college kids nowadays don't know how good they have it not only is there boba by usc campus…read more(closest one used to be boba t*me in ktown), but they have good, healthy boba! i remember when amino avenue was first only available when they did pop-ups or by delivery apps, so i was so glad they opened a physical brick-and-mortar store. i absolutely love how fresh the boba at here tastes no matter what time of the day i visit, and the drinks are made to order. because the boba isn't made from the traditional tapioca starch, they are low in calories and turn hard quickly! the friendly baristas are also very good about customizing your drink to your liking, so don't be afraid to ask if your preference, like regular jasmine or oolong tea without mango or peach flavor, can't be selected on the self-order kiosk). i live and die by milk teas anywhere i go so i love the classic black fresh milk tea, but the strawberry latte and lemon tea here are also very yummy. sure the drinks can cost more, but consider the premium healthy alternative ingredients used and the shop's super convenient location. i saw the owner recently added bagels (shaped and decorated cute into like miffy, bunnies, and kitties), so i'll have to try one next time! * x * amino avenue is open late until 1:30am, so i always drag my friends here after concerts at the shrine. there's free structure parking in the apartment complex the shop is located in if there's no street parking (also free at night & weekends) right out front.

As someone who isn't super into matcha, I like the rose milk part of the drink but not so much the matcha. I would have loved a plain rose green tea or rose milk tea but I don't think those were options based on the menu in the kiosk. So it would be nice if there was a bit more flexibility in the drink options. I would like to come back and try one of their drinks that don't include matcha next time because the drinks are definitely of high quality and flavor!

I also really enjoy the pork belly meal, the meat is perfectly seasoned and very soft. In college I always got the Thai tea with boba which got me through those all nighters, but now I really enjoy the winter melon juice with fresh milk with grass jelly and the cucumber green tea with boba (sounds weird but it's tasty and refreshing!). Parking can be a bit hectic but cars often come and go out of the lot and there are 2 spots right in front that are reserved for Cup of joy customers.

There are little tables, benches and stools if you decide to stay for a little bit. Parking situation varies. Both times I went, on Sundays, there were ample parking and no issues. Sunright Tea Studio is so welcoming and gives off such a sweet and festive ambiance. The studio is so spacious and has a beautiful Christmas tree in the center with area for sitting. We ordered our drinks from the kiosks and we're still able to communicate with the 2 baristas. The baristas were great and helpful in recommending their specialty coffee and milk tea drinks. We ordered the Signature Iced Coffee, Strawberry Matcha Latte, Chocolate Oreo Brûlée and Chocolate Oreo Frostie. The Signature Iced Coffee is a Vietnamese Highland double blend while the Strawberry Matcha Latte is premium matcha from Japan with 4 seasons oolong tea layered with organic milk and fresh strawberries. The Chocolate Oreo Frostie on the otherhand is a rich yet refreshing chocolate ice-blended frostie infused with a generous scoop of crushed oreos. So good! The biggest complaint I have unfortunately was the inside was very dirty! None of the menu screens were on, one kiosk was out of order, under the seating was very very dirty almost looks like mold. There are supplies everywhere as if there is no storage area. This place looks like maybe at one time it was packed with customers and well kept up but now literally looks VERY UNKEPT!
