This place is delicious. I got the vanilla chai and I asked the cashier to make it sweeter and she made it perfectly to my taste. They even have delicious Korean side dishes and food that makes the whole experience even better. I ordered the spicy teokbokki and popcorn chicken. This is the perfect place to go to with your girlfriend/boyfriend if you have dated for at least 1 year and 4 months because not a lot of people go there and you guys can have your personal time. One of my go-tos in the Fullerton area. Its a bit further away from Calstate Fullerton than the other milk tea joints. It sits in a strip mall with a plaza on the other end of the parking lot. It should not be too hard to miss, unless your coming from Orangethorpe and miss the turn onto Euclid. I feel absolutely at home here. The setting and environment is very comforting and the employees are so friendly and welcoming. A great place to study and get some homework done. I've here a couple times and tried the Milk Tea, Thai Tea, and one of their smoothies. They were all excellent. The Thai Tea was authentic and was not as sweet. (like most places) The Milk Tea has a perfect balance of milk, sweetness, and tea. It tastes alot like authentic Taiwanese milk tea, but just a little bit sweeter. They have a snack menu as well, but I've only tried their sweet potato fries which are delicious. They sometimes hand it to customers for free when they make too much. BobaYolo also leaves used coffee ground out so customers can use them for composting or other purposes. read more

Wife got the Peach Mango with boba and I got the Peppermint Limeade. Wife liked her boba drink. Solid choice. My limeade was very carbonated and the mint tasted more like basil. They definitely make the limeade with sparkling water and it is not very sweet. I felt pretty healthy drinking it but I didn't like it very much. We also got the beef kim bap. Ok, there's only one reason why I keep coming back to this place, and it's their Grapefruit Sparkling Ade, which is an amazing delicious drink. Consisting of real grapefruit fruit pieces, sparking water, and liquid syrup, it's a perfect blend that hits that thirsty spot. The place itself has a nice decor, but no power outlets. So, why 3 stars? Well, I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's how they run the place, instead of being customer focused, it's almost the other way around. They constantly change the menu, so if you liked something (they used to have this bomb galbi kimbap), there's a good chance the menu has changed and been removed. The staff there is nice, but once again, you get the feeling that you're a bother. Lastly, the parking in that area kinda blows, once again, not so much there isn't enough space, but the layout is weird. Also, watch out for that one lamp post in the middle of the parking space, if you don't pay attention, you'll run into it. It already has a lot of battle scars to show for it. read more

I've had their vanilla chai milk tea with boba and it was fantastic (definitely better than any iced chai at Starbucks) and their peach mango smoothie. Came here with my SO on a whim; the bright yellow sign is easy to see from the street. Had their avocado shake, as the owner suggested it was a "less sweet" option, and it was! Felt super hipster ordering an avacado shake of all things, but it was super good! The staff was very nice and friendly. I think they're still working out the kinks of keeping orders straight when it gets busy, but just hold onto your receipt like you do at in-n-out and it's not a problem. yikes! this place doesn't respect their customers. we ordered a boba milk tea to try out this new spot. when the order came out, the guy at the counter said "here's your boba coffee." ?????? we were confused. I would have never ordered boba coffee because I would never drink boba in iced coffee. that combo doesn't sound good to me. yuck. Any place with good business practice would say "sorry! let me remake it for you" or at least "oh! let me check the order again" but nope, this place just straight up said "I'm right. you're wrong. You can't go wrong with this since its just fried thinly sliced sweet potato with augar sprinkled on top. But not many places have this. I was so happy to see it on the menu. I currently have to drive down to Cypress for my favorite spot (7 Leaves) and hoped Boba Yolo would make me switch allegiances. I ordered a boba milk tea just to try it out and I wasn't disappointed. Boba was soft and seemed fresh. The tea was STRONG and sweet but not tooth-rot sweet. They offer free WiFi but there is a definite lack of wall outlets in case you are looking for a place to spend a few hours working while you sip or munch. The moment I was entered, I was greeted by he owner with a cheerful smile and welcome. Let me tell you. This place has great boba, great customer service! The owner of the new cafe is extremely friendly, and builds great rapport with almost every customer I've seen! The milk tea is spectacular! So I stopped by on my way back home because I was craving an ice cold drink. I ordered the Thai tea with boba and....it was really bad. You're probably thinking "oh come one how can Thai tea be bad! It's Thai tea!" It tasted like Thai tea and a hint of old towel smell. You know the old towel smell you get after using a bathroom towel for a few days? Yes I know...I'm assuming a towel was used to clean something that the Thai tea was in or a container I don't know. Plus the actual boba itself was soggy with zero chew. I think this place would attract so many more people if it was in a better plaza but anyway I really hope people try it out!! I went today and got the ddeokbokki and the rice cake was one of the softest I've had :-) chewy but not too chewy like other places LOL also I'm not sure if the soup comes with the ddeokbokki but the super kind grandma there (who I suppose is the owner) gave it to us and she was just so so so nice and tbh it felt like I was at home with my grandma bringing me food!!!
