    island (something)?
    Sophia M.

Nice market and very friendly staff. This place is obviously very popular for their sandwiches. We waited almost 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Their best selling sandwich (island something?) was absolutely worth the wait The bread was fresh and soft without falling apart and the meat, toppings and sauces pair together beautifully for a perfect filling lunch. The roast beef blue cheese sandwich on the other hand was slightly disappointing. Much smaller and less to it - just meat and melted cheese. I'd still come back again just try something else

    Irish soda bread.

Went today to look for Irish soda bread and the very helpful store clerk showed me where it was. I bought four loaves and Irish bread & butter too. Wonderful service and selection of food. We cut slices, toasted, buttered and ate one delicious loaf as soon as we got home.

Tasty, well-priced sandwiches! My only complaint is that you cannot build a sandwich from scratch, but you can customize existing menu items by adding or subtracting ingredients. Boney's has plenty of parking in their store-only lot. There is a fish and meat counter, sandwich and deli salads counter, and lots of organic and healthy grocery options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is walking distance from a bay view of Downtown - perfect for a picnic - and offers patio seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A basic sandwich or wrap is only $5, and special sandwiches are $8.50.

island baja! (lmao I couldn't wait to eat it before taking a pic)

This review is more so on the Island Baja sandwich than store in general, but absolutely LOVE THEIR ISLAND BAJA SANDWICH! It's absolutely perfect and it's the only sandwich I'll crave. Not much of a sprouts fan but it just works on this sandwich! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Rest of grocery store seems to be organized just fine with a lot of enticing products (especially drawn to their bakery section and produce section).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I waited a little bit longer than expected for my sandwich, but understandable because there was a large order in front of us. Overall, GREAT SANDWICH! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute store![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Purchased a few grocery items for breakfast for our stay in Coronado. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The isle were clean and well organized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even at 7.30 at night when they close at 8pm the staff asked if we needed help finding anything. Sadly they were out if their seafood soup for the night that we wanted to dinner however we got a BBQ rotisserie chicken that was delicious instead. A little more expensive than the vons down the street but as always you get what you pay for.

We were visiting SD from LA and stopped by to pickup a sandwich for lunch on a Sunday, wasn't expecting much but it was SO GOOD. It was honestly pretty busy so it was a bit of a wait but we didn't mind, my friend and I both got the Coronado Club and we loved it, the foccacia bread was bomb and the sprouts too omg. My brother got the meatball sub and didn't like it that much. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But super cute, quaint market with great staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I'd been hearing raving reviews about the Boney's sandwiches so decided to give it a try! Went on a tuesday evening. There were a few people in line, but not many. Ordered 3 sandwiches and they look around 45 min to come out... not super ideal but only 1 person was working (slowly). The sandwiches definitely surpassed our expectations though! The focaccia sandwiches are massive. It's like half a loaf of focaccia in 1 sammy. I had to save the 2nd half. Really good sandwiches, just be prepared to wait.

No ingredients listed on their bakery items

Loved this little grocery. The foods they offer are a similar selection to Whole Foods and other health-inclined stores. Looked like a great selection of produce as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean and organized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My only complaint was that their in-house bakery items that are packaged on the shelf have no lists of ingredients, which is a challenge for those of us with food intolerances.

I try to avoid this store as much as possible. Which means I have to go out my way on public transportation i mean, seriously, this is not the backwoods of alabama and one of those other seriously racist states. This is supposed to be beautiful San Diego California it doesn't make sense how people can be so evil and nasty towards a person They've never encountered before, and I'm pretty sure when they were hired, they didn't inform H. R that they were going to treat certain customers in a nasty and vile way And it's awful how management condones this behavior Because the employees are very comfortable in their actions It is not okay to make someone feel uncomfortable or unaccepted. In an establishment that you don't own it's also ashame that the machine where I put in my phone number and pin Number tells me thank you for being a value customer across the screen i've never heard that from an employee since my shopping experience at the store. my whole career was in customer service and it would bothered me if I knew that I didn't put my all into making a customer feel satisfied. Or at least appreciated.love thy neighbor is a commandment not a suggestion Do better Ralph's replacing people with robots is starting to sound like a good idea.

This particular Trader Joe's is located in the Liberty Station area and is beautiful! It's off the main street before entering deep into the hustle of shopping and eateries. This trip, we bought some dips, chips, quick frozen meals, coconut water, smoked Gouda cheese and crackers, ice coffee concentrate, heavy whipping cream, and apples. They have their own parking lot. It seemed extremely busy and crowded. The employees were very friendly and helpful as always. They had samples out that day. I always loved sampling the newest thing. They had packages of the cooked bacon bits. They offered on top of a salad. It was very tasty!

Then, I happened upon Walgreens! I was delighted to find regular Walgreens prices right on Coronado, where I expected a cold bottle of water to be $5 or more. I ended up getting two large bottles for $3 using a Walgreens deal. I just used some W Cash Rewards that had been saved for quite some time, and now, when checking out, I have to start earning my W Cash Rewards from scratch again. I enjoy the occasional visit to Walgreens, where I typically see it as a good excuse to stock up on paper goods, such as Kleenex or facial tissues, which I often run out of at home. I found multiple options for brands, box sizes, ply count, and whether they were soft or had lotion on them. I do enjoy just walking around the store as you never know what you will find. While walking around this time, I noted that this store regularly keeps the aisles looking good and the items in stock, though I also saw employees restocking items and changing price tags in various aisles. When I was checking out, there was one person ahead of me, but the line moved quickly, and once I entered my phone number for my rewards program, my transaction went through quickly, too. The W Cash Rewards program is free to sign up for and easy to use. You earn back 1% in Walgreens Cash rewards storewide, even at the pharmacy, and 5% in rewards on Walgreens branded products. There are also sales prices automatically unlocked and other savings coupons, where you can earn reward dollars by making a purchase after selecting a given coupon. Sometimes the coupons are on a receipt from your most recent purchase. You can also find other coupons on the app or the website (or in a booklet or ad when you arrive at the store). While I do not frequent Walgreens as often as other drug stores, I often wonder why, when I happen to visit a Walgreens store, as it's so easy to shop there, and my experiences are often very pleasant. Though on Coronado, I would consider my visit to Walgreens to be a big success!!
