Great Israeli food. Always busy, a bit slow on delivery, but well worth it. We go weekly and often run into friends. Very reasonable in pricing so we can frequent it more often. Guess that's new age falafel. Ask for a water and it takes over 20 minutes to get, my guess is that's cause they haven't figured out how to charge for that also. Clincher was at end of meal being asked how they can make it better and after being told some simple courtesies that would cost pennies but create goodwill the answer we got was "well that's the policy". Really disappointed in this place. There are a few places that are very similar and I have loved them all but this one is a flop. First of all It is very overpriced, I had the Shawerma Lafa which is $14, for a sandwich!!! I was very unhappy with the amount of meat in It, It was basically all filling other than meat, so $14 for cabbage sandwich. The bread was so chewy that I left with a sore jaw. Icing on the cake is the taste was below average. The fries were over cooked and pretty much burnt. Also got the falafel, It was nothing special and super greasy. It was my first time and the line cook was very rude when I was trying to figure out what I wanted on my sandwich. The service was also terrible, there are 2-3 guys just running around and no one is really assigned to you It seems, you just have to flag them down as you need them and it's very disorganized.I really was hoping I would like this place but never going back, find yourself another spot to eat. read more

Ate there with another couple on 10/22/18. Waiter was brash and always in a hurry, Could deal with that...the real surprise was the 18% tip added to our bill without our permission as well as a "rounding out" charge of $5 and change which they could not explain. Great great place. As an Israeli I can definitely say the food is authentic and probably the best in Boca. The service is fantastic because the hosts actually care even if it isn't white glove service you can tell they serve you as if you are guests in their home. Simple, plain place with fleishig Israeli fare. Large, delicious portions -- we've ordered felaffel, Schwarma, burgers, and charcuterie. Service was terrible (took 20 minutes to place an order, 30 minutes to get a falafel and a shawarma. UNLESS you are Orthodox and coming in with a big family, expect to be treated like dirt (or maybe they know you - fat chance). Many people just got up and left and they never noticed, A lot of people working there but running around like chickens with their heads cut off. If you want better (ALL AROUND) - go to the Falafel King in Hollywood, they are Israelis who know how to run a business. And they still charge a 18% service charge to disrespect you. Very disappointed. I have been coming here for the past several months on a regular basis. The food has always been tasty, but even more notable WAS the stellar attentive service by a server named Daniel. Tonight was a Monday and my teenage son and I remarked how surprised we were that we were literally the only patrons in the restaurant (about 8 pm ). The "server" who I suspect may be an owner (because I could never imagine an employee getting away with this) was not only unavailable, he was downright rude! He spent the entire time outside smoking cigarettes chatting it up with other people. I could tell that the other workers (cooks, etc) were getting annoyed with him. How often does it happen that the cook actually asks the customer if he is ready to order? When we said "yes" he actually had to go outside and inform the server/owner that we are waiting to order. The server came back in and with an obnoxious air about him, said "I hear you are ready to order". We ordered our food. He came out with the wrong items. He went back out and spent the entire time smoking outside. I literally had to ask another person in the restaurant if they work here. It was obvious that this poor gentleman was on his break. He kindly brought another soda for my son and brought out my take home boxes. When I received the check, of course I was overcharged. When I was able to catch the server before he went out for another cigarette break, I brought it to his attention. We waited another 10 minutes for him to correct the check. Finally, I said, we would like to pay if you could just correct the check. To which he snidely replied "I fixed it in the computer 10 minutes ago".. Hmm, maybe you should have told me that?? I have never visited this restaurant nor do I ever intend to. I am from Broward County where we have an abundance of schwarma restaurants. The going price for a schwarma pita is $8.99 or $9.99 and they really pack it in. The Boca Grill comes in at $11.99. A large order of fries is $2.99 or $3.49. Boca Grill chgs $4.99. Sorry folks, I will stay in Broward and avoid these "Boca" prices. All the restaurants I am speaking about are Glatt Kosher. I am comparing apples to apples. read more

Went here this past weekend. Not busy. Walked in and a guy offered to seat us - no smile, no sense of welcoming at all. OK fine. Menus brought, but no water. A different older guy takes our order. Barely spoke English. He really starts pushing the appetizers. Older waiter didn't understand what "vegan" meant. Hello - Israel has the highest population per capita of vegans in the world at 5.2%. I ordered the falafel plate - says comes with fries, salad and hummus. Waiter asks if I want hummus (for extra $$). Um - it already comes with hummus. He didn't seem to understand my wife's simple order, and never brought one appetizer she asked for. So after a few minutes, I had to walk over and asked for two waters. Older guy asks "Bottled or tap.?" Tap is fine. More trying to add to our order for more $$. This whole time - not one smile - and a very present feeling like they were doing us a huge favor by waiting on us. ZEEERO feeling of making us feel good about being there, even after saying "It's our first time here - heard good things about this place." Food arrives - falafel was WAY undercooked - mushy as hell. Wait - it gets worse. We both ordered a platter - which was to come with sides. So what do they do? Totally CHEAP OUT and bring the TINY portion sides on SINGLE little dishes. WTF? I said "We each ordered a platter which comes with sides." Dude says "Oh we combine them like this. SUPER tacky and cheap. Like ultra-cheap. This place SUCKS. Ambiance is non existent. My advice? Go to Maoz at Town Center Mall, and get an amazing falafel or falafel plate for way less, from friendly people who actually know how to smile - and without the ahole rude attitude we got from Boca Grill. 3 of us went there for dinner. I asked for water for the table and 2 wines. Our server Roi brought 3 bottles of water ....I said no, I wanted regular water. He said...I don't serve that, if you want that you can get it yourself. He said that with a straight face, very pretentious. I then had to asked for cups to get the water. He brought clear plastic disposable cups. My sister went and got the water. The 8.99 per glass of wine was small bottle twist top that cost about a 1.50 anywhere else. I then saw other servers bring water in solid plastic cups to all of the other tables. Maybe Roi is the owner's son? Then Roi automatically charged 18% service charge/tip. This was after he forgot my wife's soup and my request for a side if mayonnaise. Another server brought the soup and spoon. My sister got up and got the mayonnaise. I cannot make this up. I would attach a copy of the receipt if I could. They're absolutely taking advantage of Kosher people. Shame on them read more

I love this place! So hard to find good shawarma in Florida but this place knows exactly how to do it. I took a friend of mine to have dinner here today and she couldn't get enough of it.
