the inside of this boba spot is very cute and i like how there's a lot of seating! this is definitely a place you can go to order drinks and food and sit down at, whether to chat with friends or study. you order at a kiosk and they make your drinks which. if you buy food it may take a bit longer. i will say i think the popcorn chicken is a bit pricey for how little you get and the taste is mediocre. they have sauce options and also sell cookies, the red velvet oreo one is good, pretty big cookie for like 5-6 dollars. i tried some sunset drink that had passion fruit and mango and it was good, so i think their fruit teas are worth trying. overall, nice interior and fairly quick service, fruit teas are good but haven't gotten around to milk teas. read more

I come all the time to work. It's a very nice and quiet boba shop to come and study. Plus they have free Wifi. Their drinks are very customizable and almond and oat milk are free substitutes. I usually get a Thai milk tea no sweet, and it has a really good and strong tea flavor just because I'm trying to be healthier. The server Michelle is really nice and helpful for deciding on what to put in my sampler. The air conditioning also really helps with the really hot weather outside. read more

This is my first time going to this location. Cutely decorated. You can order online which I did and my order was ready to go by the time I got there (15 minutes) although it estimated 20-40 minutes. There's also a tablet you can order on when you get there. Online ordering is super easy and I prefer it. I got the 24 oz Hokkaido milk tea, no topping with light ice and regular sweetness for $6. It was perfect. I also ordered the Sunset Sherbert as fruit teas are always my favorite and I love places that have mixed flavors. I like how they don't add the ice until you get there so it doesn't get watered down by the time you pick it up. Came here on a Friday night and it was empty. The store looks new and it's tastefully decorated. It's small but clean. Their offerings are the same as the other location. We ordered and waited less than 10 minutes. I got the seasonal black sesame latte. I think they need to use better packaging because the cap wasn't secure at all. It didn't seem like it was made for hot drinks. It was piping hot and spilled in the car when the lid slid off lol. The end of the drink was super chunky... I'm not sure what it was (probably black sesame paste?), but I couldn't swallow it. Does it need constant mixing? Nice boba place, clean and spacious. The kids were like "ooo fancy". I paid $1 extra and upgraded my drink to a bigger size and I never seen a boba drink that huge. Well worth that extra $1 upgrade. Nothing really special about the milk tea other the enormous large size. We also ordered 2 samplers (popcorn chicken, calamari, mozzarella stick, eggroll and fried mushroom) and the pandan waffle. I was surprised how good the samplers were. Being samplers, I guess the portion was decent except for the calamari. Can't really taste much of pandan in the waffle. Heard there was another bobaholics opening so I had to try it. I ordered the Compassion and when it came out, one of the workers offered me a brown sugar milk tea as they made an extra for whatever reason. Who am I to say no to free boba so I took it. The Compassion was not too sweet and you can still taste the tea through all the fruity flavors. I did feel like it was kinda watered down as the fruity flavors weren't that pronounced, but it can also be bc of the bitterness of the tea that it kinda balanced out to neutral. My fave bubble/boba tea place. I love they offer dairy alternatives for the dairy intolerant like me. (almond, oat, non-dairy creamer). My go to is the almond milk tea, black tea, half sweet, large (32oz), no ice (since I put it in the fridge to drink over a couple of days. $7 plus .25 honey tapioca balls/boba. A few gluten free snack options, fries and tofu but don't know of the cross contamination of the cooking oil. I can tolerate that, some can't. Would love to see more gluten free snacks like wings made with corn starch instead of wheat flour like the Korean do. Don't go when school lets out or when the gym is busy at 5pm. Parking can be tough then. I am still trying to find the Taiwan version Almond milk tea that tastes like marzipan. read more

This is the newer Bobaholics location in San Jose. There is plenty of parking, but it gets pretty busy with the 24 Hour Fitness and many stores/restaurants in this plaza. This location is a bit more clean and modern compared to their other one. I ordered my usual, the jasmine milk tea. The tea was definitely stronger with a slight creaminess to it.
