We've been to Fogo de Chão more than 20 times over the years, and this Flamingo location just keeps getting better after the remodel. This was one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. The service was exceptional. Every team member worked together seamlessly and made us feel genuinely cared for. Management was engaged and on top of everything. Special thanks to Amanda and Catalina, who were tremendous. The food was phenomenal. Nearly every cut came by our table and every one was delicious. The Market Table was fresh, fully stocked, and high quality. The sides were excellent too. We pretty much ate everything in sight. Despite being packed on a Saturday night, the restaurant felt spacious, clean, and well organized. We were seated within minutes of our reservation time. Outstanding experience. My family and I recently dined here to celebrate a couple of birthdays with a party of ten…read more I have a very curious and strong willed almost four year old who absolutely loves to play with the water in kids' cups whenever we're at restaurants. The staff was quick to bring out a high chair for her, which I really appreciated because I knew that if she sat in a regular chair, she'd constantly want to get down and explore. The high chair was sturdy, even for her age/height/weight, clean, and...best of all...the buckles actually worked! That may sound like a small thing, but I've been to plenty of restaurants where the high chair buckles are broken, so it's always something I notice, along with the cleanliness of the highchair itself and the buckle straps and buckles. That specifically is something I also look for because my daughter has a lot of severe food allergies, and cross-contamination for her is a real thing! Despite me even wiping down the high chairs and table area of where she is seated, it has happened when we've gone out even though she was eating safe foods for her. And germs...kids transfer so many germs so I definitely still wipe down the chair and buckles with disinfecting wipes. The variety of food and meats here is really impressive. I honestly think there's something for everyone, and probably multiple favorites. My almost 6 year old ate so much, and so did my almost 8 year old. The servers were great about coming by frequently, but they also spaced things out enough that we never felt bombarded with food or had our plates completely covered at once. I ordered one of their traditional drinks that had mango flavor as a choice, but unfortunately I can't remember the name. It was the one thing that disappointed me. It came in a fairly short glass that was filled to the top with ice, so it felt like there wasn't much of the actual drink to enjoy. This is my reason for the star deduction, because for the price of the drink and what I got, this was a huge let down. Our server...oh my goodness, I feel terrible that I can't remember her name because I waited too long to write this review, was incredibly kind and patient, especially with my youngest. We were a large table, and she had other guests to take care of as well, but she did a great job keeping up with us. She was quick to bring extra napkins when we needed them and always replenished anything we requested in a timely manner for the most part. One of my favorite things here is the plantains! I honestly think I eat more plantains than meat every time I come. Haha! This is still one of my favorite places to bring my family, especially because my youngest has several severe food allergies. She's allergic to eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame, so I have a lot less to worry about here than I do at many other restaurants. We actually brought her own food because she usually doesn't eat much when we go out. She's far more interested in playing with the water in her cup than eating. And honestly, we just couldn't justify paying the kids' buffet price for her when we already knew she wasn't going to eat enough to make it worthwhile. Overall, this restaurant has a great atmosphere, is clean, offers a huge variety of food, has an excellent salad bar, and consistently provides attentive service. Even though this is my first review here, I think this was actually my fourth visit, and I still haven't had a bad experience. A recurring frustration was the gap between advertised coupon pricing and what actually appeared on the bill, often running nearly double the promoted rate before drinks, but the food itself kept me coming back. I'd put those prior experiences at a 3.5 out of 5. My most recent visit didn't make it past the host stand. I arrived after a conference to find open two-top tables visible from the entrance and was still told to wait with a 10-minute estimate and a promise of a text notification. Thirty minutes passed, no text. I left without making a scene, and on the way out I could clearly see multiple open tables still unoccupied. The most plausible explanation is a policy against seating solo diners at two-top tables during busy periods. That's a legitimate operational call, but the lack of transparency about it and the failure to follow through on the text notification made for a poor experience. A brief honest explanation at the outset would have been enough. I ended up at Fogo de Chao instead, where the service more than made up for the short Lyft ride. Pampas has lost a returning customer over what was ultimately a fixable communication failure.

Because this was a private event, my experience may differ from a typical visit. I've focused this review only on the restaurant's food and service. After checking in, we were led to a reserved section toward the back of the restaurant and allowed to choose our seats. We joined a few other guests at a large table. Each place setting had a menu, and after about 10-15 minutes, our waiter introduced himself and took our drink and food orders. Unlike the restaurant's usual all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse experience, this event offered an à la carte menu. We could order appetizers, a few mains, the salad bar, and desserts. They were also running happy hour from roughly 6PM to 8PM, with many items half off. I ordered several appetizers: Bruschetta, Meatballs, and Salgadinos. The Bruschetta was excellent--three large slices of bread generously topped with fresh tomatoes, herbs, and balsamic glaze. The Meatballs were disappointing. We received three that were only slightly warm and appeared to have come straight from the salad bar. The Salgadinos were the most interesting of the three. You get four pieces with different fillings, but the differences were subtle. They were nicely breaded and fried, with a mashed potato base and protein filling inside. While they tasted good, it was hard to tell which filling was which. The event itself was quite loud, but even on a normal night the restaurant has a lively, energetic atmosphere. It's not the place for a quiet, intimate dinner. Overall, I might return if I'm craving Brazilian BBQ, but I probably wouldn't attend another murder mystery event at this venue based on the food quality alone.
