We asked to speak w/ manager, and cashier/hostess didn't know their name....then said manager 'on break'. Had to ask three times to get the name of the manager. Reluctantly got a name.....'Erica' (but on break) Instead of waiting, we paid & left. Tip: Explain to your customer,PRIOR, THAT grilled chicken vs. shredded chicken is NOT an option for special. Bravos has been our favorite Mexican Restaurant since they opened. Unfortunately the quality of their food has rapidly declined. Husband went and purchased my favorite meal. Bean and Cheese Dip. Im terminally ill and on Hospice. Solid foods take too much energy to eat. Their original bean dip was thick, creamy, cheesy and delicious. I received basically a few tablespoons of refried beans and 80% liquid, thin, cold white milk. I stirred it up, the dip was as thin as regular whole milk. It was bean flavored, room temperature milk. It even stirred like milk. It splashed like milk. My husband took it and the food purchased in the bag and requested a refund. He asked to speak to the manager, they refused to speak to him. We will no longer order from Bravos. read more

We went in at lunch time and we're greeted by a nice hostess who seated us right away. Our server, Erica, came right away and took our order. She was very nice, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was very colorful and clean. We ordered from the lunch menu- a chicken taco salad with cilantro added and Lunch Special #1- taco, Chile Relleno and guacamole salad. Both meals were delicious. The guacamole was delicious and so was the salsa. The chips aren't my favorite but still good. read more

We were their first customers of the day for an early lunch, were seated promptly and the salsa and chips were there in a flash. Our server was very cordial and responsive and did a great job. The restaurant was well staffed and everyone was in a great mood with smiles abounding. The restaurant was clean and festive. Just a real happy place. I checked out their restroom and it was super clean as well (always a good thing to evaluate). The menu is well laid out with lots of pictures and separated by food types. This was our first visit so I went through the entire menu and I was impressed with the selection and prices. Probably the only knock I had about the menu was it was physically very large and was difficult to manage with drinks on the table. Speaking of drinks, they were very reasonably priced and large! My iced tea was served in a 32 ounce glass and my wife's $7 draft beer was in a big frosted glass 32 ounce stein. We had the taco salad from the lunch menu... they were hot and delicious. I will be back to check out the other menu items. All the meals that I saw coming out of the kitchen looked great! read more

I've been here a few times with friends to take advantage of "happy hour", but you pay for it with your time. If you don't order food, you're usually forgotten (or ignored) by the staff. If you do order food, it negates the whole point of happy hour due to their pricing...a bit of a catch 22. Yes, their food is quite expensive for what it is. Basic entrées (for example taco or burrito w rice) are $10 and up, while most dishes are in the $15 range. Factor in drink, tax, tip, etc and you'll be paying $25 a person here, most likely. Keep in mind this is literally a chain restaurant in the corner of a pop-up strip mall. One bright spot is they do have an outdoor eating area, but it faces west so you sit in direct sunlight in the afternoon. They do have sunshades, but only once have I ever seen a waitress lower one for a customer. Most of the time you see people sitting with their back to the sun, or attempting to lower the blinds themselves. If you want good Mexican food, do the right thing and eat at one of the true examples around the area. read more

We went in on Sunday Evening. They were fairly busy so we knew we would have a wait. Got seated and a lady brought us chips and Salsa. Then we sat there over 40 minutes, no one came to table. No drinks nothing. Another couple came in a were seated across from us. Within 2-3 minutes the waiter was getting there drink order. I got up and left. read more

We have caught them charging us more than the menu says 3 times now and we won't be going back there again or to any of there Toro locations either. They keep saying we must have accidentally gotten an old menu and they can't do anything about it because the prices are higher now. And the Manager woman gets arrogant about it and just walks away if you complain. What a bunch of crooks. Check your bill closely if you make the mistake of going to this place.
