Overall the job was well done and the movers (Jo and Blue) very nice and worked very fast! The only thing I would say is that some screws from different furnitures fell during the move and they lost a couple of small things but nothing that I cannot replace. DO NOT LET BLVD MOVE YOU! I booked through Interstate Moving for a cross country move without knowing who the local carrier that would be moving my belongings across the country. The movers who came to pick up my boxes were great, and efficient, every other interaction since then have been detestable. They've lost a huge art piece of mine, 12x24 and have not been helpful in finding this. Their customer service is really the issue at hand, they do not call back when they say they will, there is little to no communication when you call about missing items and no accountability on their end. I wanna start this review off by saying I am not the typical entitled American consumer that often posts negative reviews about businesses. The ACTUAL movers, Mark and his associate were a two man crew. 10/10 would work with again. I don't want my negative review to impact them in anyway because these guys were awesome and did the best they could given the circumstances. They got royally screwed by whoever runs the office. We had too much stuff and these poor guys ended up working 10 hours plus, straight with no reprieve. My Dad originally booked the move and was quoted $750 for four hours of labor. My Dad was both promised and requested a walk through to get a more accurate estimate because he knew we had a lot of belongings. Once the move was passed over to me, and no one had reached out to me to schedule the walkthrough I reached out on my own and spoke with Matthew, who reassured me, "It's pretty standard to not do a walkthrough for a local move. You're less than 30 minutes away. Even if you had more stuff than what was originally put on the inventory list, it shouldn't drive the price up so much." My father called once again, and spoke with Rosa, saying how he thought it was disrespectful how he was promised a walkthrough in the beginning but now it was being blown off because I was assuming responsibility over the move. Cue a week before the move, I speak with Teo, who reassured me of the same things Matthew did. This was even after I added a bunch of furniture to the inventory list. I was reassured that this would not drive up the price. Day of the move, Mark walks into our apartment "You guys have way too much stuff. I don't know why the office didn't schedule you a walkthrough, this is going to drive up the price indefinitely. I doubt that the office will send a third guy, but you can try asking for one." Both me and my Dad call the office and speak with Ahmed/Ahmad, no courtesy is given to our situation. We're passively told, "Oh these guys work very fast. 5/6 hours tops. Worse case scenario you end up paying $1250." Ten, almost eleven hours later, I am out of pocket $1400 and am looking to pay more because these poor guys still aren't done. Avoid this moving company at all costs. They reel you in with their self assured sales reps and will fuck you over first chance they get. I hope all of these peoples toenails grow inward. I am disgusted at the lack of understanding, lack of concern, the complete and utter novices they have manning their front desks. This moving company has disappointed us greatly. I write this review as I continue to wait for my things to be shipped. This company told us our things would be delivered between 5-21 days. We received no calls or updates from the company so on the 14th day of waiting we called our moving coordinator and she said she would give us a call back later with an update, but that never happened. We had to reach out again two days later and were then told that 21 days meant 21 business days (never clarified prior) and we were reassured our things would be on the truck and heading our way the following week with a tentative delivery date on the 15th business day. No such luck. Called again and now were told our things would be shipped out over a weekend (yeah right, a holiday weekend no less). The man (James) responsible for securing you in a contract is the only one doing his job well and that's the only reason I'm giving a star. Other than him, there is no communication, updates, or attempt at making things right between company and customer. We are 100% sure our items will not be here in 21 days, and want to warn everyone who may need their things sooner or want a more communicative team to avoid this company. We were also told nothing is sub contracted out to smaller companies, but that was untrue. The man who came to pick up our things told us he worked with several different moving companies and he was not a direct employee of BLVD Moving. If zero stars was an option that would be it!! Buyer beware, they are extortionist!!! We were quoted $600 for 4 hours. Booked for 2 - 2 bedroom units in the same complex to one unit 15 minutes away. Started at 9;45 am, took over 2 hours on the first unit, everything for the second unit was already on the footpath ready to go. As they were not moving anyway quickly.of efficiently, so we started to help. Took less than 40 minutes Got to the new unit approx 15 minutes away, they unloaded a few items, stating the elevator was slow. We told them to just unload e everything into the garage or sidewalk, as we still had almost an hour and we could take it up. At 1:15 with 30 minutes still on the clock and said unless we agreed to pay for additional hours, they would stop working, they wanted 4 ADDITIONAL hours!! We went over and back for 45 minutes, while they where holding our items hostage and refusing to take anything off the truck It took 45 minutes to get hold of anyone in the office and guess what!! That was on our dime!! Even though 30 minutes we.already paid for!! It cost 300 extra to get our items off the truck . Disgusting business practices and it appears that because they are dealing with 2 young girls, they can take advantage. I entered into a contract with BLVD Moving (US DOT 2892909) on 5/17/2025 to move household items on 5/21/2025 from a storage facility in North Hollywood, CA 91605 and with an additional stop in Los Angeles, CA 90034 that were to be moved on a truck leaving CA that week to Miami, Florida to be stored at their partner storage facility at 3593 N.W. 19th Street, Lauderdale Lakes, Florida 33311 for 30 days free storage to then be delivered by BLVD Moving on the afternoon of Monday, June 16 between 1-4pm and/or Tuesday morning June 17 between 9-noon to Miami, FL 33130 in order to comply with the elevator reservation required at the destination. This is all in writing. Futhermore, BLVD Moving says that conversations are recorded so this should be able to be confirmed by audio recordings as well. BLVD Moving did not move the items to Miami in the time frame promised. After approximatley 60 phone calls the week of June 16, we were finally informed that the truck had recently left CA and was only in Texas. I had taken off work the week of June 16 to meet the moving truck in Miami. Not only did I waste my vacation time, I incurred the expense of an airline ticket and travel expenses. I left multiple emails and phone calls the week prior to June 16 to confirm that the truck was scheduled to arrive on time. Never did anyone contact me regarding an issue. I was ghosted. The mailboxes of employees at BLVD are constantly full. I also found out that employees use different names so "Helen" and "Tina" are actually the same employee. The items did not arrive until July 1, and they were delivered by a different moving company. I have in writing that BLVD would be the company delivering the goods. And, I had to pay $150 extra as the day of their July 1 delivery as the closest freight elevator to the apartment was broken. It was working perfectly on June 16 and June 17. The company (Ocean) that did the delivery required additional payment before agreeing to unload any of my items from their truck. I was fraudulently sold services that were not delivered upon by BLVD Moving. DO NOT USE. And, put an air tag in a box for any move you so you can see where your stuff actually is. read more

They charge double during the transportation between locations and the truck disappears with your items so you have no idea when they will arrive or if everything will still be intact. They took care to wrap the couch in plastic and hauled everything away efficiently and with care. Here it is, months later and I still do not have 3 of my boxes. They don't care. They told me to file a claim because they gave my boxes to another customer. Well, I filed a claim but am not signing it. They are using excuse after excuse not to pay. Now they claim it was due to lack of help due to the covid virus. The covid virus was Federally ended on May 11, 2023, therefore their excuse is not valid. And, there is no law stating they can extend the compensation (verified by the FMCSA). The company is a scam! I scheduled an unload of my truck on 11/21/22. They supposedly assigned Ivan plus one other person to show up. I spoke to their dispatch at least a half dozen times the previous two days. The day of the work, no one showed up during the committed time. Of the two people that were scheduled, one showed up half an hour past the committed time and the other I was told said that this was a waste of his time and not worth doing. I'm not sure how Blvd moving does their work but this was wholly unacceptable. I would love a response back from them but it looks like they are now not answering my calls. Oh and here is one other note, at the end, they requested I pay the full quoted amount even though they met almost zero part of their commitment. Once we signed the contract, they disappeared for a few weeks did not respond to over a dozen calls/voicemials. We didn't hear where our loaded truck was for over 3 weeks! Additionally, the items documented that the movers packed were exaggerated (as evidenced by our videos, pictures and confirmation of the load once the truck arrived). This is by far the worst moving company, no one should use them. They are great at taking your money , then adding additional fees once your items finally arrive. I was quoted a much lower price from another company but was told it would take 3 weeks to get my items , so I said no and called Blvd . I spoke with James and asked him how long it would take from California to Colorado and was told 3-5 days, after a week I called every day and was told they did not have a driver, no one ever called me, I spoke with Johnnie who was going to check and call me right back, that never happened. When my items finally did arrive weeks later, I was charged an additional $600.00 for a shuttle truck, in which a moving truck could of certainly fit, as the storage facility was in an open lot . They didn't even know anything about the area in which the storage place was at and just assumed the truck would not fit. When they finished unloading , my wardrobe boxes were missing and were on another truck, in which I had to wait another 45 minutes at the storage facility where they were unloading for them to arrive. We're a TWO-day drive away from Cali, not on the East coast. It was a TERRIBLE experience working with them. They also LOST one of our boxes! BOBBY quoted us one number. We signed the contract and the quote kept going up. My mom spoke with THEO and MARITZA, their Spanish salespeople, they lied to her and said their company could install her fridge and washing machine, turns out their movers couldn't do that at all. Our stuff arrived, boxes were broken, one of our televisions was also broken, and our fridge was also scratched up. That was another issue I kept encountering with them, they told my mom one thing and told me the complete opposite. During the midst of this process, it was also hard to get a hold of them. My mom kept calling them and they wouldn't pick up. PLUS, we had to keep calling them to get an ETA for our things. I want to file a claim, but their documentation states THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for damages done to electronics, fridges, etc. If your stuff is broken, it's because of the road. Basically, they've done everything to prevent taking responsibility for the DAMAGES THEY CAUSED. Also, I've been calling to leave a complaint and no one picks up the phone. I REALLY want to complain to the SALES DIRECTOR, their team did a terrible job. If you're going to yell at anyone, do NOT yell at customer service because they are not the ones who arranged all of this, it was the sales team (Bobby, Theo, and Maritza) and dispatchers who made a mess of things. Honestly, it felt like they took advantage of our situation. We signed the contract and they could care less afterward. They mishandled our stuff, played with their delivery window, and had minimal contact. Do your research and plan ahead if you move. AVOID using them. READ all of the negative reviews. I'd give this a zero star if I could. Terrible unethical company. For those that are reading the reviews deciding whether or not to use their services. Please don't. The sales rep told me I had nothing to worry about. It's been 3.5 weeks since move in date. They did tell me I needed to wait 4 weeks max but here's the real issue. They were SO responsive during the process of selling me their services. Following up with me nonstop. All of a sudden I have questions about my stuff and it's nowhere to be found. I called dispatch and they gave me a very brief response saying it's on the way. They told me it was on the way on August 17th and it's now August 30th with no call from a driver. Then I asked dispatch to call the driver as I worked in the industry and they said it's on the way and that they cannot call the driver. Sales rep has still yet to get back to me. I will make sure my friends never use this company in the future. I hope you guys read this and decide to choose another company instead. Pretty sure BLVD Moving is a giant ponzi scheme. I was set up with BLVD via American Moving Solutions and boy did they scam me!!!!! I'm already getting my blood sucked out financially and this moving company has completely drained me. Where do I even start... 1) LOST MY STUFF? And gave me someone else's items? I got an entire box of stuff that wasn't mine, no idea who it belongs to. They lost a wardrobe sized box of my items that is pretty much just... somewhere now. But it's definitely not with me. 2) Took forever to dispatch my items. I moved cross-country and they got annoyed with me when I kept asking if they were going to send my stuff out soon. They said they'd refund $30 each day they were late, but I never got it. I was promised that I'd get my items delivered literally two months before they actually came. 3) OVERCHARGED ME??? I'm lucky my company reimbursed my move for the most part, but they just kept adding and adding and adding additional charges. 4) Shitty customer service, you know the drill My fault for not reading yelp... granted it was my first experience with a moving company. Similar experience to other folks here. We moved back in summer, I was pretty angry with them at the time. So I waited to cool down before writing a review here. The good: As far a timeliness went they were fine for me. They were also polite and flexible when we got hit with some curveballs. The bad: Although they were all very nice we had several problems. A number of broken items that were improperly packed by their movers. Not enough packing material in several boxes. We took the more sensitive stuff ourselves, so nothing critical was lost. Mostly dishes and glasses. On the packing day they wanted $1000 cash to pay the movers. This was not disclosed in advance. Coming up with that cash on a Sunday was less than ideal. We were ready for that on the unpacking side. NOTE: This was not an attempt to scam us for more money. The total price was as agreed. The big problem was they vastly underestimated the amount of space in the truck that we would need. Over the phone I told their rep several times that I had not used movers before, and thought we would need 20-25% more truck space than they were estimating. The rep talked me out of that saying they had a lot of experience and going larger would be a waste of my money. Since they are the professionals I let him talk me out of the extra space. There was not nearly enough space on the truck when they came. There was no offer of getting another truck or more space. End result I had to make 5-6 cross state 1300 mile round trip drives to get all the stuff they left behind. I ended up with some minor back problems that took a few weeks to resolve after all that. Overall it was a pretty negative experience. I'd recommend avoiding this business, I will not be using them again. read more

I'm sad to say that I've done a lot of research about moving companies and tried to avoid falling into their "traps" but this company found every way possible to make the already stressful process of moving even worst. We had sent them photos of our furniture prior to moving, to make sure they won't change the price on us (which seems to be a trick moving companies do!) However, on the day they showed up to pick up our furniture, they claimed there is "not enough square feet claimed on the order" for our furniture. I explained we sent photos and measurements ahead of time? but the guy on site said the salesperson on the phone didn't add enough space (not my problem as the customer!!) but a way for them to try and extort more money- Our quote went from $4k to over $7k... somehow. $3000 difference! We were told they would bring all the packing materials, at no extra charge, all the sudden they said they need to pack our TV and certain furniture and it will be additional $75 a piece!!! I asked why this was not communicated before? since we sent pictures, but of course they had no good answer (bait and switch tactic at its finest). Dishonestly and lack of transparency. After hours of arguing on the phone with their office, being hung up by their rude staff (Robert), we finally told them to kindly leave and that we were going to order a pod. We were not willing to all the sudden add extra $3k when they knew exactly what we had ahead of time. On their way out - their boss called and said he will "honor the original price". Ghee thanks! After SO MUCH ARGUING and hours wasted at that point. They originally said delivery normally would take 5-7 days to arrive. Turns out- it's 21 days from the date you're available to accept the furniture. This was not communicated to us- they made it sound like 21 days is a rare situation- we ended up being without our stuff for 20 business days. Terrible, misleading communication on their end. AFTER 20 DAYS, when they finally were willing to deliver our stuff- They sent only one person (to deliver a 3 bedroom house)!!! and an older gentleman who was the driver. It was like watching your grandpa carrying heavy furniture, truly sad, didn't make sense and shouldn't have happened. Another example of their lack of professionalism, and absurdity. Furthermore, they showed up to our residential neighborhood with a huge SEMI!!! We have a regular size street, and a very big and wide yard and driveway, however they blamed our street and our driveway and said they now have to charge us extra because their truck (a SEMITRAILER!!!) can't make the turn into our driveway!!! Another way to extort money!! Who in their right mind with best intentions tries to deliver with a semitrailer to a residential neighbourhood!!!?!?! They lacked the ability to deliver, because they were too cheap to get the actual truck needed to make deliveries - and they blame it on the customer. The delivery guy tried convincing me that if I give him $200 he will carry all the stuff from the street up our driveway.. but his price kept changing.. it was like a HOSTAGE SITUATION negotiating the delivery of our furniture after we already paid good money for it. They ended up going to a local Uhaul to rent a truck that they can move all our stuff into and drive into the driveway.... talking about frustration and inefficiency... they tried lying and telling us the Uhaul will cost $250, then $300, when I called Uhaul it was only $75... lying thieves. Furthermore, the delivery guy and older driver were hungry!! They were asking me for food!!! I felt so bad for them, clearly this company wasn't treating them well. It was sad. The service we paid for initially said they are suppose to deliver the furniture to the designated rooms, put them back together if it was taken apart, and take out any packing trash left behind. It was already late and the guy by himself was miserable and clearly couldn't have gotten it all done by himself till midnight! so we told him to leave. We were now stuck with carrying it out ourselves and cleaning all the boxes and packing trash left behind.. MOST OF OUR FURNITURE WAS BROKEN!!!! Their moving blankets stained our white headboard, they BROKE BOTH bedroom nightstands, CRACKED our end table, cracked an end table, COMPLETELY BROKE our wardrobe, damaged our bench, and more.. THE WHOLE PROCESS FROM START TO FINISH WAS A NIGHTMARE!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY!!! We are so disheartened that we paid $7,000 for broken furniture that we now have to replace (and waited 20 days for!!!). The stress they caused us alone isn't worth it. VERY DISAPPOINTING. They missed items when they provided the quote, so when the movers showed up they had to add to the inventory. For 4 Queen beds, they don't count box mattress, they totally missed my couch and coffee table. So the $3900 quote ended up costing $8400. And when they told me first month free then $350 for storage, they didn't tell me that the storage cost would be more than double since there were more items in loving day. AND, when the movers asked me if I wanted to use the 3 wardrobe boxes for the pillows, blankets and clothing I was going to move myself, saying That they were included...they didn't tell me that they were going to charge me $487 when they helped me put those items in the boxes!! Nothing went seriously wrong for that one except they showed up about 4 hours later than original quoted by dispatch the day before the move. Otherwise, the two gentleman that showed up were great and worked well. Fast forward to now. I booked BLVD moving in April for another in-town move on Saturday 5/27/23. This was a nightmare. To begin, when I originally reached out in April. I called 4 separate times to get a quote and received no answer. I finally got through after about a week of trying. I spoke to a gentleman named Ahmad Maajid-Bey. He set everything up. Quoted me pricing and took my deposit. On Friday, 5/26/23, the day prior to our move, I was supposed to receive a call from BLVD's dispatch to give us our window for the movers arrival the next day. We received no call. I called BLVD that evening and was told that they had me on the schedule for tomorrow but weren't sure what window of time, and that they'd email dispatch to call me first thing in the morning. On the morning of 5/27/23, I woke up at 6 and immediately called dispatch and left a voicemail. I called dispatch every hour for the next 3 hours. I finally called BLVD's general number at about 9:30am and was advised dispatch was probably getting everyone organized in the yard and would call me soon. I called dispatch again about an hour later, and was told my move had been pushed to the following day. I asked why I had never been given any communication when I called Friday, and why no one had called me today. I was given no explanation except that they were trying to find someone to help me today. They said they'd call back soon. I never heard back from BLVD after this. They completely no-showed. I called back on Sunday and was told my move had been scheduled for 5/27/21... not 2023. I asked why I was told Friday that I was on the schedule. Again, no answer. The bottom line is this. BLVD is cheap. At no point did anyone apologize for not showing up. I had one decent experience with them and then one absolutely awful experience. Use them at your own risk. read more

Inexperienced kids quit after one hr on th e job 10am. Driver tried to get more staff. Dispatcher continued to promise. One awesome man arrived at 12pm another at 4:30Driver was disabled and not able to help!. Staff left at 8pm . Returned the next morning at 9am Started reassembling furniture, at 12 they were told they would no longer get paid, and was there any other furniture we wanted moved up stairs. They were leaving THIS is some of the mess that was left! We are 74 & 80yrs old! Broken office unit "is because of inexperienced staff". NO price justifies this kind of treatment read more

ABOSOLUTELY the WORST! Bate and switch pricing from $1800 to $2400 to $3300, held my belongings hostage until I paid it. It took over a month for them to schedule and deliver my belongings. Dishes and things broken. They "LOST"/ stole my big screen TV and my sons box of all his X box games, then tried to offer me $149 for the $3000 worth of belongings saying insurance was not included. They know they have you backed in a corner and take full advantage of that. The office also stopped taking my calls and would not return them when they didn't want to deliver my belongings. The movers seemed like decent guys, and accounting woman was nice, but do yourself a favor and get a POD and hire movers. These people will be out of business soon. read more

The worst moving company with the rudest employees. I won't get into my entire monologue, no one needs to hear that.. But what would be helpful are specific scenarios, so everyone can AVOID this company. First of all, Zoe from dispatch hung up on me several times as I was trying to A) provide them with my earliest receipt date B) get an understanding as to how to access my stored goods, as I was guaranteed Second, the quote that I was given ($3000) was pretty competitive for a 1100 sqft one story house, to move from LA to San Jose... Well I was duped, on the day of the move, the quote ended up being $6600, SURPRISE SURPRISE.. It was too late to turn the movers away, we were almost 100% packed up at that point, and had a real estate agent staging the home the next day, and we needed to get out. Third, dispatch didn't give me any timeframe nor window as to when my things would be delivered, but they reassured me that they'd call me back. I didn't hear from them for a week, and didn't get any call backs. I didn't have to wait 22 days like other people, but the movers didn't give us any heads up, and arrived on a Sunday. Finally, the last part was that the movers LOST the parts of my bed so I've been sleeping on my mattress on the floor, broke my clock and mugs.. And their claims department's voicemail is full.. This was my 12th move using a professional mover and it was a nightmare. First they changed the pickup day at the last minute (Tuesday from Wednesday). They said delivery would be Wednesday between 1 and 4. They didn't show up. Next day it was the same story. Finally on Friday at 6:30 a.m. I got a call that they would be here between 8 and 11:00 a.m. At 6:45 a.m. I received a call that they had arrived and were ready to unload. The delivery driver had not been informed that I had paid for a second delivery location. My antique tea cart had all of the legs broken off and couldn't be repaired. My 9 drawer dresser had one leg broken off, and it had been twisted so badly that the trim came off and two drawers won't close. I recommend that you use anybody but this company. The employees were very frustrated that they weren't kept in the loop and didn't know what was going on. read more

Didn't end up using them to move, but they have called me multiple times a day nonstop for the past 2 weeks. I would block one number and then they'd call me from another. It's so annoying! Do not request a quote unless you want to be hassled. read more

7 in 10 success rate! 7 pieces of furniture out of every 10 will be delivered relatively safe (some minor damage), and still in working condition. 3 pieces of furniture will be damaged and rendered useless, and you will need to them throw out. But don't hope for any resolution for anything damaged, going with BLVD means you will be out of luck! In late-June 2021, I used BLVD to move from San Jose to Los Angeles. The crew picking the furniture in San Jose were fine, efficient and careful. The crew of three dropping off the furniture were OK, one of the guys was quite lazy and only half-heartedly put the furniture back together. The guys took note of the damaged furniture on their delivery sheets, but refused to provide a copy of their note, nor let me take a photo of the notes they took. I only have photos of the damaged furniture. Anyway, the biggest concern is when you email or call to report damaged furniture and seek some resolution. Here's the process: · You need to submit a claim form · BLVD will not email you that claim form until you speak to someone from "Claims" · You cannot email "Claims" · You must call "Claims" but there is literally no number, you must call the main office and they transfer you · Whenever you are transferred, no one in "Claims" ever answers the phone · When I ask the people from the main office on how to resolve damaged furniture, they take no responsibility and merely transfer you to the "Claims" · Again, no one ever answers the phone at "Claims" and goes to voicemail · Voicemail at "Claims" is full and cannot take another message After calling BLVD in early July, I was told that Claims was likely on vacation for July 4 for two weeks, but will get back to me. Of course, no response two weeks so I called back mid-July. Again, no contact is made with "Claims". Eventually, someone from the main office said they emailed "Claims" and should take two weeks for someone from "Claims" to respond. So it's been over a month, and it's safe to say I'll never receive a response from "Claims" and I suspect "Claims" doesn't even exist. Shame because I would have gladly accepted a minor form of compensation, I wasn't looking to take advantage of the company. read more
