Wait wasnt too bad for a party of 4 (only 20 minute or so on a Sunday evening). Service wasn't anything spectacular but the food made up for it. My biggest drawback was the fact that it being summer and also next to a bunch of fires, I sweated a lot lot. Definitely more of a problem for me but a fan or some more ventilation would've been nicer. I sweated more in the 30 minutes I was there than working next to grills and fryers for 8 hours. First parking was really easy just on the side of the building and you just check in before going in onto an iPad we waited about 40 mins to get seated which is fine it was busy. But once we got in it was dead like it looked like everyone got there soups and there wasn't any new people. Server came in like he's in a rush asked us what we wanted (even though we never been here and he didn't ask) but we looked at the menu while we waited. He took our order within ten seconds didn't even offer us water so we had nothing to drink. I don't like this location. The pots wasn't consistent. I ate here about 5 times since they open and I feel like every time I would order a pot it's missing either egg or shrimp they just give me a bunch of cabbage. And sometimes my pot isn't even full. And all those fish balls that I like is slowly being replaced with other gluten balls or sticks. Also this younger employee was kinda rude!! We literally came in n waited patiently n we missed the happy hr by 2 min because we waited over 15 min for them to take our order. She did it on purpose too. But whatever I'll just pay for it. I have been eating it since it was $7.99 a pot in Monterey Park A couple days ago, my friend and I went to this newly opened branch to eat hot pot. When we arrived at the door of the branch, I pressed the number plate on the computer screen outside, which was No. 21. After waiting for a long time, a service lady came out and asked who No.21 was? I said it was us. But she invited us to look at the menu on the screen and then skipped us and asked the 22nd to start ordering. After ordering, she invited them to go in and sit inside. On the 22nd they told her that the previous ones were still available on the 21st who didn't order anything yet , but the service lady said it didn't matter that you could go in and eat first. I was quite angry after hearing this. I asked her :「why you skipped us on the 21st and let the 22nd order food directly and let them go in and sit inside first? 」She said ：「you still don't know what to eat? So I asked them to order first. 」I asked her ：「you didn't even ask if we could order food? You directly asked us to go to the screen to read the menu, and you didn't even ask about the number on the 22nd. You just ordered for them and then asked them to sit inside. This is my first time at this location. The servers here are not even pay attention to the customers and see who needs to order. I've been sitting here for 10 mins and no one came by and asked if we were ready to order. I had to call and get their attention that we are ready to order and one waitress said something from afar and pointed to the other waiter and waitresses and yet. No one still hasn't come by everyone is all on the front desk. I really like all the servers when the place was on Valley wayyyy better than the servers here. No one wants to come and take your order. I HAD TO CALL THEM 3X. I love the food here but this probably be the last time I'll be here. Thr servers here are really bad! This is not a recommended location. I had lunch with my family here. The Chinese woman who appeared to be the manager was unkind. On my last visit, I was not able to get points, so I showed her the receipt and asked her to save it, but she said no, and I promised that she would do it for me later if I left the receipt, but she didn't keep the promise. For two out of three lunches, the Curry Hot Pot on the menu was sold out. I went at lunchtime and they said the Curry menu was already sold out... There was an empty table, but I made them wait outside on a rainy day as well. I ordered outside, and of course it was empty. I checked the menu again when we sat down. Then came the food I ordered. Why do I have to order from the Chinese woman outside, sit at the table and wait again? The taste was franchise, and the young servers were generally friendly. My friends and I came to this location when we heard of their double meat and AYCE rice. we were first disappointed at the price, it was raised 3-4 dollars compared to before. We were also told that we were limited to 3 bowls of rice, and the meat portions were lacking for double meat. The service here was very disappointing, not even offering more soup. Me and my friend have been going to the old boiling point in the san gabriel plaza for years we love hotpot here. Unfortunately the old spot closed and you guys reloacted to 315 s san gabriel. The food was great, but the sevice was definitely lacking. We simply wanted to get our fire put out since the broth was already almost gone. I understand when it is busy, but it was not that busy and there were 5 workers that were standing around, made eye contact with them and still no one came until i had to wave one of them down. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and 2 taiwanese pots. The total was $70ish. Me and my friend each paid for our own. I asked the worker if it is possible to split the check, and he said yea no problem, so we both got up and went to the computer in front to pay. However, this is the part that I missed and was not notified. The tip amount asked is still based on the TOTAL amount not the split amount. when we got to our cars, me and my friend realized we EACH had tipped 20% of the total. Wow! That was 40% tip of the total...either you guys need to fix the system when split checks, or the worker needs to inform the customer that the tip is based off the TOTAL amount. I had a party of 4 dining in. While I understand wait times are not guaranteed and can be shortened/extended, this was ridiculous. We were told 45 minutes so we decided to wait. At an hour and a half we went in to ask them when we would be sat expecting them to ask for our number to check where we were on the list. Nope. A trainee tells me "you need to wait 30-45" minutes. I already waited an hour and a half what do you mean? At the end of the meal they give this jelly. They gave our party of 4, 3 jellies and when we asked for another they said they ran out.
