This place should be in Beverly Hills! All the ingredients they use are The Finest Quality. I know someone who works there & they tell me the owner is very picky when it comes to the ingredients. They do Not use corn syrup, they use the finest chocolate, organic cream & freshest fruits. The pastries here are better than at the "pâtisseries" I've been too! Moist, delicious Velvet cake, creamy Tres Letches, moist, flavorful Carrot cake, the Tiramisu is filled a thick layer of silky smooth marscopone cheese and there pecan pies & baked goods are fresh everyday! I used to order many pastries from them only because their pastries were good. The owner does not seem welcoming at all. I stopped coming here because I ordered a Tiramisu cake. It was disgusting! I've been driving past this delicious place for months now and finally decided to come in on Saturday. I'm so happy I did. To start, the customer service was amazing! The attention to detail with the pastries is second to non! So many options to choose from, I decided to take a litle of everything. The creme brulee was amazing, my wife loved the cheesecake, and the red velvet cupcake was perfect! The brioche was perfect in taste, texture and price. At under $3 a piece, it's around 8 inches in diameter. Awesome! Good to share. But you'll want more than the brioche! Everything looks so good! Their red velvet cake was simply the best red velvet I've had. It was moist and delicate. I loved the crushed walnuts and the light frosting. I would have liked a stronger hint of chocolate though. I also liked their vanilla and pistachio macarons and their chocolate tort. I look forward to gradually trying their other baked items in the future. I happened to stumble on this bakery by chance and it was actually really good. Apparently, this bakery opened a few months ago and it's family owned. They're limited on the items that they sell but what they do have got thumbs up from my family. I bought a handful of pastries and everyone seemed to enjoy them. I was in the city of Montebello on Sunday. My boyfriend was getting tattooed and I didn't want to wait around. So I looked up a coffee shop, Brioche Pastries looked good and was withing walking distance. So I went and I'm so happy I did. The customer service, the shop, the music, and most of all the drinks and pastries, were amazing! I had a great time sitting there, studying, and taking in the goodies and atmosphere. Finally got a chance to stop by this tiny hole-in-the-wall in Montebello! The store is pretty hard to spot, so turn that GPS on, and watch for the sign! Must admit the surrounding area is not exactly the nicest, so we were pleasantly surprised upon walking into the shop. Inside there are a few tables and two cases of pastries. For the size of the store, there are a good number of baked goods as well as coffee offerings (lattes, iced coffees, etc.). I am a huge macaron fan, so I was eager to get my hands on a few of those bad boys. I was disappointed that there were no salted caramel macarons, so I ended up trying a vanilla and a lemon. The macarons were absolutely delicious!! The frosting inside was very distinct and tasty. The "shells" were perfect: soft and chewy on the inside, with a nice crisp exterior. Perfect! We also tried the Mexican wedding cookies which were delicious as well. Overall a great experience! Would be happy to go back, just wish they'd add salted caramel to their macaron gamut! read more

Review on food: I have been wanting to pick up a treat and coffee before work. Alas I start at 730 half a mile away. Nonetheless, great local business. The macarons have noticeable ground almonds in them. So it emphasizes the almond flavor that is undercover in other macarons. It also adds a nice al dente-like bite to them, although still tender at the same time; The rest of the composition melts like cotton candy in your mouth. The cookies are about the size of a hamburger patty. No joke. I had the pleasure of the chocolate chip. Half when I bought, half right now for breakfast. Location: very small place, I guess because they gear a lot of their sales to catering, but its comfortable and tidy. The worker there is friendly, but I can't say she's super knowledgeable about the desserts. Came in on a Tuesday afternoon, looking for macarons, and when I got there, the lady told me macarons are made to order and you must order 1-2 days ahead. -1 star for that, if they're going to have macarons on the menu, it would be nice to also have them on the shelves. Aside from that, I tried their sample of the white chocolate strawberry cake, and it was ok. Cake was very dry, and im not sure if its from sitting out too long or was it just normally dry. Anyways, that was just a sample, I decided to try the red velvet cupcake (Only $1.50! that's a steal now a days for cupcakes) and surprisingly, it was very delicious! The cake was moist & dense, the cream cheese was very creamy and not too sweet, topped with crushed pecans to add texture. Cute place! Let's just say that I am thrilled that a legit pastry shop has opened in Montebello. I have tried the fruit tart on various occasions and absolutely love it, the mini cheesecake with raspberries is delicious, the macaroons are good, and the chocolate cupcake is also very good. Although I have to admit that their lattes are not great. I've given their mocha a try on several occasions and I get a very watered down version of a mocha. I cannot taste the chocolate and the coffee is tasteless. I gave them five stars because I love their pastries to death and can always go elsewhere for coffee. read more
