I always order from the one on Vermont and today I ordered this from the one on Western. I ordered a slush and got a whole bunch of ice.

I had to check out the new spot and it did not disappoint!! The menu is more expansive than BobaTime and much more affordable. The 32oz is their standard size and all drinks are usually $5-8 and includes boba. I ordered the Yuzu Green Tea with 75% sweetness and it was perfect. I also ordered the 1/2 pound sweet bbq popcorn chicken for $6.95 and although it took a while, it was really high quality!! All their snacks are under $7ish and are legit. Wish I had a spot like this near me as a kid, they're absolutely one of my new favorite spots.

Again, I ordered through Uber Eats two coffees, horchata smoothie and honeydew smoothie presentation wonderful!!! Omg!!!it came in a pink insulated container, with an ice pack, with straws and the drinks!!!!! Thanks Boba Grande you are the best!!!

Located in the back corner of the Washington and Western shopping center near the 7-11, this awesome little shop is truly a hidden gem with no real competition. They are small enough not to be constantly crowded but busy enough that you won't feel alone while eating here. Parking is available (and free) in the lot they share with local businesses and on the residential street just around the corner. My first time here, I came with a local expert on Ramen shops (my 13 year old daughter), and she showed me all her favorite snacks and the ones she hasn't tried yet. This is definitely a nice, relaxing place to enjoy some ramen, Boba, and, believe it or not, chicken wings. I ordered a very simple and basic honey lemon tea and a half pound of chicken bites, lemon BBQ, and paid less than $15 which isn't too bad considering the portion sizes and the amazing flavor!! The honey added in the tea was rich and sweet, and they were not heavy-handed with it, which I liked. The chicken bites were great also. Sometimes, I worry about getting chicken bites/nuggets because I have bitten into a ball of fatty tissue or muscle, and after eating the entire half pound, I can gladly say that was not an issue. My daughter ordered a ramen off the wall of ramen, and she cooked it herself in their ramen cooker. She totally surprised me by adding egg and green onion to it. And while she refused to comment, the fact that she didn't complain until we got home made me think she had enjoyed herself.

They changed their hours and now have on their sign that they close on 8 PM on the weekdays. However, I got there at 7:45 PM and they already locked the door. They said they close down at 7:30 PM and stop taking orders then. They shouldn't advertise that they are open to 8 PM if they only take orders to 7:30 PM.

Very friendly service, awesome selection of boba and ramen, good prices and absolutely delicious! The place is clean and quiet and thankfully, doesn't match the neighborhood at all. Definitely recommend.

I specifically asked the employee twice to put less ice in my drink that I paid $7.50 the cup is literally all ice I literally hate when places do this like am I paying for the ice or the drink smh I'm never spending money here again trust me

This place is the best!! The boba is great and not too sweet! So many good snack options to choose from (the corn taiyaki was great), a cute prize wall for when you bank up enough points, and the staff was really helpful.

Really good service. Clean space. So many options definitely something new you can try each day.

I've seen people here working on their laptop and groups of people around one table so the vibe is chill and friendly. It also depends on what time of day you come. Weekends usually get packed. As for the drinks and food. What we've had here has always been good. Best to eat their Croffle and baked goods there. Although Matcha is not for my liking, I'm more for their Taro Drink. B says the Matcha here is one of the better ones she's had. I have to agree even their Matcha Ice Cream is good. We get is the Matcha Croffle + Ice Cream, Matcha Einspanner, Taro Einspanner, and their cakes. Only thing I knocked down a star is because Not all the workers know the answers to your questions of what is in what food item or if you can substitute the milks. So that's something Cafe Upper should train all staff. Especially if people have food allergies.

Personally, I don't like that style, I was hoping the original would change that for me! Long story short, I didn't like the Walnut Chocolate Chip. I personally just don't like that style still, so I'll chalk it up as a "me" problem. The cooked part was good. The Rocky Road was cooked through. It was an amazing baked good with good flavor and add-ins. Between the roasted almond slices and fudgey chocolate chips, I was enjoying it immensely. A highlight of my day for sure. Based on my memories, this LA location keeps it consistent with a similar taste and texture as the NY location. 3.5/5 Chocolate Chip Walnut: This cookie was tall and slightly undercooked in the middle. The middle was a bit on the squishy side, and crunchy on the outside. Due to the undercooked quality, it's not a cookie I'd get regularly, though I am a big chocolate chip cookie fan. 5/5 Rocky Road: This was delicious. I'm not usually a marshmallow fan, but the addition of this ingredient formed a nice chewy consistency that I expect from a cookie. Chocolatey tidbits were well melted into the cookie texture and produced some fudgey notes. The cookie sizes are large and potentially shareable, and feel like an every once in awhile treat.

Almost all of our pastries were ready before we had even left the kiosk, which was great! I went with the mango and the peach, both of which were fantastic! The shortbread cookie underneath both was delicious, the mango mousse and filling tasted so fresh and amazing. The peach had an Earl Grey cream and fresh peach chunks as well. Both were in the classic white chocolate shell. These are so cute, fun to eat, very refreshing, and not overly sweet. The shop itself is adorable, plenty of seating, great decor and the staff was super friendly and very nice!
