PRO TIP - check the Great Harvest website before you visit the store to know what breads and deserts are available that particular day/month. Also since the store makes bread fresh every morning, they don't have bread available right when they open, instead show up 2-3 hours after they open to get fresh bread. PRO TIP #2 - Save the label from each loaf you buy since for every ten or so labels you get a free loaf. The only negatives is that their parking lot is a little tight to get into and out of and their bread costs about $2-$3 more a loaf than the cheaper store brands. But once you taste it you'll know it's well worth the price.

If you went to a high-end grocery store and got a bunch of sweet breads, regular bread and a full, massive tres leches cake, you'd be in for way over $100. Here, you're way under $100. I live closer to Maple Grove, which is why I ordered from that location, but since I was commuting to Burnsville, the timing was really important. The woman who took my order didn't write everything down, so the store called me Tuesday. No big deal. I was actually glad they double‑checked. But that's when I found out the online menu doesn't match what they actually sell. I wanted two dozen rolls, half cinnamon and half caramel. Turns out caramel rolls with nuts are still listed online but aren't even available anymore. Whatever. I adjusted. When I showed up Wednesday at 7am, the woman at the counter clearly knew I was the one picking up the big order. They weren't busy, but she started running around like she had no idea what was going on. She told me the rolls had *just* come out of the oven and she needed to figure out how to package them. It was already past my pick‑up time. She apologized, but I was frustrated. I asked how long it would be, and she said five minutes. I didn't walk out until after 7:15. If you commute, you know how much that throws off your whole morning. And then... the cinnamon rolls weren't even frosted. The presentation was honestly pretty sad. When I asked about the frosting, she hesitated and then proceeded to go in the back to fill a cup of their icing. I won't be using GHBC for corporate events again.
