This is a very newly open Bolay , Everything is fresh and made to order as you walk through the line. You make your selections first you start with your base, it could be Kayle, oranger basil quinoa, baby spinach, cilantro noodles, Asian sweet potatoes noodles,forbidden black rice, Moroccan basmati rice, Jasmine rice. I chose kale and baby spinach. Then you have to make your veggies chose of broccoli, balsamic mushrooms, smoky cauliflower , roasted Brussel sprouts, garden green beans. I chosed the mushrooms and garden green beans. You have your choice of your proteins,the miso glazed tofu, lemon chicken, pork tenderloin, and then you have a premium which is spicy Thai shrimp, steak au Jus, or ahi tuna which is two dollars extra. I chosed the shrimp. Now your add on can be fresh chopped cilantro, minced tomatoes, or Parmesan cheese. Now for $.50 more you can add on goat cheese, and for $1.50 more you can add avocado. You can add some sauces to your dish which would be spicy Thai, carrot ginger, cilantro pesto. And for the end of the feast a gluten-free cookie or a snickerdoodle & chocolate chip. This is a very healthy chain of restaurants that is popping up in a lot of places healthy is the main ingredients in this restaurant. They're at a great location and without a doubt is a great addition in the area with so many businesses and residencies. They had their huddle right before the beginning of service, and it's evident that they're a TEAM, looking out for their brand, product and service to every guest. OMG, my mind was blown. I was looking for take out food when a co-worker suggested Bolay. I had to ask him to spell the name, it was new to me. Super convenient, we preferred and paid online, the food was ready on time, and let me tell you: it was delicious!!! Now I have a favorite place for lunch and work days. I am so happy that they opened one up so close to us! The location is easy to get to and convenient, although parking can be a pain since it's in a very popular shopping area. We are always looking to eat healthier, but options can be a bit challenging if you want a quick bite, versus a sit-down restaurant. This place is perfect - quick, yummy, and healthy! I love all the options (my faves are the cilantro noodles and sweet potato noodles) and Bolay is also vegetarian-friendly. Love the vegetables and don't skip on dessert (hey! You're eating healthy ... why not splurge on one cookie?!). Oh, and I am in love with their watermelon black tea! It's on the sweet side but if you're good with sweet, like I am, definitely give it a try! My only complaint is that the brussel sprouts are a tad on the salty side, which is unfortunate since they're well-seasoned otherwise! We called to find out if there's sesame seed on anything because we have a serious allergy. They said the teriyaki chicken can be added without sesame because it's sprinkled on top. I said okay great and I ordered a whole family platter for us with teriyaki chicken, no sesame seed. My husband goes to pick it up. We paid. He brings it home... we open it up... sesame seeds all over the chicken. So I guess if you don't have any dietary restrictions or allergies, come here. Otherwise don't trust them. I've now been on hold almost 10 minutes for someone to "resolve it" for me. Yeah I'm not banking on it. ETA: after waiting on hold and re-explaining the situation, they refunded our meal. This was an absolutely amazing dining experience. I wished I lived here because I would go back every week. I had written this place down as a place to go to once we landed. My boyfriend and I ventured over and it might be the highlight of the trip. Everyone inside working was so helpful and kind. Your online system clearly has a problem. This is the second order I've place online where I've asked for sweet potato noodles and always end up getting cilantro noodles. Won't be ordering online again and PS cilantro noodles suck always undercooked. Very disappointed. I was so surprised at how organized and well presented all of the employees looked. So-I frequently go to the other Boca location and love it! Tonight I tried this location and it was good-but I think they might have one less veggie option?? (Maybe)....I'll need to go back to the other one and confirm...but my bigger issue was that I felt like the veggies were under cooked. First and last....clean, nicely presented, good service unfortunately they lack quality food. Most notable in the proteins, especially the chicken which was doused in sauce to apparently disguise the low quality. Paid the up charge for steak and shrimp which were better than chicken but certainly not worthy of an extra 2 bucks. Fresh Kitchen, same concept, up the street on Military Trail much better. So if you can choose clean, you can eat clean And walk out feeling full and satisfied. I did spinach base, beans and ginger broccoli as my veggies and mojo pulled pork as the protein. I love Bolay and made a point to go to their other location pretty often. Was very excited when they opened the one out West Palmetto. Well we were very let down tonight with the quality of the food. We both got "large" bowls and paid for one premium meat (tuna and the other guest got steak). They were very "light handed" and got like 2 tablespoons worth of each. Normally the portions are much better. We will give this location another shot but hopefully management teaches the servers how to portion consistently so they are not so small and tight handed. read more

I really love bolay and use to come here quite often. I've seen a lot of the same comments about what I'm going to mention. I dont get why tofu is $1 extra. It's tofu, which is relatively cheap and shouldnt be considered the same as the shrimp or steak price. Second, the portions really depend from whos serving the food. Usually im quite surprised at home much is given, but lately some employees have been cutting down on the food they give. Today, an employee removed half of my rice because i asked if i could get "a few spinach leaves on top"...so it left me with a half full bowl. read more
