    Lobster Tail

Ordered one of the combo meals for $85.. First lobster tail color was fine, but very rough and had absolutely no flavor at all.. 2nd lobster tail is literally black.. Boil Daddy please make this right..

The takeout Mussels and Shrimp with Daddy Sauce were cooked well. The shrimp were large. The Churro with Chocolate Sauce was a tasty dessert, though some of the churros were a bit harder than others. It was nice to have a dessert option since The Boiling Crab and The Kickin' Crab don't offer one. The butcher paper is self-service.

Been looking for an easy and quick seafood boil place and this did it for me! I got the Daddy's Shrimp Bowl ($17), which came with a good amount of shrimp, potatoes, sausages and rice -- all super filling! There was so much sauce too, so the flavor was in every single bite. The service was fast. I didn't really interact with anyone since there was a kiosk to place your orders, but I received my food pretty fast right after ordering. I also went at noon on a Saturday and it was very slow. Since it was slow, it was very quiet and empty. There are a good amount of tables (it is all outdoor), so there was no problem finding a seat if you needed it. They also had a hand washing sink, which I appreciated. I would come back to try their other dishes such as the noodles and wings too.

I have been to this establishment twice in 2 weeks and was not disappointed either time. Fast and efficient service to go along with delicious food. If you like the other seafood places (boiling crab/kicking crab) you will definitely love this place.

Wow , I went to boil daddy and tried they have. Wow the food that I got was packed with flavors, not sure with other restaurants in Orange. But boil daddy hits . It's bussin , the flavor and spice taste amazing . I'm coming back again and try different things. They even have churros and ice cream which is awesome. This is 10 out of 10 . yo this so good

Food is delicious. I've had the daddy's moods and the shrimp bowl and both are flavorful and tasty. Definitely would come again.

Butcher paper for dine-in customers only

We ordered 1lb of mussels & 1lb of shrimp, both with daddy sauce, and they were really good. The sauce has a lot of garlic and flavor. The garlic fries were also super tasty. The medium spice level was perfect - spicy enough to enjoy but not spicy enough to cough and have a runny nose throughout the meal. Also they have a deal that mussels are $1 off if you eat here before 3pm. The proportion of the food here feels smaller than Boiling Crab even though it's the same weight. Each pound of seafood was able to fit into those small brown cardboard to-go containers which threw us off because we didn't know if it was enough food since it was so compact. We also didn't like that we had to pay extra for the sides (sausage, potatoes) when it's usually included with 1lb+ orders at other places. We also feel like they skimped out on the sauce a little bit - other places usually give you loads of sauce that we can drench the seafood in. Boil Daddy gave only enough sauce to season the seafood. They were also very exact on the amount of salt and pepper packets they give with each pound as seen on the receipt. We also didn't like that we ordered Boil Daddy for takeout and asked for butcher paper but they said it was only for dine-in customers, even though there were barely any people there and the butcher paper looked like it was open for anyone to take if needed. Other places usually provide/include complimentary butcher paper with takeout orders. We ended up having to use our own parchment baking sheets at home.

We arrived to this location with a large crowed. We had about 14 people in our party. I didn't think they were ready to accommodate so many people at once as it's a small establishment. We waited 45 min or longer for our food. The food came out piping hot which was great. The food was good, will I come here again...absolutely. The only negatives was our rice was undercooked , which is prob due to them rushing to get our food out. The daddy noods and the daddy shrimp bowl was good. I added sausage to my bowl and to add one small sausage was $4.50. The mahalo shrimp was ok, it wasn't crispy as I thought it should have been. The fried mahalo fish is a must, prob the best thing I ate besides the daddy noods. They had grand opening prices which was very affordable. No bathroom, no indoor seating.

I ordered their mussels & clams to go with their daddy sauce & it was really good! I wasn't expecting it to be an outdoor spot. But I thought it was cute! It came with sliced lemons. I ordered the mild sauce and it wasn't too spicy & boiling crab mild is too spicy for me. So that was a major plus! I was so excited to eat it I didn't take a pic of the food.

2nd time around. First time wasn't the best and they had just opened so it's understandable. It's getting better guys. Ordered through Doordash this time. Ordered Medium Spicy and I would say it's very tolerable. Not spicy at all. Also still has a bit sweetness to it which is not a bad thing. I would definitely be coming back and try the spiciest they have, I want my stomach to ache lol. Fisherman's lunch is great for 1-2 people. Highly suggest getting it.

What impressed me this time was how well they handled a busy Friday evening with just three young staff members running the floor. They stayed calm, friendly, and on top of things. Christian especially stood out with his warm and affable personality, and the other two girls were also very helpful throughout. I have been here a few times now and the seafood has always been consistent. I keep coming back for the gumbo at lunch, and their shrimp platter is always a solid choice. Our go-to is the Combo 1 ($34.95) -- you pick any 2 pounds of seafood from crawfish, mussels, clams, octopus, or shrimp, and it comes loaded with 2 corns, 2 potatoes, and 4 sausage slices. It's an incredible deal. When we're really hungry, we tack on an extra pound of seafood and still walk away feeling like we didn't overpay. Compared to similar spots, the prices here are genuinely hard to beat. The service is great, the restaurant is clean, and the vibe is super fun -- they've got TVs all around so you can catch a game while you dig in. It's the kind of place where you roll up your sleeves, put on your bib, and just enjoy yourself. Highly recommend!

Even though it was 6:15 on a Saturday night, we were able to be sat right away. As soon as we walked in, someone greeted us and showed us to our table. Our server immediately got us waters and asked if we wanted anything else to drink (wife and I both got some delicious beers that they had on tap). We had our little one in tow with us and they were so accommodating to him! As soon as we were ready, our server took our order. We got: Chowder "frots" (fries and tots mixed in with some New England clam chowder, bacon, onions, cheese, and other goodies) 10/10, would definitely order again. My wife got the lobster roll with a side of clam chowder. Loaded with lobster, but you do pay the price. Labeled as market price, this was almost $40. Delicious, but not worth it in our opinion. 6.5/10. Pan roast (house specialty which came with shredded crab, shrimp, clams, and muscles). This, topped with rice, was heavenly. Better than any pan roast I've had. Came out ripping hot as it should. My wife was envious of my dish. 10/10 From the kids menu we also ordered the chicken Alfredo. My kid loved it, but my wife and I both had a bite and wow, we would've ordered that for ourselves it was so good. 10/10. We can't wait to come back just for the food. On top of that, however, service was above and beyond. The servers and everyone in the restaurant were so accommodating to us and our child and made us feel so, so welcome. We would come back even if the food was bad, solely for the service we received. Vibes we great, decoration on the walls look like they hired an artist to paint it. They had two TV's behind the bar / prep area that was showing NBA and PGA which I'll never complain about. All around 10/10 experience.

Pricing is OK -- it's more expensive than places in North OC/LA or even Santa Ana, but obviously not as expensive as a touristy spot like Santa Barbara. Parking could be a challenge on weekends and meal times -- during peak times, we avoid the main lot and parking garage, and go straight to the extra lot off of Alton (next to H-mart on the other side of the driveway). Wait time is usually about 30 minutes during peak times. For our family of 4, we usually get Combo 3 plus an appetizer and extra sides like pasta or rice. Comes out to about $200-$250. Service is inconsistent. Sometimes we get great service, other times, we're waiting to get gloves and water refills.

The worker was basically like, "you want snow crab, potatoes, sausage, eggs, corn and you want it hot?" This was extremely delicious, but not $70-$80 delicious. The place is expensive but totally worth it, I just can't justify paying so much. It should have cost $50-$60, you don't get the actual entire crab, just the legs. They charge you for the entire crab, every items you order, it should at the minimum have given me those metal crab opener things or a mallet. Also, the worker pretty much wanted me out of the store, they never asked me if I wanted to dine in there. Only reason why I don't rate this 5 stars is the price and lack of utensils.
