was allowed to visit him. Mittens was scratching herself raw & bleeding. I had tried everything, all the usual Vet remedies, natural supplements & homeopathy, NOTHING worked! My regular Vet concurred it was time to see a Dermatologist. Dr. Abraham found the right medicine for Mittens which happened to be a dog medicine but it worked! The care and treatment received from this extraordinary emergency & specialty vet service is extraordinary and worthy of 10 stars, not 5. I have 5 cats, 2 of which have chronic and serious ailments so unfortunately, I am a frequent visitor here. One is a 3 time survivor of breast cancer including 3 surgeries, followed by 3 series (5 or 6 treatments) of chemotherapy. The other has chronic pancreatitis, kidney disease and chronic rhinitis. I'm here with one of my cats at least once every 6 weeks. The vet specialists (Dr. Rocha, Dr. Heft, Dr. Greenberg, Martha (vet tech extraordinaire) are amazing and have given me more time with my cats. Wednesday night I needed to pick up some medicine and was in the neighborhood at 10pm. The care from the front desk from Zule, Sasha and Robin was as extraordinary as the vet care! These 3 ladies are the rare trifecta of smart, helpful and kind. I called to ask about picking up the medicine and was 5 minutes away. In those 5 minutes, the medicine was ready (it's a custom formulation done there), AND they already submitted the bill to my insurance company and had a claims resolution. I was shocked that without being asked, they took this extra step. They are always friendly by I was wowed with their amazing service. I only had to have to pay $10.19 as a co-pay for my $100 bill. Public service announcement, if you have pets, you must have insurance! It takes the financial piece out of making choices for the best care :-) Get it while the pets are young and hope you don't have to use it. Keep up the good work! read more

Blue Pearl was able to see me same day to perform a wellness check on my Frenchie. She hasn't been feeling good for a few days and I was concerned and needed a vet that accepted my pet insurance. The staff were friendly and helpful. I love the check in experience. We were placed in a private room so my dog could be more comfortable and roam around a bit. This location is open 24 hours so it was nice for me to be able to stop by after work. They were able to quickly diagnose my dog and provide medication that night so she could begin recovery. With the knowledge that any emergency is going to be expensive- I can confidently say that I would pay every dime again for BluePearl's quality care. I took my cat, Oliver, here on a Saturday morning for an emergency blockage. They did not make us wait long and processed Ollie pretty quickly, considering my girlfriend and I witnessed three other emergencies in the short hour we waited for my buddy to be evaluated. Dr. Schiff was his ER doctor and she was absolutely wonderful. Calm in explaining what was happening, and patient and kind when listening to some mild hysterics. He was then placed in the care of Dr. Ferreri and her nurse (I am so sorry I can't remember her name) and they were both fabulous. Doctor fielded my questions easily and made me feel very at ease. She gave specifics about Oliver's personality so I knew she was treating him extremely well. I bet that BluePearl sees dozens, if not a hundred, pets per day, and they managed to make me feel like Oliver was their top priority. I am so grateful to them. This review is for Dr. Farrelly, my ice princess's oncologist and the Blue Pearl Vet team. Sigh, my baby seems to be hitting all of the old age speed bumps...and after getting CKD under control it is now on small cell intestinal lymphoma. After having a good experience with Blue Pearl Downtown, we chose here for our oncology needs. I have nothing but good to say to Blue Pearl Midtown's front office and oncology vets/vet techs. When I scheduled my initial consultation, they were patient and totally understood that I wanted to schedule it to come after the PARR test, just in case, as if the ultrasound and endoscopic biopsy results may be too aggressive. But I mean denial is pretty comfortable when you see the word lymphoma. So, they scheduled me in for after completely professional and quite kind when I scheduled the visit 1 mo in advance, mostly in shock. The visit - we arrived around 20-30 min early because I was paranoid I would miss it. Everything was clean and quiet and the front desk seemed quite calm and friendly. They got us into a room after only 20 min so I could open Yuna's carrier even if she decided she wanted to stay in the carrier since I had been starving her since the night before due to the tests she needed to take. Vet tech (can't remember the name, I think I was a bit out of it) came in on time and was patient, calm and understanding even if my answers were probably all over the place. Triaged me well and then took Yuna to be seen. Dr. Farrelly has a lovely bedside manner. He came in and explained that he agreed it is likely small cell intestinal lymphoma with all the tests, the possible treatment options, and which one he thought would be best, how cats generally do well and their average survival rates/quality of life. He didn't push any tests or any treatment plan and let me choose, making it clear that if the chosen plan doesn't work out we can fall back on the others (ie - if I can't get Yuna to take the oral pills, etc). We also discussed how we would see remission or if Yuna is better. He was totally patient with all my questions and did a good job explaining the situation if you ask me. Yuna got the required tests and nothing more. In hindsight, I wouldn't have minded even getting comprehensive bloodwork at this point but I think this is a testament to the hospital not trying to run up bills in our case. Yuna was out pretty quickly afterwards. And, Dr. Farrelly noticed me in the lobby with the other furbaby parents even giving me an update when he didn't have to. All in all, we have not started the chemo treatment yet. Yuna has decided she is unhappy taking her steroids with churu right now so trying to get back on that before we start chemo but I feel like we have a good oncology team on our side - that is not only knowledgeable but compassionate. read more

My dog was puking puddles of opaque blood and receptionist wrote "Low Risk" on my intake form. Waited nearly 2 hours and my dog had lost a lot of fluid and they never offered any water. I asked if I could take my dog home and wait from there since I live 2 blocks away. Pink haired receptionist laughed at me for even asking (??) instead of simply saying no. I ended up leaving after waiting 2 hours without being seen since I could not wait any longer. Receptionist Jonathan A. wore face mask on his chin ie was not wearing a mask. PET OWNERS BEWARE! Took my dog in to have an anal gland tumor removed. Despite Blue Pearl's response their billing does not add up. Furthermore when I brought my dog in prior to surgery she was a happy dog who could walk. After surgery this is what blue Pearl gave back to me...a semi paralyzed dog and a $7200 bill which not only was riddled with what could only be described as fraudulent billing (devil is in the details) but their bedside manner and responsiveness as one of their doctors so eloquently put it when we expressed our concern for our now paralyzed dog he responded by stating "I don't have time for this." Moreover, now a week later the poor dog still has paralysis that they cannot fully explain and her incision has fully opened up. They are horrible. They destroyed my dogs quality of life and frankly are only in it for money. Guess that's what you get when a multinational company I.e., Mars, Inc decides to get into veterinary care (that's their mother company.) Below is a video of our poor pup Lola who now cannot even really walk. Today we are taking her to our regular vet as we would rather take her there than subject her to the butchery of Blue Pearl. When my dog was diagnosed with cancer, I was told that Blue Pearl was the place to bring her. Blue Pearl performed surgery and then radiation, and the experience was hellish. My dog was euthanized because, after I spent upwards of $60,000 on treatment, the oncologists at Blue Pearl said they didn't have time to see her when she grew worse. I begged, I cried on the phone. They didn't care. She died without medication and in excruciating pain because the oncology staff decided they were too busy to see a dying dog. If I had the time and if my heart weren't still so broken, I would sue this place. Please don't bring your pets here for cancer treatment. I don't know how the other departments are, but oncology is full of uncaring monsters. read more

Wildly expensive and let my dying dog stay in ICU for two days rather than putting her down quickly. They were very kind and had a special room for us to take her to put her down in our own time and in our arms, but MAN it cost nearly 6 grand to have my dog die! I called to find out if there was a long wait, and to see if this really was an emergency (which of course they couldnt know over the phone!) - and was told the wait was two to three hours, but if I suspected something bad I should come in. I got there and while there was only one family in the waiting area, I could see the consult rooms were occupied. When I said something was wrong f with my cat and I wanted to make sure there was no obstruction they took him downstairs within two minutes! The vet tech returned a few minutes later, with my cat, to advise there was no obstruction, he had a slightly elevated temp but otherwise all vitals were good and it would be a three hour wait to see a vet. I asked if it was felt my cat needed to be seen that day (Sunday) or could he wait until his regular vet opened in Monday - advising that of course I would pay for the triage. The tech consulted with a vet who agreed we could wait until Monday and there was no charge! I was stunned (in a good way). He did indeed make it to the next day and is hopefully now in his road to recovery. I admit that while I have always gotten excellent care at Blue Pearl, I have always considered them more corporate and profit oriented. Sunday convinced me otherwise. Thank you! read more

This office does not give appropriate care to its patients. I have dealt with them for two months and for 2 weeks I had to call the office 5-6 times to get a call back regarding blood work and next steps for our pet who has cancer. When our doctor was on PTO, they did not leave the care to another doctor - they neglected the care. Our pet had been without chemo medication for 3 weeks. When we finally did get a call back from the doctor, he did not have the most updated chart even though 1 hour prior I was assured that he received the appropriate information. The doctor then proceeded to give a recommendation based on an outdated chart, and said we could call back to confirm which medication route we opted for. When we called to get the medication, no one was available again and we received no call back the next day. I called yet again and the oncology department is unavailable Friday through the weekend, though the manager offered to message the doctor via his personal email. We do not trust that this will get done based on our experiences there, so we have opted to go back to our primary care vet for care. I asked for a refund, but they refuse. $600 for our visit and we received blood work that had to be forwarded to our regular vet to be interpreted because it is nearly impossible to get hold of our doctor (or any oncologist in the office). If I just needed blood work, I would have saved the hassle and gone to our regular vet. Do not waste your time, money, and pet's health on this place. We came here for a specialist in oncology, but we have received mostly neglect and our pet suffered. read more

We had the hardest week of our lives last week. Our beautiful Paisley girl suddenly got sick and we ended up losing her on Christmas Day. From the start, we were welcomed in quickly after being transferred from the VEG group in Chelsea. Dr. Nathanson and the entire care team treated our girl with the upmost respect and love. Zero stars if possible. I had a terrible experience with Blue Pearl - I took my dog for an oncology consultation on 4/16. Doctor told me to do Imprimed, dropped 3k there for test/consultation. The sample was not good enough, Imprimed let the doctor know the next day 4/17 and I was never contacted to get another sample or anything else. I called Blue Pearl 6-7 times from Monday to Thursday this week and every time was informed that results were not out and that Dr. Ferrelly would call me back. I thought it was strange and contacted Imprimed myself on 4/25. They were very apologetic but informed me they they were waiting to hear back from the doctor since 4/17. The doctor knew the sample was not viable and never contacted me. After I had a fit, I heard from the doctor for a minute at most saying he didn't think it was indolent lymphoma and that I should start CHOP. He didn't tell me anything else, my vet tried contacting him too and never heard back. We lost close to two weeks and got no test results. I made them reimburse the test, but still wasted precious time and money on the consultation for nothing apparently, and now need to find an oncologist asap bc precious time was wasted by blue Pearl. read more

If expecting prep instructions prior to an ultrasound, and if expecting the vet/radiologist to be aware of a prior ultrasound from less than a year ago and comparing the 2 results to be an example of "working tirelessly to provide best care" I guess we have different ideas as to what it means to provide best care. I also consider a vet not saying anything to me about how to feed my dog in order to treat her GI issues, and then saying in her notes that we discussed this, very dishonest behavior. read more

I have only good things to say about the nurses I met at BluePearl. I never met a doctor. I spoke to 2 different ones but both times I was there, they weren't able to come speak with me. The place is incredibly expensive - so unless you have pet insurance or own a hedge fund, be prepared. The going rate for 1 night for a non-terminal cat (spoke to some others in the waiting room) seems to be $8000. I got off for a little less than that, so I guess I'm lucky but . . . the communication with the office staff, medical staff and daytime/nightime is so poor, basic questions (has the blood been sent to the lab?) get answered more ways than you think is possible and the answer ends up: "No and it's your fault because you "declined" to pay" (No I didn't I was told not to pay the amount over my estimate because it was being reviewed) . . . so that's a headscratcher. It's a shame, because I can see how many of the people there really cared about the animals. But the systemic problems (very expensive, incorrect discharge notes, estimates that are wildly off ) made my experience really difficult. Good luck with your animals! read more

Doctors are nice and very communicative but I cannot say that are knowledgeable. So more exams are necessary. Thus, the bill goes up to few thousands $ easily. 6200 in my case. My cat got a breathing problem. So I took him to this location. I also mentioned that there were some skin bumps which appeared recently when talking to a doctor. What they focused is only the breathing problem, but if you search, it is easy to find it was eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangitis which could affect any organ. They continue saying that the cause is unknown until the lab would sent the result from the sample they got from my cat's lung. Anyway doctors today really need to learn how to gather more information of the symptoms not only stick to a major one because most disease have multiple symptoms. But thank you for helping my cat at least. read more

We took our dog in who was urinating blood that was clotted at times. We had seen our regular vet earlier in the day who suspected an UTI. However, the amount of blood and clotting got worse, so we decided to go to BluePearl. Dr. Davis was very methodical in her diagnostic approach and through the right tests established Immune-mediated thrombocytopenia with Lyme disease as likely cause. We were started on steroids and doxy and our dog improved significantly over the next 24 - 48 hours. We are happy with the care we received, and Dr. Davis followed up with us a few days later as well. Emergency care at BluePearl is not cheap but our dog got the care he needed and is doing very well now. read more

I don't even have to the words to describe what an awful experience I had a Blue Pearl on 55th street. I bought my dog to the emergency hospital last night for a condition called bloat, that could be very dangerous if not treated immediately. When I arrived, my pet was brought downstairs immediately. There was no triage and no one came to ask me what was wrong with my pet. After waiting almost 45 minutes with no update, I approached the front desk. One of the women at the desk went downstairs to get an update, and at the same time one of the technicians told me that the doctor has not been able to see him yet. One nurses then came up and told me that there were two other cases that were more important, and there was only one doctor available. I mentioned that there could be serious repercussions if bloat isn't treated immediately, and asked when he will be seen. If they were not able to see him soon, I would bring him to another hospital. The nurse said that bloat is a very dangerous condition and didn't recommend me bringing him to another hospital - let me get this straight he's too critical to get immediate attention somewhere else but not critical enough to be seen by someone at Blue Pearl? I told them if the doctor isn't able to see him in the next 15 minutes, I would like to bring him elsewhere. Two minutes later the nurse came back with my dog and handed him to me and told me the doctor isn't sure when he'll be seen. I ended up at another emergency room where he was seen immediately, however there are now potential long term consequences because he wasn't treated immediately. Please don't take your pet to Blue Pearl! The staff was rude, the hospital is unequipped to deal with several emergencies at once, and the manager just tried to make excuses for the lack of response. All they needed to do when I arrived was tell me that they weren't able to see my dog immediately and suggest I go elsewhere. read more

I've bit my tongue for a year now since the passing of my dog under the care of a few doctors there, because of how flippantly my family and I were treated on the most painful day any pet owner should ever experience. My senior dog developed pneumonia from complications from chemotherapy for his cancer. It was already difficult to bring him regularly for the sessions, but when the last session tanked his white blood cells, he started to struggle with his breathing and I was advised to admit him overnight in an oxygen cage. When I asked how often I could check up on him, I was told to call once at night and to check up on him in the morning. That already was off putting as he was in critical care and I didn't feel like I had permission to check up on my own pup. Unfortunately, in the middle of the night, we received the dreadful call: The doctor suggested euthanasia due to respiratory distress. The problem wasn't the situation, as my dog was battling an aggressive cancer and most likely didn't have much longer whether or not he had pneumonia. But the tone in which I was spoken to by the doctor felt devoid of any empathy and care while they pushed for me to come in to euthanize him, felt like I wasn't being heard, or as if this doctor has not owned a pet. I wanted to exhaust all options before doing so, and asked for the final attempt while I made my way to the clinic in my car. When I arrived, nothing had been done as discussed on the phone. I wanted one more try, and they went ahead after trying to talk me out of it because "it would be $2,400.00." I wish that option was exercised earlier, as it did show improvement for the next few hours. Unfortunately he passed a few hours after I returned home. I received a phone call asking for permission to stop CPR, which I gave them, but I didn't even see the doctor who treated him when I arrived back at the clinic 30 minutes after his death, which I felt was the right thing to do. What really was (sarcastically) really the icing on the cake to a painfully difficult night was the receptionist. I will never in my life understand why Blue Pearl would hire a person like this to work in the afterhours at an emergency animal hospital. She was silent (she didn't say a single word out to me, but she was able to when she was on the phone) and passive aggressive. Everytime I spoke to her; from the moment I walked in to ask to see my dog, to telling her to update the doctor downstairs while I would step out for a breather, or when I asked for water. It was as if I was asking her to do me too many favors the entire night in an empty lobby. Her eye rolls and sighs ... I still don't understand why anyone like this would be working at any job, let alone with people who are often in a vulnerable place. I received a very apathetic "Sorry for your loss" card from the oncology team over a month later. read more

After my beloved senior cat came down with two types of cancer and heart failure, she became a patient for 7.5 months at BluePearl, where we spent more than $20,000 out-of-pocket on her care. There were a few big pros and cons that we experienced. Pros: 1) Availability: BluePearl was able to see my cat. Every other specialty clinic in NYC had a months-long wait list. BluePearl's oncology dept fortunately had an opening and was able to see her. When she came down with heart failure a few weeks later, their cardiology dept was also able to see her, which was much appreciated. 2) Scheduling: BluePearl was able to schedule appointments so we could wait while our cat was seen, rather than drop her off and come back later. This was very helpful since it took us over an hour each way to get to their office. 3) Care: The treatment my cat received did seem to prolong her life and give us precious extra months with her that we probably would not have been able to have otherwise. Cons: 1) Poor communication: At virtually every appointment the doctor would tell us we would receive a call back on a certain day/time about our cat's latest lab results. These calls were almost always 1 to 3 days late and often required us proactively reaching out, adding stress and anxiety. On several occasions after not receiving the promised call, I called the office to request emailed copies of our cat's results and was told I was "not allowed" to see the results until the doctor called - even though it was the doctor's fault that I was calling for the results in the first place. 2) Concerning mix-ups: On several occasions, the two specialists we were seeing seemed to be confused about who had done what, and what my cat's current diagnosis was. This included thinking that part of her heart failure had resolved when it had not, and thinking that she had had a certain heart procedure already when she had not. This made us question whether the doctors were really paying attention to our cat and keeping track of her care. On another occasion, we brought our cat in for a check-up only to learn that one of the things she was scheduled for (ultrasound to check the cancer's progression) wasn't actually happening because the ultrasound person wasn't even working that day. 3) Difficulty in ordering meds: Getting refills for my cat's 5 prescriptions was a hassle every single time. The last time I ordered meds for her, in a single day it took NINE phone calls between BluePearl and BestPetRX and EIGHT emails with BluePearl to refill meds that my cat had been on for 6 months to over a year. 4) Office environment and service: The waiting room has a TV blaring, plus receptionists playing 1-2 different types of music at their desks. The noise pollution makes trying to relax impossible. The receptionists also seem unprepared to actually accommodate animals: after spending 1+ hrs in the car getting to BluePearl, I would always ask for a litterbox because our cat was a frail, sick senior who was on meds that made her pee even more than usual. Despite this being a veterinary clinic, it usually took forever for the front desk staff to get a litterbox (and even then, it was just a tiny paper tray). On two occasions, the front desk staff simply said there was no litterbox available. Summary: I'm very thankful that BluePearl was able to see my cat. I wish, though, that the doctors and staff had the bandwidth to provide better communication and smoother, more empathetic and detail-oriented care that acknowledges their patients and their owners as individuals. read more

A terrible experience and I will never go back. A couple of years back I brought my old cat in to them when he began to have trouble breathing over the weekend. Given his age, I was prepared for the worst. They sent him home with a bill for over $1000, and told me that medication would deal with the issue. The next day was worse and I took him in and was immediately asked by a tech to sign off on over $6000 for "treatment" which had no diagnosis. I didn't want to prolong my cat's pain unnecessarily and demanded diagnosis, but was repeatedly told to sign off on the $6000+ bill. The money was all that seemed to matter to them. I stood my ground, demanded a vet and then insisted on diagnosis. That got me actionable information, and I chose to put my cat to sleep saving him pain and me a fortune vs their plan. Even then, I was billed several hundred dollars more than I had been led to expect for some ridiculous "de luxe" cremation and plaster paw print, which I had not agreed to. I complained to the company, and was told that their own internal review had found that they acted appropriately (surprise, surprise). I told my vet that I would never use bluepearl again. Given what was found the second day, my cat should have been diagnosed the first and saved pain and suffering. The only thing I felt they cared about was maximizing my bill at every step. read more

I am so disappointed with the price gouging here. We were referred to an internal medicine vet after our usual vet could not find a solution for our dog. This vet was able to run more sensitive urine tests to find a UTI that wouldn't go away. A urine test here costs $400, which ok, maybe it's more sensitive. I know they ship it to a speciality lab in TX. But then, after a round of pill antibiotics didn't kick it, we moved to a shot antibiotic. 30-days of that cost us $1500. We had to purchase it in intervals as we waited for some results that never came. So in the end, I realized I was given and (purchased) too much of this medication they cannot take back. Now to date, I have given this place at least $5000 for 3 rounds of UTIs And of course, My dog has another UTI, literally has only been 3 weeks since last round of antibiotics. But she's old, so it's tough to get her healthy. Clearly it's recurrent. Fine. I go pick up another prescription pills- $325. When I get home I see it's $41 on Chewy. Yes. They made the price 100x's. This is utter madness. I feel scammed. read more

I brought in a very sick, tiny, 14-year old Aby with a number of issues. She was immediately taken to emergency care and was seen by a doctor within minutes. She spent 3 days in the hospital and received the most amazing, thorough care, as did I - and I was extremely emotional. I thought I was going to lose her. When I came to visit her the next day, they had brought her back to life. Everyone I came in contact with was so kind to me and to her. I have complete confidence in the doctors. I took my shih tzu Lucy to see Dr. Jill Abraham as Lucy has skin allergies, and Dr. Abraham was exceptionally thorough, diligent, capable, pleasant, professional, and honest (e.g., she told me she could run certain recommended tests, but that the same tests could be run more inexpensively elsewhere; she was candid about what I could expect from Lucy's treatment; etc.). I received her discharge notes promptly (though Dr. Abraham apologized that they did not come even sooner!) and they were very detailed. She also seems very diligent about follow up. And the staff has been terrific. I recommend Dr. Abraham/Blue Pearl most highly. Alas, Lucy probably needs additional treatments, but I am completely comfortable returning to Dr. Abraham and indeed am very grateful to have found her. read more

Unfortunately had to go here on Sunday afternoon with my moms aging sick cat. An animal emergency during a pandemic is not a pleasant experience, but the vets at Blue Pearl did everything they could to help. Dr Yoshida was incredible and kind. They ran tests on our cat and let us know while she was declining she was not acutely ill at the moment so we brought her home. Unfortunately phoebe cat kept declining and we had to put her to sleep a few days later- but in the interim I called Dr Yoshida for advice several times and she was endlessly kind and informative. Can not recommend them enough- even if we all hope not to need an emergency vet. read more

Celebrated Christmas this year with our furry friend thanks to a life saving surgery performed by the surgeon back in October. She's healed up wonderfully! Thought we'd share the photo of her on the couch after she fell asleep waiting for Santa. Only downside of this veterinary facility is the high cost but it's Manhattan so it's basically expected. read more

We received truly great care for our dog Bodie from Blue Pearl Midtown during his fight with cancer. He had frequent trips to the ER as well as chemo treatments and got to know the staff and the doctors very well. He came in during a scary emergency in the middle of the night and they worked quickly enough to diagnose him and get him started with chemo later the same day. The doctors were extremely patient in talking through care options with us (at all times of the day). The medical team was on top of tailoring his medical care as his needs changed. He was very comfortable there even going through painful experiences and longer stays, which always made us feel better. During the later stages of his care, the staff was sweet enough to send him home with a stuffed monkey. This gesture was not only incredibly kind but brought some joy to his last few days. When it was time to say goodbye, we felt supported by the team at Blue Pearl without feeling any pressure from either direction. The remembrances we received in the wake of his passing were heartfelt and sincere, and indicative of the care he received. We will not forget the real, true care he received from the numerous doctors and nurses and front desk at Blue Pearl.
