All the Yelp reviews were correct! The service is outstanding, even with a party of 10! The Bluewater oysters were good, the she crab soup was tasty and the Bluewater platter was yummy. The tarter sauce had good flavor and the house salad dressing was great. We left happy and full. Everyone loved their meals. Definitely a must do if in the area.

It would be easy to overlook the Bluewater and dismiss it because it is attached to a gas station. That would be a mistake. This is a fun and delicious place to enjoy fresh seafood, and we look forward to bringing all our out of town guests here! We had the shrimp and grits (unusual to have spinach and mushrooms, but the Gouda grits and sauce were spot on). The Lorenzo's catfish was a huge flavor sensation. Our server was attentive without hovering and made sure our drinks were topped off. The rolls! So yummy with butter and garlic topping! We got a piece of key lime pie to go (kind of small but very rich). I already know what I'm trying next time!

Food was delicious, even the sides!

Saw many recommendations for Bluewater Grill by locals, and it is very good. Next time, I'll go for some oysters and crab claws. Saw other people getting them and humming, they were so good. Our server, Terry, was friendly and efficient while juggling multiple parties. Hope she's there when we go back! Note that prices have gone up since their menu was last posted, but not ridiculously, and where hasn't that happened in Columbus recently?

Regularly travel to Columbus on business and have eaten at most of the restaurants here. Including Mabellas, Saltcellar and other well known downtown ones. If you are looking for seafood, this is it. Nothing even comes close. It is my favorite go to place for comforting yet healthy food with a very lovely, friendly ambience and nice people all around . The chargrillled oysters with jalapenos , bacon and a drop of their home made hot sauce are heavenly, as is the shrimp pompano . The grouper is done fried, blackened and my favorite - a thin, flour dusted pan sauteed version. The she crab soup so reminds me of some places near the Indian rocks beach in Florida. Extremely fresh and truly the coast coming to the heartland. Very well stocked bar and a good collection of drafts and cans to choose from and pair with the seafood.

Looked to be about six tables occupied with guests. Walked up to register. No one there. However, one gentleman, while making food spoke and said it would be just a moment. Then some lady comes up from behind and asks what I need. I ordered the salad bar as I always do. She gives me the amount, I pay, she hands me the change and nothing else. No counting back my change from the hundred dollar bill, no thank you, nothing. Walk to the end. Guy asks what I need. I said I ordered the salad bar. Had the ticket in hand. He puts the plates on tray and hands them to me. No thank you, no have a nice day, nothing. Salad bar was excellent. I will say that. Jason's is one of my favorite places because salad is my favorite food. While I sat and ate, I looked around. Most of the tables were dirty, floors were dirty, tables and chairs in disarray and yet, no more than six tables in there. The employees, with the exception of the above mentioned I spoke of look like a scene from the Walking Dead. Should Frank Darabont ever need to cast again, I would suggest starting in Columbus, GA at Jason's Deli. Complete misery on their faces. No greetings, no smiles, no communication, nothing. I am giving it three stars only because the salad bar was great but doubtful I'll be back while I'm here. Have a great day!!

We ordered a couple of their specialty salads and were not disappointed. They were packaged to go but we ended up dining in. See photo for cute to-go pic. There was a complimentary water station with 2 offerings: a cucumber water and a ginger infused water. I never had ginger water before and i really liked it! My Bouncing Blueberry salad tasted as fresh as i expected, it was chock full of ingredients and very filling. I highly recommend this veteran-owned business and supporting their mission of spreading preventative health education thru food.

You literally can make limitless combos to have your salad exactly as you want. All dressings are made in-house, which is pretty impressive. You can order a rice bowl with ingredients, too. The portions are beyond generous (a small salad would be considered large elsewhere) and the array of ingredients and toppings is exceptional. On my first visit, I ordered a small spinach salad with grilled salmon. As toppings, I added chopped red onion, shredded carrot, pineapple, mandarin oranges, blueberries, chopped strawberries, chopped beet, blue cheese, sliced avocado, dried cranberries with their in house made raspberry vinaigrette. It was literally one of the most delicious salads I've ever had. I was so stuffed from the generous portion that I didn't need dinner. On my second visit, I got a veggie wrap with grilled chicken, chickpeas, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, shredded carrot, blue cheese, sliced avocado. I got the in-house buttermilk ranch dressing on the side (and ended up not using it-sandwich was amazing without it). I was asked if I wanted chicken warmed (I didn't) and I was amazed at the skill of the preparer who was able to tightly wrap the ginormous quantity of ingredients into the wrap and halve it. I only ate half my sandwich so I have lunch for tomorrow. Win-win. The black cherry tarragon soda was so good as was the Italian lemon soda. Their soups sounded great as did their desserts. The staff was so friendly and helpful. (Don't forget to tip!) The tvs on the walls show cool food art being made. I'd come here and their Poke place at least twice a week for lunch if I lived locally. Prices are extremely reasonable for quality and quality of food.
