We started off with a Caesars salad which was one of the best I have had so far in the Temecula area, it was fresh and very well prepared. This was my first time here, and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is great -- the music is at just the right level, not overpowering like at some other restaurants where you can't even hear yourself talk. Tempted by the pictures and reviews, came here for late lunch (around 1:30ish) and only one party ahead of us, got seated in 2 minutes. We were seated outside corner . They took order pretty fast and we had an appetizer, pizza, calzone classico and Penni in meat sauce plus three scoops strawberry gelato. The dough for both pizza and calzone is chewy and fresh. The overall taste is good except the calzone is really watery when cut open. Meanwhile, it is on the pricey side perhaps because of its location --- in the center of the old town,Total about 125bucks. So two points off due to the gaps with high expectations . The restaurant fits for family and friends gathering , really spacious with a bar, bakery and gelato counter. read more

Horrible service. Overrated food. My chilaquiles were dry. The Ricotta pancake was overrated for 17 dollars one one pancake??? Had to ask for everything instead of what was needed being readily available. The plastic mats were all on top of each other when we were walked to patio, making it a hazard. I've always loved this spot in old town. The service is always fantastic. I usually stop in for coffee in the morning, but today I had lunch. Wow! the food was great. We had a salad and pizza and all of the ingredients were so fresh. Great authentic Italian food. Special shout out to the manager Cassie who was so sweet talking to us about the other family business they own. We plan to check out the winery next. I love love this place! It reminds me so much of cafes in Rome... it's so Italian! Delicious coffee and delicious food! We came in on a Saturday for brunch and had some pretty yummy Italian breakfast! It was my first time having an Uova Nitto Parlato, it was basically 3 poached eggs in tea soup.. it was very interesting and yummy, paired quite well with the breakfast pizza they offer! I put my poached egg on one of my pizza slice and it was heaven! Three of us share that and a waffle board with fruits and sweets. Their waffles is one of the best I had!!! Soooooo yummy!!! One thing I have to say is, I love Illy and they make my iced latte here sooo good! We were too full afterward for gelato but I will definitely come back! As a person who loves good quality food, I Love this place. I consider myself a foodie. We come almost every weekend. Sometimes we do breakfast and dinner. Definitely recommend this place. Don't forget to ask for the specials, they're always delicious, especially the seafood. Some of my favorites: Margherita pizza or the butcher. Salads: La Rosa Verde. Our first time here! My guy Zachery was our server today for lunch. You can tell he really cares that we have a great experience here, and we most definitely did because of his attentiveness and eagerness to answer any questions we had. Excellent customer service! Food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Linguine Al Frutti Di Mare and Fettuccine Alfredo w/ chicken (which we weren't sure they had because we saw it in Yelp photos but it wasn't on the menu, but again shout out to Zach who rushed back in to confirm that they did still serve it!). We came here for the coffee. I ordered a caramel latte and it was a great experience, the drink was. The flavor was spot on and it made me feel adventure ready. My only "complaint" is that the coffee wasn't hot enough for me, however the flavor was still delightful. The service was so friendly, so polite, and so welcoming. Don't get me wrong, the food is really good, along with the ambience. It's the service that's dropped my review down by a star. There are no signs that say wait to be seated, so I thought I was supposed to order at the counter. Wrong, it wasn't until I saw a party of three walk through the door and an employee seated them at a table that I asked if I was supposed to go find a table and order from there that the other employee behind the counter told me to do that. This is after I had been standing there for a while and she said she would be right with me. As in, if I didn't ask, she wasn't going to tell me. Okay, that one was on me. I didn't ask. I ordered a latte and frittata. Food is well presented and tasted great. Only thing is, my food was delivered before my drink. When asked about it, the gal who took my order said she'd go check, and came back with it in a to-go cup, stating they were out of mugs. Seriously? I may have been born on a Wednesday, but not last Wednesday. And the couple who came and sat at the table behind me got their drinks in a mug. Their second cups were in mugs, too. I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel this experience needs to be shared. We visited this restaurant and ordered strawberry ice cream for my toddler. While she was eating, we found two large pieces of strawberry leaves mixed into the ice cream. This was alarming, not only because it's unusual, but because it posed a choking risk for a small child. When we noticed the leaves, we specifically asked to speak with the person who scooped the ice cream. She simply acknowledged that they were "strawberry leaves," as if that was completely normal for strawberry ice cream. Then another server who overheard the conversation chimed in and said, "Oh, they're just strawberry leaves. She won't die, I promise she won't die from it." Hearing that level of dismissiveness was extremely unsettling. I was still bothered, so when our own server came by, we brought it up again. At least she apologized and said she would address it. It seemed the owner overheard her apology and asked what was going on, and when she explained what happened, he just looked at us and went about his business--as if nothing was concerning at all. At that point, I was appalled by the reactions. I couldn't even sit there any longer. I walked out and had my baby's father speak to them because the situation and their responses were not okay. Mistakes can happen, but the way staff responds matters. The lack of concern, the dismissive comments, and the absence of basic customer service made this extremely disappointing. Perhaps it was a very busy night and they didn't fully understand the extent of the situation, but even then, this is not how a business should handle a safety issue involving a child. It was a troubling and disappointing experience overall. read more

Terrible experience!!!! Server S rushed the entire meal!! She was extremely rude, 52 minutes before close she told us that she would have to rush our entrees because they closed at 10. Then she proceeded to not bring our food out until 950. It was very uncomfortable. The food was ok, we have been coming here for years and it seems like they don't care anymore.
