Another boba run. Service was pretty slow and they didn't talk much but boba was as expected...yummy. Very clean place.

Secret off-the-menu latte: Espresso with banana milk, ube, and boba. Yum!

Boba Guys has the best quality boba pearls and boba drinks in the Bay Area. I prefer them over Teaspoon and Urban Ritual. My favorites are the Hojicha Latte and their secret off-the-menu item, Banana Milk with Espresso and swirls of Ube, which I believe you can only order once you've obtained the minimum amount of points on their loyalty app. (You can earn points via their loyalty app either by making purchases or by playing their Worlde game.) I wish they would bring back their seasonal Butternut Squash Latte also. This location has several tables, though it is a little smaller than their Fillmore location. No bathrooms for customers.

You really can't go wrong with a spot like Boba Guys. As a NorCal staple, they have been churning out quality boba drinks for years and this location feels just the same. You can order at the kiosk or wait for a staff member to appear to take your order. What I appreciate about their business model is that non-dairy milk is always available without an added charge. I always get my drinks with oat milk (even if their creamer is non-dairy, there is often still milk derivatives) and my Hojicha latte with boba was well made and satisfying. No public restroom from what I could see. They also sell some merch on the side if you're wanting some boba guys goodness.

One of my all time favorite boba shops! Drinks are always so refreshing & made consistently at each location I've visited (ie NOPA, Union Square, Palo Alto, The Burrow, Santana Row, etc). The only downside is that it seems like each location has their own menu or exclusive items that are not available at another spot. My fav drinks are the HK Milk Tea, Black Sugar Hojicha Latte, Strawberry Jasmine Fresca, Lychee Milk Tea, Muscat Oolong Milk Tea, Pastel Paradise Cloud, & Black Sesame Milk tea.

I usually get the hong kong style milk tea with boba. I honestly think its pretty good but For a smal cup of boba I find it to be over priced. Ive only been to this store twice but over all the service was fast. Theres some seating but during rush hours it's just a grab and go.

I LOVE Boba Guys! I feel like there used to be so many boba places in the city and I was able to get good boba anywhere I went. My boba standards are high and all these years, Boba Guys has met my expectations every single time! I don't live super close to Boba Guys but I will go out of my way just to get it. Strawberry Matcha Latte is my all time favorite. If I'm not feeling tea that day, their Strawberry Fields is my next go to. I've given other drinks a chance and they do taste good, but nothing compares to those two.

Quick service on a weekend at 3pm! No line and clean interior. Ordered a strawberry matcha boba. The boba was kind of hard(?) and seems undercooked. The matcha flavor was strong enough but also the default sweetness was a bit too sweet for my liking. Would come again to try something else!

The boba was average, the drink had a nice mango flavor. The service was ok, nothing too special but the aesthetic of the place is nice.

I've been to boba guys many times, and today I wanted to try the Sapin Sapin drink, which is a drink form of the filipino dessert. It's made with jackfruit, coconut milk (and some coconut bits on top), and ube, which all sounds very yummy and the photo on the website showing all the layers was pretty enticing. I can't speak to the authenticity of the taste as I've never had the dessert itself. I didn't really know what to expect because I've never had jackfruit, but after trying it I actually really like the taste! The closest taste I can relate jackfruit to is lychee (maybe a blend of lychee and pineapple), and it just has this very tropical fruit taste - citrusy sweetness. The drink has a bit of a grainy texture perhaps due to the fruit and coconut milk. There's also some bits of coconut floating on top, which is crunchy barky as you bite into it and gets coconut stringy as you chew more. I personally can't really taste the ube this time. Note: I didn't get any boba or topping so I thought the skinny straw is fine, but it just didn't stir the layered drink up so I had to switch to the big straw. Even then it took some effort to stir and swirling the cup to get the drink fully mixed. Overall I really like this drink, I easily drank half of my 16oz cup. 5/5!

Boba guys boba is nothing new, but I wanted to give it a 5 star review for being a better place to hangout than I thought. It's not super packed all the time and they have tables/wifi/outlets, so it's actually quite the hidden gem for that! The only cons are that there's no bathroom, and the menu prices are without boba despite having boba in the pictures. Other than that, the drinks are good quality and they have unique flavors! I got the pandan caramel milk tea, which was tasty.

Ube Latte & Korean Banana Milk
    Joey W.

Came here after a few hours at the park and we were happy to find seats inside. Not many boba places have seating anymore so this was nice! Ube Latte - super creamy but really sweet. It tasted like ube candy. I would ask to adjust the sweetness level next time. Korean Banana Milk - creamy and not super sweet. The banana didn't taste artificial which I appreciated. I'm not a huge fan of banana milk but this was good. The boba was overcooked as it was very mushy.

I'm from LA and we have pretty good boba. Saw this is a popular spot in SF and tried their Korean Banana milk which is a stable. Drink was refreshing and tasted like fresh milky bananas but was not too sweet. It was good but not sure if I would get again. Boba was nice and chewy. Friend really liked the strawberry matcha.

Decent boba w good alt milk options. Both on the sweeter side -- note the sweetness level on strawberry matcha can't be adjusted (adjusted by volume of strawberry sugar)

I walked about 30 minutes and arrived too early as the store did not open until noon. I walked out to Geary Blvd. and there was a lot of construction as I explored the area. I returned with only 14 minutes left before opening. The lady opening the store was raising the blinds on the windows facing the street. She unlocked the door shortly after noon and directed me to the kiosk to order. I knew I wanted the peach oolong milk tea at 75% sweet with no ice. It had been quite windy on the walk. Because of a coconut allergy in the family I had to ask if the popular mango pomelo sago had any coconut. Unfortunately, it has coconut (milk or oil?). As soon as I heard coconut, it was a no go. I wasn't familiar with pomelo and the lady told me it was like grapefruit. I still wanted to order a mango drink and went instead with the mango smoothie also 75% sweet with less ice. The customer following me asked about alternative milks which they do have. I overheard that they have oat and almond milk. Both drinks were excellent. The milk tea was not too sweet and I appreciated the peach bits in the drink. The mango smoothie was really creamy.

She explained there may have been a mistake with one of the selected options in the app and even acknowledged that she understood if the drink could not be remade, but wanted to ask anyway. The reason for this review is to address the lack of consideration and customer service from the hispanic male staff member working that night. Instead of listening to the concern, the staff was dismissive and rude, repeatedly saying things like "all I do is press these buttons" and "this is what you ordered," without acknowledging the customer's experience or concern about the quality of the drink.
