It's a good brunch meet up spot. My husband and I met up with my friend to try a place new to all of us. It did not disappoint! I was greeted with a friendly smile & immediately placed on the waiting list. At around 11am there were numerous people waiting, but we were seated within 15 minutes. It's very clean inside, which is always a deal breaker for me. Our server was very patient & made sure not to promise anything without confirmation from the manager first. This was all done in a courteous & efficient manner. I went with the brickhouse big boy combo which consisted of a large Belgium waffle that had a distinct flavor of vanilla and was cooked with a crispy outer layer but soft on the inside. Just the way I like it! It was accompanied by a protein of choice, I opted for the sausage Pattie's which came with two, 2 eggs but I was able to substitute it for a side or non meat side. I went with the fruit. It also came with home fries S an option. Everything was delicious & came out relatively quickly. My husband had the hash & eggs served over a skillet of home fries & a choice of toast or pancakes. My husband went with the pancakes. My friend chose the croissant French toast which she thoroughly enjoyed. The waitresses were hustling & tables were cleaned in a quick fashion. This is my mom's favorite restaurant. I get really good service from the waitress Brooke so if you get her you should be excited. I like how on Sunday's they sell only breakfast. I came here for some breakfast on a Monday morning. I was by myself so I was happy to see they had a counter. The hostess led me to a booth, but that worked out much better. My server was okay. What I mean by okay is that she did her job okay, but it would have been nice to have seen a smile, maybe a "good morning". I ordered a hot tea, ice water, and the eggs and corned beef hash breakfast. When she came seconds later with a fancy box of teas for me to choose from, I asked her if I could take a picture and she didn't answer just looked at me. I thought this was a little rude, not to mention strange, to be honest. Anyway, my breakfast came pretty fast, and it was very good. The only thing that did not impress me was that the potatoes were not hot, they were just warm. The fact that they were seasoned with some onions made up for it. In conclusion, the service was good but her personality should be friendlier in my opinion. The restaurant seemed to have been recently updated. It was very clean and modern. All in all, I enjoyed my breakfast. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant was clean. I would have liked to have had a friendlier waitress. Those that serve customers should be pleasant. This was my first time dining at this restaurant. My mother and I were in the area, and she wanted breakfast. I did a quick YELP search and this restaurant seemed to have high ratings and fairly above average reviews. With my mom, she can be super picky, so wherever I picked had to at least be 4 stars and above. Well ... we arrived about 1030 am and I could already see folks outside the restaurant waiting. IMO, this is somewhat of an indication that this food must be good enough to wait in the heat. I put my name on the list, but was not quoted a wait time. It was cool, but if the wait was longer than 15 minutes we would have dined elsewhere. Well 10 minutes later, my buzzer started beeping to alert us that our table was all set. The space inside is airy and spacious... I love the atmosphere already! Upon walking in, there is bar directly in front and it sits about six. I believe I saw three dining when we entered on Sunday. My mom and I sat at the first booth to the right... great location! Our waitress, Carson, she was on point and checked on us when needed. No complaints at all. I highly recommend you check out this family style restaurant. I had the steak skillet and my mom had the hash skillet. We both ate all of it! The flavoring lacked a bit, but it was still good. Hence the minus one star. I added jalapenos for a touch of flavor and spice. My pineapple mimosa... I finished that in like 3 minutes... very tasty! This space is super cute for you to dine alone, with family/friends or even making it a date day/night. Sundays are for brunch only... 7am - 2pm. Parking... it was not a problem for us. A nice little weekend brunch was just what I needed! My daughter-in-law found this spot with her mother, so of course we came here to eat! Our nice little party of five was seated just in the nick of time and right before the brunch bunch at nine thirty in the morning. The menu has lots of good looking options but of course my insatiable sweet tooth always gets the best of me. Unfortunately, everyone else orders the country fried steak or skillet, and guess what? My blueberry croissant French toast is the only thing that gets overcooked, so my plate is the absolute last thing they brought out. But our waiter was beyond attentive and well mannered to boot, so I didn't mind waiting. Plus, my coffee was refilled quickly and I never had to ask, so that's even better. Never knew this place existed! So glad we have this place a try on a Friday evening. First Impressions: Loved the modern setup, decor, & color theme. They greeted us right away as we walked in and seated us right away as well. Although the staff doesn't wear masks, the bathrooms were pretty clean. Service: They we're on point! We had two waitresses, but both provided excellent service even though one was in training. Never had to ask for anything! They did so well, I was impressed. Food: So surprised how good the souvlaki gyro was, the meat was not dry at all! We had the clam soup which was more on the vegetable soup side. Bloody Mary and Hawaiian Mimosas were perfect. This location has held many different restaurants over the years. Finally, a decent eatery has settled in - Brick House Diner. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner - specializing in their steakburgers, mimosas, and homemade desserts. Their menu has quite the selection of dishes though - subs, pasta, wraps, and different large plates such as smothered chicken. All of this comes at a great price, too! The seating is cozy, mostly booths. The service is kind and accommodating. I went here with my friend as it is right next to his house, and he recommended we go here. We were quickly seated and I ordered a calamari appetizer, along with a crab cake sandwich with fries and co. My friend got a BLT and applesauce. Don't ask about the applesauce, I don't understand him either. The calamari was crispy and delicious. I enjoyed the marinara sauce with it - which is saying something, because usually I'm not a fan. And I loved the crab cake sandwich. It was fried to perfection and tasted fresh. I wasn't a big fan of the remoulade, but I got it on the side, so that was a good thing. The fries were really good and seasoned properly, also crispy. The coleslaw was sweet, how I like it. All condiments were provided to me in bottles, even mayonnaise, which I was delighted by. As my friend recommended his place, he already knew the food was great, of course enjoying his BLT. It looked loaded up with crispy bacon. Yum!! We will be back before long, for sure!! Snide waitress that was visibly disturbed when asked about food allergies and stated, "This is a Diner!". Asked if eggs could be simply cooked scrambled in a microwave "no we won't do that.". Wife has life threatening dairy allergies that require use of an EpiPen so obviously we were concerned. Bathroom automatic soap dispenser inoperable with stool dried on the toilet lid. We are used to having to having food done separately with use of oil vs. butter, but this restaurant was less than willing to even try to accommodate. Enjoyed breakfast this morning after church. I ordered the biscuits and gravy combo. Two giant flaky delicious buttermilk biscuits smothered in sausage gravy with two eggs anyway you want them. My wife had an omelet combo. Service was excellent, thought they were busy. Coffee cups were never empty. Great atmosphere with a friendly staff. What was unusual is I had to ask for a to-go box for the one biscuit. They were that big. If you're a biscuits and gravy connoisseur like me, give this diner a try. Awesome. read more

We had the hushpuppies, which were sub rated at a 3.5 (but with potential to hit a 4). They were good and crispy, but a little dense, and came out warm, which allowed the puppy to become dense. I then had the "real deal burger (tm) ", probably not actually trade marked.... it had an egg and kielbasa on a patty, but I couldn't really taste the kielbasa at all. The bun was great, and held its structural integrity throughout the burger experience. The best part was the sweet potato fries, which were cooked just right and nice and flavorful. Service was good, and got a special request order right. Which is always hit or miss. Ambiance of the place was a little noisy, but it's a diner. It's diner noise. Oh. Final note... if you drive by, and it looks packed, it might not be. Ugh I wished I got her name to thank her. She could be the owner or manager. It looked like she managed the Front of the house and possibly the BOH as well. The girls that worked there were entertaining, sweet, and seem to be learning the ropes as they go. I ordered the BHD Crab Benedict that came with a side of home fries. The hubs decided to try something different than his usual order of pancakes and corn beef hash at breakfast joints to a western omelette with a side of white toast. Our food was made fresh and in a timely manner. We cheers our mimosa and started cutting into our dishes. The hollandaise sauce covered the poached egg. I pierced my fork into it, and watched the yolk ooze out. It cascaded down the crab cake, spinach, tomato, and toasted English muffin. I immediately made sure I had all of that in my mouth. We asked for a booth and the hostess walked us past 3 empty booths and directed us to a table by the bathroom door. We asked about the empty booths and she said it would never a 5 min delay. I ate here the other night with my fiancee and ordered the pork chops. Started feeling sick by the time I got home and by midnight I was throwing my guts out And was incapacitated for 2 days. Thought I would do the right thing and call the manager to let him know he might have some bad pork And he said "There's no way that it could be them because food poisoning doesn't hit you that fast." I have had food poisoning before and I know how it feels. I would not feed my dog in this dump. Looks nice when you walk in.But you better watch out what you eat if you still choose to go there. Obviously, this manager has never been poisoned by his food,Surprisingly, but I'm gonna tell you that 2 days of throwing up and sitting on the toilet is no pleasure cruise and I know it was this place that did it because it's the only thing I had eaten all day.
