I'm visiting for the weekend and thought boba tea would hit the spot so looked it up and found this place. I got the jasmine milk tea and told them I wanted it less sweet. It was as another reviewer described, really nothing special. The extra tea made the drink too astringent for a milk tea. The amount of ice they added watered it down too much right from the start. Small spot, limited and tight seating area. Does not seem like a lot of patrons come here which immediately caused some concerns. Hot passion fruit-mango tea was a bit sweet and I had some chunks of what I believe were seeds from the passion fruit. This place is very cute and the name is very clever (of course growing up in the 90s). We got the mocha and it was flavorful, not something I would entirely remember though. The boba was good. I would have probably rated this place as 1 star because Lychee Peach Tea that I got was disgusting. It was so bitter and sour at the same time; I couldn't even finish it or even sip it more than twice. I had to return it immediately and asked for another drink. So the girl there made me another one which was Passionate fruit tea; it was sour af, but it was bearable. The terrible thing was that with every sip I took, I had to spit out huge ass seeds that they had in the drink. It was so annoying. You literally can't eat the seeds. I've gone to plenty of boba shops in my life and this one so far was one of the worse. At least, the girl that worked there was trying to accommodate to customer's needs. Really yummy bubble tea! The tea was not overly sweet like many shops make it. The bobas themselves were super chewy and flavorful... I liked how sweet they were because the tea and the bobas balanced the drink out. The lady working in the shop, ( I think she was the owner) was very very kind to me and my fiancé. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the price... it was just a tad bit expensive. I get it though because we are in a tourist town & it is a small shop. Apparently this place just opened up recently in Huntington Beach. It's located close to Main Street but is not visible anywhere close to the street. You will have to park and find it tucked in between two others stores on 5th street. This store is tiny, and their menu is pretty straight forward. They have hot tea, cold tea, milk teas, and other items listed in the menu above the cashier. I thought the place is open till 10pm on weekdays as it mentioned on yelp, but it closes at 8pm so it needs to be changed. I barely made it before this place closes for the day so i got lucky. The items I picked were Almond Milk Tea and Jasmine Milk Tea. They didn't have Black Milk Tea by the way. I had requested less ice and boba added to both drinks. The Almond Milk Tea tasted like pure almond milk, with no tea really. Even the color of the drink looked like straight milk. It wasn't bad but it wasn't my favorite thing. The jasmine tea was much better in my opinion. Over all, I think both items were just good. I'm sure this place has potential to grow and be better as it's still new. This place was a huge disappointment for me. For years I've been saying that downtown HB needs a boba place so when I saw the shop today I was ecstatic. The lady who greeted me was super nice but clearly didn't know what she was doing. It took two minutes for her to correctly take my payment. The drinks here are super overpriced and taste horrible. My boba was rock hard. Don't think I'll be coming back here again and it's a damn shame. read more

The women working was a sweetheart and the boba was good at 50% sugar. It has 2 little tables so plan on walking around downtown HB and not sitting there to drink. The prices are fair, my only complaint is that the boba comes in a regular cup/straw...which weirds me out a little. read more

It's alright. We came here since we were already nearby for poke. I had the earl grey milk tea which wasn't bad, but the jelly add on it came with is an usual choice. The jelly itself isn't bad... it's not too sweet and has a nice texture... but I don't like add on's in my drink so it was really weird that they just added that in there automatically. I'm not really sure if it's an almond jelly or coconut jelly either. The drink did have an earl grey flavor to it though, so that's a positive I guess? My friend had the tropical milk tea. It's a lot more like a che than a drink though, so just be prepared to eat the drink like a dessert instead of drinking it. read more

I just wanted hot coffee, for starters the coffee was $5.25 a small size wich is ridiculoisly pricey and to top it off they just had coffee hanging at a pitcher cold and tried to heat it in a microwave for me, like are you serious, 5 bucks for old ass regular coffee heated in a microwave? This place isn't too bad. The drinks taste fine and the people are friendly. It's a little difficult to find because it's hidden down the shopping center alley next to the fountain. I have three reasons for giving only two stars: 1) The drinks are mostly ice. I watched them fill our drinks 1/3 of the way with tea and boba, then fill the cup with ice until it looked full. 2) price: for two little (they only have one size and it's small/medium) drinks it cost almost $11 3) this is just a personal pet peeve. I don't like when businesses use the screen to ask for tips when no service is being provided. This place does that so it makes me want to go elsewhere. read more

I'm writing a review to commend the lady who served us. She was really nice and helpful. My friend accidentally knocked over some pots so she asked for a broom to clean up the mess. The server just smiled and said she'd take care of it, which we think was really nice. She was helpful with explaining the differences of the drinks as well. On the other hand, boba was okay.
