Bourbon Chicken and Tempura Shrimp with broccoli and mashed potatoes.
    Charnell S.

After the visit to Sarasota Art Museum, I wanted to eat somewhere. So, I went to University Park area and saw the sign for Bonefish Grill. I found a parking spot very quickly, this a very busy area. Once seated, my waitress Laurie, came over for my drink order and offered me some bread with olive oil and pesto. I ordered the 3 course meal. I got the Caesar salad, Bourbon Chicken and Tempura Shrimp with broccoli and mashed potatoes, the dessert is brownie with fudge rum sauce with whipped cream. All of the food was so good. I took the dessert to go and half of my meal to go because I got full. Good location and afterwards, there is plenty of stores to shop or browse in. If I'm in the area, I would go go back.

Just okay. I hadn't been here in many years, went back to give it a try and was disappointed. Got the Grouper Rockefeller and it was tough and lacked taste. Other items Mahi Mahi and Shrimp Pasta were also rated as okay by my guests. Waitress was loud and never present and then they ask to start at a 18% tip rate. Doubtful I'll ever return.

The service was quick, bang bang shrimp tacos are very good, so is their fried cauliflower on a bed of coleslaw .

Went to this Bonefish Grill with friends for a 4-Course Bourbon Pairing Dinner. We do these pairing's often and have gone to many different Bonefish locations. This was our first time at this location. This was located in Sarasota on Cooper Creek Blvd. This area is very crowded with many restaurants and stores!! In the winter it's very difficult to park with all the snowbirds. The restaurant was packed for this pairing. I believe it was the entire dining room participating in this dinner. At other pairings it's usually a separate section of the restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was excellent considering how crowded it was. We started with a Harvest Apple Salad served with an Apple Bourbon Martini. This Martini was my favorite of the night. Course 2 was Sea Scallops with Spinach and Mushroom Risotto served with a Bourbon Margarita. This was my least favorite cocktail. Course 3 was my absolute favorite. I actually go every year in the fall just for this dinner special!! It was Swordfish with Pumpkin Ravioli served with a Brown Sugar Manhattan. This along with the cocktail was delicious! Course 4 was Spiced Apple Cheesecake served with a Pumpkin Sidecar. The Pairing Dinners are a bit pricy but Bonefish is generous with their menu. At all of these pairings I've been to they also do raffles which is a fun way to win something. The raffles are free and when you arrive they give you a ticket. It is 's a fun night out with friends. We enjoyed everything and had a fun evening.

Menu and drinks were Pricey! But good crab fries were yummy. Would come back again, but would probably have to have a gift card or something to offset the pricing.

Our server was John T and he was excellent. But the corn chowder and calamari were extremely salty for my taste. The bang bang shrimp was just ok along with the cedar salmon.

We loved going to the Bonefish Grill in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where we used to live. My husband and I were thrilled to discover this location, which we feel is just as good as the one we left when we moved here. We love starting with the crusty bread and oils...... I have to be careful to not fill up on a bunch of bread, but it's SO good and I'm a bready. My husband and I split our meals more often than we don't.......I just don't eat much. We split an order of Bang Bang Shrimp (my husband's favorite) and the Cod Imperial. Both were very good, and was more than enough for the both of us. Since we were there on our anniversary we were given a free piece of cheese cake. We ended up taking the cheese cake home with us as we were quite full from our meal. The cheese cake tasted just as good at home as it would have tasted there. I'm glad this location is not too far from us as we will likely be going back.

Restaurant was slow at the time we arrived and plenty of staff standing around but it took quite awhile for our server to come to get our drink order. Server was great with a great attitude though. Restaurant is very clean and Food was good! Love the dine rewards too!

There were at least three hostesses/waiters/tresses greeting us at the door. It's more of an adult environment. Very nice! We ordered an app, the cornbread, their claim to fame. And it certainly was fantastic!!! I had the cowboy salad. It was all chopped up just how I like my salads. Perfect amount of ingredients, they didn't skimp! The only issue, and I could have asked for more, was they should bring a small side of dressing when they bring the salads out. Regardless the salad was yummy! The prices were steep but not any more than you would expect to pay in an upscale restaurant, $23. And, what I appreciated was they DO NOT INCLUDE AN AUTO GRATUITY! YAY!!! Overall the experience was outstanding; environment was beautiful, service was good, food was delicious. We will be back, many times I'm sure!

He had great suggestions and provided us excellent service. We tried the cornbread, which is a must have. Large enough for two, maybe three. I had the Danish ribs which were delicious and fell off the bone. Others ordered the prime rib sandwich, Trout, and Salmon. I had the cole slaw and mash potatoes as my sides. All of the food was delicious. They have a full bar and they also allow you to bring your own wine. No corkage fees. Great idea. I would say there were quite a few tables ordering drinks and drinking their own wine. The deserts are sinfully delicious, and huge. After a rich dinner, we shared two of them. The banana cream pie and key lime pie were equally good.

The Seabass also a winner and the crabcake was enjoyable for our fourth person. Usually just one meal is a standout but honestly all meals were standouts...but if I had to pick one it would be the pork chop. The restaurant is very comfortable, modern and a huge bar with comfy booths and lots of tables. Outside dining as well. Parking is tricky if the mall and Restaurants are crowded. The several pieces of fried oysters and shrimp were flavorful. The basket also had small bites of okra and a fillet of a lightly breaded white fish. Too much food for my wife, enough to fill me up.
