Pretty darned good. I am not a beer drinker so I am unable to appreciate that facet of their business. My opinions are formed solely on the facility, food, and service. The facility is adequate. There was effort put into making it attractive as well as functional. The chairs are comfortable, the overall look has a polished-rustic finish to it. The first few times that Mrs. B and I went, we sat down and enjoyed full wait staff service at our table. Today when I went for lunch, we got to order at the service window, get issued a number, and then be seat ourselves. It didn't take long at all for the waiter to bring our lunch. The system worked pretty good with the large number of people that were there in the small number of staff they had working. I was impressed. The food was good and reasonably priced. I went for the spinach salad and the Good Dr. had the veggie sandwich. The quality of the produce was very fresh. My salad was modestly dressed relying mainly on the various ingredients to bring it to life. It was very well thought out, way beyond greens on a plate. The Good Dr's sandwich was of the vegetarian variety on fresh bread that was full of nuts and seeds. We were both happy with our choices and would happily return. read more

Delicious sandwiches! They bake the most delicious bread! Tried the Basil Pesto grilled cheese and the Ruben. Grilled cheese came with tomato soup as a dipping sauce which was perfect. Ruben served with potato chips. Went for lunch and service and food were fast. Highly recommend! read more

Missed the Beer and Bacon festival so my friends and I decided to try this place out. This was a pretty chill spot. Neat light fixtures and pretty modern set up. My friend and I tried the Grilled cheese sandwiches. He had the Apple Bacon and I had the O.G. They were both delicious. My other friend ordered the Roasted Goat Flatbread. Excited to have something new in Anchorage and right next to the soccer fields at Waldron. The decor is great inside and the playlist was excellent. We had sandwiches on our first visit but will try the flat breads next time. The BLT was a winner with the egg on it! The jalapeño popper grilled cheese was perfection. Prices are extremely reasonable, just realize that sides are separate. Excellent beer and wine choices, will be coming here a lot this summer. read more

My dad and I went here for a father daughter lunch today. The salads are really good in person, better than they are when they arrive from DoorDash and the personal size pizzas are just the right size. What really made this trip great was our server. Even in a wrist brace she had her 'A' game on and was awesome. She caught when I made a mistake ordering and fixed it gracefully without making me feel like a burden. Stopped in for the first time on the fly with my 5 and 8 year old for an impromptu dinner. Soft pretzel was a strange surprise - not like a traditional soft pretzel in either texture or presentation. We all wished it had big salt crystals on it rather than fine table salt. Caesar was very good. Mac n cheese ; pleased adult and kid alike. Sliders were well presented but were a flavor disappointment due to the overwhelming use of Worcestershire in the bacon jam. Flatbread cheese pizza was a hit with the kids, and the blackberry classy trashy was a hit with mama! Overall a positive dining experience, and we will definitely be back. read more

VERY poor customer service. Ordered food at 11:15 for pick up. Food was not ready until 1:45. While waiting for over half an hour at the restaurant, someone sitting at a table finally clued in the manager (who had also been sitting at the same table the entire time I was there) that I appeared to be waiting for my order. the manager then went behind the counter and a little server came up and asked if I was waiting for an order. I shook my head in amazement and said, yes, I have been waiting for over 30 minutes, this food was ordered 2 hours ago. (That's when she got a real Sh*tty snarky attitude (and made her employer lose a $100 tab) and asked what my name was and I told her. she then asked what I ordered. At that point I was done; I told her they should have a record of what I ordered as I had ordered online and told her it might just be easier to cancel the order, as I was done waiting. Amazingly, the food was out in less than a minute, which once I got back to work (a 3 minute drive) made perfect sense. it had obviously been sitting there for a while as all the food was cold and the flour tortilla's even had time to get hard. I will say after I confronted the manager about the extreme amount of time it was taking and the Sh*tty attitude of the little server girl, she comped the order. Others may love this place, but I just to not see it. their food is just mediocre. in this hard time for restaurants, you would think they would cherish every customer that walked through the door. That was not my experience. I will spend my money elsewhere, where it is appreciated. My bill was almost $100, but a waitress w/ a sh*tty attitude made them lose that $100. My family visited this place for the first time on Sunday. We all had really lovely meals. Their tomato bisque and Hungarian Mushroom soups were delicious and the various grilled cheese sandwiches were tasty. HOWEVER.... the service was really disappointing and slow. They were short-staffed and disorganized. Beers were poured and not being served. The orders were left sitting on the counter for about 20 minutes not being served, getting cold. And the staff was apologetic but it still took a long time to get our meal. We had to ask for silverware and water. We did get a free dessert as compensation. It was a bit overpriced, as well. Overall, great food but poor service. Here's hoping they work out these issues soon. read more

A decent place for drinks & grub! The margarita is an EXCELLENT deal, and the truffle fries I got were superb. The hungarian mushroom soup doesn't measure up to Moose's Tooth so I'd err on the side of getting their tomato basil instead. Ordered delivery from Grubhub my first night in town because I didn't have any food in my apartment yet. Ordered the Dill grilled cheese and a cup of tomato basil. Delivery was super quick, so their kitchen must have pretty good turnaround times. When I got my sandwich the cheese was still melting down the sides. At least as takeaway, their grilled cheese does come with a large ramekin of tomato soup for dipping, so keep that in mind when ordering sides! Flavor wise the Dill was one of the best restaurant grilled cheese sandwiches I've ever had. The sharp cheddars melted well and the pickles had a good strong Dill taste and were still crisp. The tomato basil soup definitely has a really sharp flavor-maybe a lot of parmesan or garlic or something? It was really really good either way. This will definitely be one of my go-to sandwich places now! I look forward to dining in, I've heard they also have great drink selections in house! read more

Kinda messy-food still on the ground from earlier I guess....but what I couldn't ignore was the fact although we paid and tipped first as though we were getting restaurant service, we did not. After we sat ourselves, our beer and food came all at once, in take out containers, and that was the last time we saw our server. This restaurant is a bit outside of downtown and looks unassuming from the outside. I was pleasantly surprised! I got the jalapeño popper grilled cheese, tomato soup, and soft pretzel with beer cheese dip. So good! The grilled cheese is a bit spicy (as expected with jalapeños), but the cream cheese and bacon balanced the heat nicely. The pretzel and cheese were also good. It was also pretty cheap compared to most restaurants in Anchorage! Only complaint I have is they didn't give me silverware with my To Go order. So far I have had two great meals there once for Saturday Brunch and another for mid week lunch and had great service. I didn't give it 5 stars because the one thing I didn't like was the order at the window like fast food at the mid day lunch.
