Solo lunch date on my day off! Was wandering around shopping all day and was starving by mid day. Stumbled into this beautiful place for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. Prawn mango salad was an absolute star. Very large meaty tiger prawns over a bed of fresh greens and juicy mangos to give it a slight sweetness. Paired exceptionally well with my lychee martini. A must try. Had some room left in my tummy, so had to try the famous garlic noodles with a skewer (added protein) and wow this was fantastic as well. Im normally unable to finish the garlic noodle dish myself as by mid dish the butteriness is too much, but the skewer gave it a perfect balance. Proud to say each dish was spot clean by lunch end. Definitely coming back . Noticed they have a Sunday brunch menu that I would love to try. See you soon Crustacean

Great food, amazing staff and pretty interior. Visited on a Friday night. Diana was our server and she was giving us so many suggestions. It was good for me especially because I am indecisive. They change the plate in between every dish. The garlic noodle and Dungeness crab was the highlight for me as it is their specialty. One of the server told us that there's a room in the kitchen that only few people can go in and make the noodle so the recipe will not leak. Crazy! The bill came out to be $600 for 3 people with 4 drinks just for your reference.

I like the Koi fish you see swimming underneath your feet. Probably my favorite thing about this restaurant. The mango prawn salad was good. We got their famous garlic noodles. Tasted pretty good. Their quantity is small but that's really all you need to eat to not overeat. Service was nice and our server was very friendly and helped with deciding what to order. Price is costly but its Beverly Hills, so what do you expect? Parked across the street in a structure.

My co-workers and I attended the World Hotel and travel agent event. They offered an open bar and many appetizer options. The event was held upstairs above the main dining area. The bartender was busy but most of us kept requesting the special drinks offered which were the Grand Mule and Lychee Martini. The appetizers that were offered were all delicious.

Crustacean Beverly Hills is a special place for me. My wife and I came here a long time ago when we first started dating. I asked her about the restaurant recently and we decided to come back for Valentine's Day. The return did not disappoint. I had the shaken beef with garlic noodles and it was excellent. The flavors were rich, the beef was tender, and the garlic noodles were exactly what I remembered. My wife had the tiger prawns with garlic noodles and loved her dish as well. Everything was really good. The food, the memories, and the atmosphere all came together for a great evening. Crustacean Beverly Hills is a full 5 stars for me.

I have been to 3 of their restaurants including the original Thành Long, which was the first in the House of An in SF. The ambiance of Beverly Hills is just different than San Francisco and a bit more boujee it seems. Nice venue, love the koi pond in the floor and how it flows through the restaurant. There were 4 of us and we ordered the tuna cigars, garlic noodles, garlic fried rice, green beans, bok choi and the garlic crab outside the shell. The food and service was amazing.

When we were in San Francisco my wife had been wanting to try Chef Ann's food at her restaurant there. But didn't get a chance coz we had another agenda on our visit to SF. Then a family member of my wife recently moved to Beverly Hills and that's when my wife saw that there's another restaurant owned by Chef Ann and it's CRUSTACEAN BEVERLY HILLS Of course, my wife got us a reservation right away. Chef Ann's restaurant is beautiful, with contemporary decor and a few Asian decorations. The moment the Menu was handed to us my wife was quick ordering so I just let her order since she had already ordered a lot of food. With all the food you see in my Pic upload here at Crustacean, the RIBS , the CRAB FRIED RICE, GARLIC NOODLES with WHOLE LOBSTER, and TUNA CIGARS are the ones that stood out for me. Everything was delicious but those are the ones I mentioned are the once I will get here again when we visit. Sean our server was cool. Parking is very easy, in front of the restaurant there's actually a public building parking or side street metered parking.

Beautiful place, romantic and lovely service. I had the Mongolian lamb, and it was great! We also had the garlic noodles which were good and were around $22. The garlic noodles were shareable for 2 people for one serving. The truffle chicken dumplings were very flavorful! Because of the location, expect to pay a little more overall. It was a really nice dining experience and definitely would go back!

We sat upstairs for the Lunar Year Celebration. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and the whole place just feels magical. Customer service was wonderful-friendly and nice- all the staff. The 8 course meal was exceptional. It was all very good, delicious and super flavorful. Such a true fine dining experience. Thanks to Chef Helene - She's the Best! The night was full of good energy with Dancing Dragons and acrobatic show. There was a violinist and a Magician too. The Bar tenders always makes the best cocktails and you can fully trust them on their recommendations. Pics of the course meal are attached on this review. I definitely recommend if you haven't tried. They have the regular menu daily. I can't wait to go back. Great place for a date night or groups. Dress to impress.

I cannot explain to you how delicious the crab is. The garlic fried rice, the crab puffs, lobster salad, it's all good but the crab is the most delicious most memorable crab anywhere ever and I stand by that. I loved it in 2017, I love it now 10/10

    Dungeness Crab Fried Rice
    Chandra D.

My husband and I visited Crustacean while in Beverly Hills for a weekend. Our food and service was good--probably closer to 3.5 than 4 stars, but I don't think Yelp's 3 stars would be an accurate portrayal. Our waiter was nice, but a bit distracted. He forgot the special and apologized. He was able to answer a question we had about the garlic noodles. He almost dropped something, too. Overall, he was a nice guy, but he had a lot going on. The presentation of the tuna cigars is cool, and the tuna cigars were tasty. I could've eaten about four of those! I enjoyed the Dungeness crab fried rice, the garlic noodles, and the truffle dumplings. What Crustacean does well is the presentation of their food. I wouldn't say that this was the best rice, dumplings, or garlic noodles I've ever had, but everything was tasty. Crustacean is great for a date night or night out with friends. I'd recommend the restaurant to anyone in the area.

I've always wanted to try Crustacean's and was super happy I was able to go and try out the wonderful lunch menu with the lovely prices lol. I thought the food was pretty good, especially the fried rice, and I would for sure go again to try different menu items!

This is a restaurant in Beverly Hills that I've passed by for years, and I finally tried it during this round of Dine LA. The food was genuinely delicious and very well-suited to Asian palates. Everything we had was flavorful and well executed. The dessert, however, was pretty average and not particularly memorable. The crab noodle is a must-order no question. It's absolutely their signature dish and the highlight of the meal. Service was probably the weakest part of the experience. The wait time for food was a bit long, and overall the ordering and food delivery didn't feel very smooth. For a restaurant that has been around for so many years, I honestly expected better service. That said, it may have just been an off night perhaps they were short-staffed or simply too busy. Totally understandable and forgivable. At the end of the day, the food alone makes this place worth recommending. The ambiance is beautiful, elegant, and perfect for a date night.

Send an email, that is what we had to do.

For years, it has been my absolute favorite restaurant in New York, so when it arrived in Beverly Hills, I was equal parts excited and nervous. Somehow, it lives up to the original. The seafood is exceptional, the pastas are unforgettable, and every dish feels like it belongs in a special occasion meal, even when you're just stopping in for dinner. The service is polished, attentive, and effortlessly elegant without ever feeling pretentious. There are plenty of trendy restaurants in Los Angeles, but Marea is something rarer: a restaurant that is genuinely excellent. The kind of place you find yourself thinking about days later and immediately planning your next visit. So please, if you go, be respectful. Order the pasta. Appreciate the seafood. Tip well. And try not to tell too many people...I'd like to keep getting a reservation. ;)

Everyone's favorite was Dungeness crab pappardelle and fusilli. Gnocchi was tasty, but not the best. Spaghetti with clams was very mediocre. Proteins - Their steak was vey tender, but the meat itself lacked flavor. Halibut was dry and didn't have any interesting flavor. So you can skip halibut for sure. Overall, I'd rate 3.5/5 for food. As for the service, it's 3/5 as they were decent enough, but not so attentive even though our drinks and water were empty. It's definitely good for date or business meal though as it has a nice ambiance. I'd give 4/5 for that. Would I come back? Sure, but I don't have to be a repeater of this restaurant to be honest as there are many other restaurants with similar quality (if not better) of food for more reasonable price.

The first bite gives you that textbook contrast chefs chase: a thin, savory Maillard snap, then cool, silky flesh that still tastes of the sea rather than smoke, which tells me it was hit hard over heat to render the skin and pulled off at the precise moment before the proteins tightened. Grilled lemon halves, their edges caramelized, are doing real work here--squeezes of that charred citrus cut through the fish's natural oiliness--while the thin ribbons of pickled red onion and peppery microgreens supply the bright, acidic punctuation that keeps the palate moving. Slices of avocado act as a soft, creamy foil, lengthening the finish without smothering the fish, and the halved cherry‑tomato salad looks lightly dressed so you get clean sweetness and a crisp counterpoint rather than a soggy, overdressed side. From a technical standpoint I appreciate the fundamentals: even scoring or oiling of the skin to prevent sticking, careful timing so the flakes separate cleanly, and a sparing hand with seasoning so the brine of the fish isn't lost under salt or heavy sauces. Many places feel compelled to gild seafood with every trendy condiment; here, the restraint is refreshing and, frankly, rarer than it should be. Service matched the cooking: friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to steer us through the menu with solid recommendations, which matters when a kitchen is doing delicious things well. The restaurant itself is calm and clean, a peaceful setting with a bar that lets the food speak, and last time I was there they were in the process of securing a beer and wine license--good news, because this kind of balanced, grill‑forward cooking benefits from a thoughtful pour. In short, this meal stands out because it trusts the ingredient: confident grilling, smart acid, and honest accompaniments that clarify rather than compete, leaving you satisfied and already thinking about the next visit. As for the house-made salsa: stainless ramekins on a white plate, each with its own tiny spoon - bright yellow emulsion, lacquered dark reduction, smoky-red chile purée, and a chunky herb relish. The emulsion is silky and tangy, perfect for cutting fat; the dark sauce is sticky, umami-forward and built to cling; the red one carries smoke on oil and is medium-hot; the relish snaps with fresh acid and crunch. Important heads-up: one of these is a ghost-pepper style salsa - extremely spicy, slow-building and long-lingering, so use it as a finish, not a dunk. Execution is tidy: no broken emulsion, measured viscosities, portioned so flavors don't bleed - practical, disciplined work. In an era of one-trick "house sauce" laziness, this quartet gives you tools, not excuses, and it elevates whatever's on the grill without stealing the show. I'll definitely be back here!
