Staff was friendly and attentive - but the food was awful. The grease in the frier hadn't been changed in too long so the fried food (majority of items on the menu) tasted awful. My daughter and I were shopping at Nomad's in Grapevine, TX yesterday (a really cool outdoor clothing and miscellaneous store) and I asked the store manager, Sydney, where was a good place to eat near by. She suggested Bohemian Bull, said they had great burgers and gave us directions. Oh my gosh! We started with the deviled eggs...amazing lime/tajin/corn/cilantro mixture! Then we each had a burger that were both out of this world with flavor. My daughter had the brussel sprouts. She'd had them elsewhere before and loves them, but these were beyond great! The good: the food is excellent. I had a black and blue burger. I usually can't finish a burger but ate the whole thing. My date had the salmon which he said was to die for. The beer selection is a treat for the beer lover. The owner even changed the music to our taste. The bad: the wait service was slow. I don't know if they are new as this place has not been open for long but the wait staff needs to be instructed that if people are not waiting for a table cleaning tables comes after serving the waiting patrons already seated. The bacon cheeseburger I ordered was tasty. Service was very good. Our table of 3 ordered 3 different sides: pasta salad, fried okra and lightly fried Brussels sprouts which we all tried. The sprouts were by far the best of the three, we agreed. Crispy, crunchy and not breaded. Very good dish. The okra was dipped in batter and fried whole. It was our least favorite of the three. Such a great meal and experience! Got there early and sat at the bar while Arturo took EXCELLENT care of me. Such a sweet guy and so helpful! Then Matthew took care of us at the table...he was great! The owner (?) came by and said hello and thanked us for being there. I got the steak frites and the flavor was amazing but steak was a lil tough. Not bad, really, just hard to cut.
