We visited for the first time today, for the Sunday buffet. So much food, and it was all good! Plenty of fresh fruit, cheese, cold items (including shrimp/cocktail sauce), and salad to start, then on to several hot entrees, and finally, to a lovely dessert spread. Server came around with huge steak skewer, and would cut to order, as well. At $19.95/person, including soda and water, such a great value! We remarked that it was about the same amount as Golden Corral last time we went, but the food was leaps and bounds better quality. Good service, too. Fantastic, delicious, and at a decent price point. My boyfriend and I LOVED our experience here and will definitely be coming back. Service was fantastic. Gary, our server, was so welcoming and accommodating. He was very quick to answer any questions we had. The food and drinks were even better than they sounded (which was pretty great to start with)! The atmosphere was perfect. Music just loud enough to set a tone. Easy to have a conversation. A great overall vibe. My first visit to this restaurant was amazing. I loved the feijoada and pastel. On my second visit we also ordered feijoada, pastel and coxinha. However the flavor was not the same, the first time was much tastier. The coxinhas was disappointing. The stuffing was dry and did not tasted like what we have in Brazil. I've never been to Brazil, but I've been to Brasilia! The brunch buffet here is a pretty amazing spread. I don't want to use buffet really, but it is a self-serve food paradise. They've got the savory, breakfast, American, Brazilian, and desserts all out for your personal pleasure. Brunch cocktails are mighty fine as well. As of writing this review, I've been to Brasilia twice- once for brunch and once for dinner. Each time, the chef was out visiting each table. Now at brunch I can see how that is a little easier for him. My visit for dinner was late and nearing their close, so that may be how I met the chef again. He's a very friendly man, as were all the staff I encountered each time. My dinner visit was extra enjoyable since it was my second visit, but felt like my first (my brunch here was my first time in). Everything was new again and it was awesome! I was with a friend and we lucked out- happy hour 2 for 1 Caipirinha. Fair warning, the 2 for deal is a slightly smaller drink than the regular-prices, but still every penny's worth. The food was fantastic! I was torn between two chicken entrees, so I asked my server for his preference. I went with his choice, the Frango Ao Molho Branco. Tender grilled chicken glazed in a white wine cream sauce. My mouth is watering again just telling you! My wife Roberta, who is Brazilian, ordered feijoada through a delivery app. It came without the beans, so we called them. They said they forgot to add them and offered no way to make it right. Then proceeded to hang up the phone on us. I would not recommend this restaurant. Poor customer service. read more

We were in St Louis on vacation and after seeing all the good reviews decided to have dinner there and it was a mistake. It was Sunday and they had the Churrasco Buffet, and they did not have al carte ordering but we decided to stay and have dinner. The hot items had been sitting so long on the hot plates that the items were hard and not fresh the meats that were brought out were so over cooked that it was like charcoal and when we asked for meats that were not so over cooked it took a while and it was raw. We decided to cut our loses and leave. We asked for our bill and after it was brought to us it was taken back, and we were told that they had not added the gratuity, when it was brought back it came with a 20% gratuity included for God awful food and bad service. There was also no A/C and when we were getting up to leave we noticed a roach on the wall. There are a lot great places to eat in St Louis skip this one read more

Hidden gem and an authentic experience. The pandequeso (cheese infused biscuit bites) are a must have alongside the feijoada. If you're lucky (as we were on our first and second trip) the owner will come and take some delicious Brazilian shots with you. Cannot recommend enough. read more

We went to Brasilia for our son's birthday. We were met by wonderful people who asked our familiarity with Brazilian food. We had a mixture and he was very kind with explaining the menu. The CAIPIRINHA is amazing. Plantains delightful. I am a sucker for both. Then they had specials this evening- lamb, red snapper, salmon stuffed with crab and an app of cheesy bread/ muffin. Omg. It was all delicious. My husband is allergic to fish and they made sure that there was not cross contamination. Chef George and his staff are amazing. Started this review and didn't realize I never finished submitting it. My dad took my family out to dinner for my wife and I's birthdays. This was the first time anyone in our party had eaten Brazilian food. We were excited but nervous. I'm embarrassed that I don't remember his name, but he was one of the most knowledgeable servers I've encountered. He was very patient with our questions and indecisiveness, as well as my Dad's dumb comments. He walked us through the menu flawlessly and double-backed a few times for our questions. I've been to Brasilia twice, and I'm a huge fan now. Both visits were during dinner on a Friday. I got a reservation both times for 6pm, but if you're eating as early as 6, you probably don't need one- they didn't get busy until around 7. The food is incredible- each time, everyone in our party ordered something different, and everyone loved every dish. The pastels, and tostada de camarao are great appetizers, and both times they had a cheese appetizer that looked like bread and melted in your mouth- but I don't remember the name of it. I've had the feijoada, the combo Brasil, the beef acebolado, the camarao ao molho branco, the bono de camarao, and the seafood paella. They were all great dishes. MY FAVORITE PLACE ON GRAND, HANDS DOWN. my friend invited me to brunch on Sunday and I've been dying to try this place since I live in the area and so does she. So we went. it's been forever since I had Churrasco or a Caipirinha, what a treat! The place is almost perfect. I love the ambience and decor, gives you that hometown hole-in-the-wall feel, but with top-notch service. The staff is very attentive and friendly without being over bearing. The food on the buffet was outstanding. Quality greens for the salad, my only major complaint at the salad bar was that they had neglected to put out utensils for the dressings, but it was still early in the service, and I just used the juices from my food to flavor my greens instead. The rice was fluffy and perfect texture. Even the baguette was soft and perfectly sliced. I had this creamy chicken in garlic sauce - the chicken was moist and perfectly cooked. They had a nice heavy handed dash of garlic to everything, so if you are a garlic person, this is your spot. I was also pleased to find sweet, plantains and fried yucca. I LOVE yucca! The only thing I had from the Buffay that was less than perfect was the fried fish, and that's just because it was cold, and the breading didn't have much flavor. But I always tell people here in Missouri that I used to live in New Orleans so I am really really picky about my fried fish. If they found a way to keep it a little warmer, that would have helped. also, didn't know what to dip it in, but no big deal, it's a buffet, so I had plenty of other things to eat. and of course they had the lady coming around serving thin slices of Churrasco from the great big skewer... So good, it was all I could do not to keep asking for more, but I stopped myself after a second helping so I wouldn't get indigestion from overeating! The meat was absolutely perfect... No need for any kind of salt or sauce, ringed with fat and cooked medium-rare. The Caipirinha was also very good, generous with the limes and the sugar, and whatever cachaca they used had really good flavor - doesn't bite you in the face like Leblon does. we met George behind the bar, whom I am, assuming is the owner, and he was very much fun to talk to you... Made you feel right at home... Adding to that wonderful local hometown feel that makes a dining experience so much more fun. He actually recognized my friend because her partner is a regular along the strip on Grand. so we talked about the local scene for a bit and he poured a sample shots of this other frozen drink they have on the menu. I can't remember what it's called but I will definitely order one next time! this is probably the best dining experience I have had in 2023 if not in the entire 2020 decade so far, and one of the best in St. Louis, so thank you so much to all the staff at Brasília for such a wonderful Sunday brunch... I had a dinner with a friend today at Brasilia and thought the food was tasty. The portions were large and I had enough for left overs. The restaurant has cute ambiance and is located in a fun neighborhood on Grand. I ordered the seafood paella and it had a large amount of seafood, chicken and surprisingly beef sausage (instead of pork sausage). I did think the food was too salty though, but still flavorful. I ordered the beef acebolado to go. This was a steak dish that came with rice, beans and cabbage. The rice and beans were tasty but the steak which we ordered medium well was burnt. I recommend ordering it a medium or rare. We also had an order of the pastels which was a crispy outer shell and chicken or beef inside, that was tasty. This was a good experience and I will most likely come back again to check out their Sunday buffet. read more
