The female Servers and bartenders are the RUDEST at this location. We go to all over the DFW to all BoomerJack's & NONE of them are like this. You would think they would be nice to their guest since we tip them but it seems like they really care since they get to drink on the job & do what they want. We will only ask for a male server now & if there isn't one working we will leave & go down to FLIPS!! read more

It makes me sad to have to give this place 3 stars. I must say it might have been 4 or even 5 stars if we had a different server. We had a table of about 10 and were all drinking, as I have been a server when I see this table I see opportunity to make a lot of money. But our server probably came to our table 4 times within 2 hours. Some of the people at our table started ordering 2 drinks at a time she was taking so long. We would have ordered many more drinks if she would have given us the chance, but at the end around 2 hours before closing she came and gave us our bill without even asking. On top of everything she messed up some of the bills and was accusing our group for letting someone leave without paying, which was not true. The customer service was horrible. They were not busy on a Sunday, July 7, 2024 and the hostess could not even tell us if we could sit on the patio. Another waitress came by and decided to sit us, and the waitress came by shortly after. We ordered some drinks, she came back and said they did not have the ingredients to make those drinks, and then we waited 15 minutes... No drinks. I waved her down And said are they not ready yet? She said no and I said we're leaving. Pretty self-explanatory on their customer service and ability to serve customers. Very disappointed and would never return again. read more

We got our drinks Then had to flag her down to get an appetizer ordered Now normally somewhere in that order and the appetizers arriving you place your main course But no we had to flag her down or get one of the 3 other waitresses who were just next to us to help out Finally the food arrived Didn't take the appetizer plates out of the way Then the food We had 3 Monte Cristo sandwiches which were pretty good Problem was 2 of the 3 orders came with sweet potato fries Which it should have been 1 Then regular fries I ordered salad never got it My daughter ordered chicken wings Terrible When they the one table Tammy and her helpers next showed up they brought 2 orders of fries but not my salad My poor son in law had to go shave before his food finally arrived Just terrible service We were credited a couple of meals but that doesn't do justice to the aggravation I did notice the cool table behind me were just as happy as could be thank good One Table Tammy took care of them read more

We have been here several times and had a good experience. Today is not a good experience. We showed up 30 minutes before the games started and requested a specific game. They put the game on eventually. Then had a problem with the satellite. Still, we were here first and the games had not started. They finally got around to addressing and stated "the games have started and we cannot change the TVs now. They need to publish the games under the TVs and online so we can make game watching decisions before we get here. The food is fine but we could have gone anywhere to see the games they are showing. Decided to try this place out for the first time. Great environment, cool place to hang out with friends and lots of room to enjoy. The negative (for me that is), lots of food selection and offerings but not much for healthy choices or options. I'm sure the food is good so try them out. Since I'm a health nut, I may go back for perhaps a drink only but to much food that is fried. Again, that's just me. Great environment so do recommend. read more

My girlfriend and I came here Friday night to grab a few drinks after a hockey game. Boomers has an awesome patio so of course we grabbed a seat out there. I waited about 10 minutes before my went to the bar to order my own drinks. At no point during my time last night was I greeted, or asked for any drink orders. This is the second time this has happened to me at this location. There was a server in my section. She did pick up my empties, but never said hello or asked if I needed anything. Dang lady I would have given you all my money! Common! On the bright side Glenn and Hannah at the bar where awesome! Attentive, cool, friendly! Glenn and Hannah 5/5. Thank you two so much! It amazes me how different locations of this chain make up rules or regulations on the fly. Last night I entered the Grapevine location of this chain establishment. Asked the hostess for a table outside because I wanted to smoke. She seated us under cover on the patio. I asked for a different table further out in an uncovered area because I wanted to smoke a cigar. She accommodated my request. As soon as I lit my cigar a manager came to the table and said " I'm sorry sir, we don't allow smoking on the premises". I told him I had done this at this location before and had recently done the same thing last week at another location with no problem. He held his stance and repeated his comment. We decided to leave and I will never go back to this location. read more

I had gone here a week prior at lunch with coworkers and we all commented how good the god was. Definitely not the case Sunday, my husbands burger was so over cooked and dry. It was so odd. I had a buffalo chicken wrap which was amazing the week prior... this go round the tortilla was hard as a rock and my fries had zero seasoning on them. So strange. This place was so packed that I had to park at Olive Garden. We sat outside and they have TVs everywhere. The bartender at the outside bar must of been in a super bad mood, he seemed like he didn't want to talk to us and it took forever to get him to order us food. We ordered a bunch of appetizers that includes: Cajun, lemon pepper and Ghost Pepper boneless wings (not spicy at all). Also got the Jack Sampler which had the southwest egg rolls, mozzarella bites and potato skins. And too top it off got the Jack Skillet queso. Too finish it off got the turkey pretzel melt. I don't get the "average" rating here. This place was very solid. Loud, busy, but open and inviting. When you don't have cable TV and your team is playing such a minor game that almost no one is carrying it, you're a bit stuck - so I tried Boomer Jack's. As a guy who "hates" chains (local and national) and avoids them at all costs, I didn't have high hopes. I'll tell you what, I may break my "no chains" rule this football season. I walked up to the bar, was greeted promptly (although they were slam packed), and the manager promised to find my game when it was on. The beer was cold, the burger was outstanding (I'm not much of a burger guy but I'd get it again), and I even thought I'd try a dessert (based on my server's recommendation - the banana pudding) which was really very good for a sports bar. Honestly, I don't know how this place could have done any better. 4* because I've only been here once, but for a sports bar, this is about as good as it gets. Ignore the "I've been here 30 times but last night my fries were cold and they didn't kiss my a$$ so now 1*" reviews that are prevalent on Yelp. I normally have a good time at this place but this last time I got 2 drinks, for starters he threw the coaster down on the table while walking by when I arrived not even saying hello or anything. Then I ordered my second drink and specifically asked for a single this time, I got my check and it was a double, so I commented (i'm not someone to really care because I work in the industry as well and it's really not that deep) saying hey I ordered a single this past time so I shouldn't be getting charged for a double. They then went to say that i'm so sorry I thought you said a double (this was after everyone at the table also said they heard me specifically say a single this time) and kept my tab the same. I get it for charging me for what I got no problem but the issue was that they weren't very nice In general it was almost stand offish. Almost seemed like I was charged for the double just to hype up my tab to get more money out of me. Again, I work in the service industry so I understand how bullshit people can be but tonight was genuinely not anywhere near great. Great food and ambiance. Love the 1:1 scale model pieces around the restaurant. I'm a model builder so it was fun to see. We left choices to our server who did wonderful. Once again, another great Boomerjack's that makes me question why Arlington Boomerjacks is so horrible. The service was friendly and quick, we had drinks flowing the whole meal, the daily drink specials are fantastic, and the food is delicious. We like the 2 for $22.. We are able to get the skillet queso and I had a grilled chicken pesto melt with fries and tomato basil soup to dip. It was nice and lively with the NFL games on the thousands of TV screens. The patio was so cute, and the weather was perfect- but we had our toddler, so we opted to sit inside where it was less distracting for her. (She loves dogs and there were several. We would have been chasing her the whole meal!) Everything was clean and affordable. It was a good experience. read more

Ashley was the worst server I have personally ever had. Food took forever, she made awful excuses to why. Watched her stand at the service well and talk to her friends instead of checking on her table to see if we needed refills. She would not take the dirty plates off of our table so I set them off to the side on the next table so we had room. she then came around the corner and asked me why I did that and called me rude. a group of old friends met at Boomer's for lunch yesterday. and we had a wonderful time. we ate in the far room were the music didn't interfere with the chatter of old friends. the service was lovely. a young lady took good care of us with a beautiful smile. then my food, TEXAS BRISKET MELT | 10, was such a rip off. there was probably 2 tablespoons of actual meat. mix with a little cheese and onions spread on double decker of toast triangles. not a full sandwich nope a half of sandwich. tasted like grease a lot of grease. My first visit here was on Friday. I picked this restaurant because they had a nice happy hour menu and we were celebrating my promotion. There was no wait and we were seated rather quickly. I ordered a few gummy bear shots, a couple drinks and I ordered the skillet queso and salmon. My salmon came out cold and it was raw. I stopped the manager Bobby passing by and he had the kitchen remake it. Once it came back out it was really tasty. The server was really short with us but she got us everything we asked for so over the visit was fine. Because the drinks were so good I decided to bring my family back on Monday. The sever was not nice at all and she seemed as if she was bothered by our presence. Our food was fine, subpar rather this time. The drinks were still great however something was left off from my moms drink and she informed the person who brought the drink to the table. That young lady threw her hand up at my mom and said 'I'm busy and walked away'. Because I remebered Bobby from the first visit I asked for him to come to our table to inform him and he laughed and stated he would speak with her. When our server came back she said 'I heard you all had an issue with another server, she was rude or something?' I replied yes... She said 'i'm sorry about that, anyways, y'all need boxes'. Mind you, we were still eating so at this point I felt like they just wanted us out. Then she came to the table a second time asking if we needed boxes and I replied for her to bring the check.
