This evening, I had an AMAZING Time for my first visit at this steakhouse to celebrate my 40th Birthday. All of the food all tried was delicious especially their Salmon. I made an exception and ate some meat for this because I stopped eating meat a year ago. The service provided by the entire staff was truly AMAZING!!! Especially Nina. We had a great conversation about the memories of growing up here in Las Vegas being the same age and all. The ambiance was really nice I'm interested in possibly enrolling into their cooking class. This is by far the best Birthday deal of them all. I will pass this information on to my friends. Looking forward to future visits.

This was my first Brazilian steakhouse experience and it was definitely a good one. From the freshness of the salad bar, the frequency of the meat offerings to the helpfulness of the staff. This place offers it all! As for the meats, I recommend the picanha, tri tip, prime rib and pork shoulder. Those were chef's kiss, just make sure to have your tongs ready. Another thing that sets this place apart is the fact that they are so incredibly allergy friendly with clear labels for gluten. I also tried their Chocolate Mousse, which I found to have good airy texture and flavor but the crumbs at the bottom, I wish were a bit softer. The ambiance is that of a nice steakhouse with a good amount of room between tables to allow servers to circulate.

Beautiful restaurant in a well-kept shopping center with ample parking. I've attended banquets here and most recently had the best experience!! The salad bar is well-stocked with fresh and flavorful fruit and vegetables. The meat choices are so yummy, especially the garlic steak! The meat arrives so fast, it was exciting to see what was next!! Plus, the chicken and sausage were good too. Mashed potatoes and bread were so fresh and warm. Service was outstanding and I really enjoyed my meal and the entire ambiance. Highly recommend for a wonderful meal and a banquet! Lots of comfortable seating to choose from!!

Stopped at Via Brasil Steakhouse on a Saturday night. The restaurant is generally busy so reservations are recommended. They have a nice selection on their salad bar, including lobster bisque soup. The Brazilian meats are really good, and they also include Salmon and Shrimp as part of the offerings. Service was okay. The restaurant is clean .

A great spot for Happy Hour. We have yet to try the buffet, so that's on our list. Spencer our server was super friendly and did a terrific job in making the Brazilian Crush Martini. The Brazillian Chicken Skewers were great, and we always love the Balsamic Beets. We tried the Trip Tip Skewer which was cooked perfectly. Finally, the Salgadinhos which is an assortment of appetizers which all were amazing. The interior is spacious and their Happy Hour bar area has decent size tables. We'll be back.

We decided to treat our family out for New Years Eve dinner. We called ahead to make a reservation. The hostess was friendly but kept offering to get us a reservation to their sister company, Empanada Factory. I thought it was odd since I was trying to schedule for what I thought was an upscale steak house. She finally gave in and made us a reservation for Via Brasil on New Years Eve. As we walked in, the ambiance was nice and with Christmas decorations up. The hostess sat us pretty quickly. Our waiter came and asked us for drinks and sides. He seemed to be in a hurry but we had questions about what some of the items were on the menu. After hearing what the menu items were we ordered 3 sides: sautéed bananas, fried bananas, fried yucca, and the Brazilian cheese bread came out while we waited. We started with the salad bar which looked nice although it lacked the variety we are used to from a Brazilian steakhouse. Unfortunately we didn't like much from the salad bar. The chimichurri that we love as an addition to our steaks was underwhelming. It had no flavor from the cilantro, garlic, pepper, or parsley. I'm not sure which green herb they used as I could not tell. I could tell it was not olive oil and if it was it was old or cheap. The meatball was salty and we couldn't eat it. The Alfredo was okay but we didn't come to a steakhouse for pasta. It was also very odd to see Asian fried rice on the salad bar. After the disappointment of the salad bar the meats started coming. I was told to ask for shrimp or salmon ahead of time if I wanted it so I did. I was given two shrimp and two small pieces of salmon. The salmon along with the buttery sauce was pretty tasty and cooked to my liking. I didn't care for the shrimp. Although they looked delicious, they had a weird taste. My husband and son had a hard time getting a good cut of meat. They both like their meats medium well so the gauchos would say they'd be back but every time they came back with the same meat and it would still be medium rare to medium. Every single meat we got from the bacon wrapped filet, picanha, garlic steak, beef ribs, sweet chicken, etc. was either full of fat, had an awful flavor, or was so dry we couldn't cut it with our steak knives. Trust me we tried a lot of cuts trying to find something we could eat. A good or even decent chimichurri couldn't save these meats! The gauchos were all friendly but seemed to lack training in the skills of cutting meats. My shirt was ruined by the oils from the meat when they tossed it onto my plate. It seemed to take a while for meats to come around and we had to ask for every single cut that we wanted. We waited so long for a side of the Brazilian bread as our last attempt to eat something. We don't normally have room for dessert but since we didn't eat much, we thought at least we would end with something sweet still trying to salvage our special dinner. We waited so long for our crème brûlée to come out which was just mediocre and that's pretty sad considering we live in Las Vegas. We sat here for a total of two hours. This was way longer than we expected and the seats were very uncomfortable after the first hour. There are so many great 5 star reviews for this restaurant. We live in a town that boasts quality and flavor! Do not be fooled like we were with these top reviews. There are other options for Brazilian steakhouses that deliver the bang for your buck. We were really disappointed in this one.

The steaks were perfectly cooked medium at our request and salted the perfect amount. The butter was fantastic as well. This place is......not good. I'm honestly blown away by some of the reviews. The food, the service, the vibe - it was all lacking. I eat at a lot of steakhouses, so I may have higher expectations than the average diner. Service: - Our server was very friendly, but forgot about us the entire back half of our meal (we even skipped ordering dessert because we were completely forgotten about and sat there for so long after finishing dinner). - He was not well versed in handling wine (which IMO in unacceptable for an "award winning steakhouse"). He handled the wine glasses by the bowl instead of the stem and poured extremely large servings, about 4 oversized glasses from a single bottle. Food: - The steak tartare was very thick, large chunks instead of a classic fine mince. It was served with tasteless bread that had heavy black grill marks on it. Would never order again. - The calamari and brussels were both tasty and fine. - My NY strip was so full of tendons that I couldn't even chew through it some of it. I can't remember the last time I actually left a piece of steak on my plate from a dinner. - We were ordered a flight of steak sauces and they were spread all over the table with no explanation of what was what. - As for sides, we ordered mash, mac and cheese, broccolini and cauliflower....all very average. Vibe: - completely lacked ambiance. The lighting was bright, there was no background music, and it felt more like a casual neighborhood diner than a place you'd expect to enjoy a nice steak dinner. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me why it had been years since my last visit. Between the average food, inconsistent service, and lackluster atmosphere, I left genuinely wondering how this restaurant has earned such high ratings. Summerlin has far too many incredible restaurants to justify another visit, and for a steakhouse, I'd choose T-Bones or Harlo every time.

We did not originally plan on having a big meal or making a special visit. We simply wanted to sit somewhere nice, have a glass of champagne, and enjoy a quiet moment together. But once we stepped inside Smith & Wollensky, everything felt much better than expected. Sometimes the best dining experiences are the ones you do not plan too much. This was definitely one of those pleasant surprises. The atmosphere was beautiful. It had that classic American steakhouse feeling with warm lighting, sparkling glassware, and an elegant but comfortable setting. It felt upscale without being too formal, and it was the perfect place to sit with my mom and enjoy a relaxed conversation. We ordered champagne by the glass, and it was excellent. Sometimes champagne by the glass can feel a little flat or not cold enough, but this one was served very cold and the bubbles were still lively and fresh. The first sip was crisp, refreshing, and immediately made the moment feel special. My mom and I both really enjoyed it. The burrata cheese was absolutely delicious. It was soft, creamy, and fresh, with a rich but delicate flavor. When I cut into it, the texture was beautifully smooth, and the creaminess paired so well with everything else on the plate. I especially loved the fruit pairing. The brûléed orange and charred grapefruit added a bright, slightly sweet, and lightly bitter flavor that balanced the creamy burrata perfectly. The basil added freshness and brought the whole dish together. The ham served with the burrata was also excellent. Sometimes prosciutto or cured ham can be too salty and overpower the dish, but this one was not too salty at all. It had a nutty, savory flavor that went beautifully with the burrata. The creamy cheese, refreshing fruit, fresh basil, and savory ham were very well balanced. My favorite bite was with a little burrata on the crostini, some fruit, and a piece of the ham together. The crispy bread, creamy cheese, bright fruit, and savory ham all worked perfectly in one bite. We only came in for a glass of champagne, but this starter made the visit feel much more special. The service was also comfortable and professional. The staff was attentive without being overwhelming, and the pace felt relaxed. That kind of service makes a big difference, especially when you want to enjoy a nice moment without feeling rushed. This visit became a sweet memory with my mom. A cold glass of champagne with lively bubbles, delicious burrata, and ham that was savory but not too salty made the whole experience feel elegant and enjoyable. Sometimes a simple, unplanned stop turns into one of the best parts of the day. I would definitely come back again next time I am in the area. If you enjoy burrata cheese, I highly recommend this dish. We came in without high expectations, but left very impressed and very happy.
