3.9 stars for Broken Yolk. This is a great solid option for brunch! First of all, the ambience and layout of the restaurant is great, with plenty of windows, bright lighting and a hip, upbeat vibe. It's great for groups and large parties. They also had attentive servers who came to refill our drinks multiple times. They also provide free coffee if you happen to be in the front waiting around for a table, which is definitely a pleasant complimentary amenity. The menu has a wide range of options. I supremely enjoyed the Stuffed French Toast, which had rich mascarpone and a delightful caramel syrup. It was an indulgent but utterly irresistible dish. Highly recommend! I would come back just to try that dish again. Also, it was a good counterpart to the Ranchero Skillet we ordered, although I would have liked the skillet more if there was a higher proportion of potatoes to balance out the meaty dish, but both were delicious. Overall, I would recommend trying out this place at least once! read more

Terrible service. We ordered 2 mimosas at the beginning of service. Wegot one mimosa and didn't get the second until after all our food came out. We ordered both mimosas before the food. We asked our server multiple times about this multiple times and he didn't care. After that he just gave up on giving our table service. Terrible service mediocre food. read more

Great new addition to Glendora. A breakfast and lunch place- how refreshing! I believe they close at 3. The day we want it was packed to the gills. We had to park a half block away in a residential area. Be warned- the neighboring homeowners are understandingly grumpy. There was one in particular who watches you park and gives dirty looks..lol. Place is cavernous, crowded and very loud. Not a good place for an intimate convo. Babies crying, loud talking, the whole bit. Also whole we were dining, they were yelling about a challenge- they do have an enormous omelet meal and do the "it's free if you eat the whole thing" bit, like on TV. It's fun, but yeah, loud. Service was very courteous, friendly and fast. We had: chicken savory crepes. I did not try but the portion was big, and looked yummy. Dining companion was happy. I went with a classic: soup, sandwich and salad combo. The cool thing is, you can mix and match and here's the best part: don't have to choose between soup or salad! I hate that! You get the whole sandwich too. The BLT was on-point, as was the goat cheese and candied walnut. The tomato soup was ok, kinda tasted like Vons, nothing too spectacular. All in all we like it very much and will return. read more

There is a lot of variety and innovation on Broken Yolk's menu. I especially like the Golden State Benedict. The eggs are always well-poached. The sauce is tasty. And the addition of Siracha sauce makes for a lively taste. And if you're lucky and Courtney is your server, you'll have excellent service and a very friendly and personable experience. read more

This is before COVID restrictions... Every time we drive by this place is always packed. We decided to stop by for breakfast since it wasn't packed (weekday) before an appointment. It did not disappoint... the staff was friendly and the food was super yummy. Everything was fresh and not overcooked or greasy. The breakfast burrito not pictured was devoured by my son before I could actually take a pic. The place itself was well kept and clean. The servers bringing the food out wore gloves. Will be coming back her hopefully sooner rather than later. read more

Horrible service. We got there and all the servers avoided us 1 party arrived 15 mins after and had their order put in. Another 15 mins passed and another party was sat down and they ordered as well all while all the staff kept walking past us didn't even come to take our drink order. I came to the restaurant around 1:40pm for brunch on a Monday. I'm seated instantly, but sadly the server hadn't come for 20 mins. One of the servers stated "she'll be right with you" , but 10 mins go by and no other acknowledgment after that. I've gone to other franchises in the OC, and experienced far better and faster service, either during the busy weekend or slow week day. Won't be back. read more

This is the best place to grab brunch within the area! Chelsea was our server and she was really sweet and tentative. The price for the amount of food was fair, the drinks were great but if you haven't acquired a taste for grapefruit, you might not like that specific mimosa. Ur apart from that, we were seated immediately on a Sunday morning, the staff were accommodating towards our request to not be placed within a walking aisle, and we were overall pleased with our experience. Basically a glorified Denny's. The Cinn-Cakes were okay, the pancakes bottom were over cooked. The hot lattes weren't very hot, and the iced one was not very strong quite watered down. Inside is nice and new looking. The service is okay, we did have to wait a bit to get our check. There were some sanitation issues with the bussers. read more

I had a chance to stop by last weekend. There was a huge hype and a lot of people lined up for opening weekend. Boy, was the wait worth it. The service is impeccable , fast, and friendly. For a completely packed restaurant , they were pushing out very delicious food very quickly. After ordering , we got our food in about 10 to 15 minutes even though the place was packed! Must gets: Orange juice! Yum! Omelettes! I tried all of my friends and every single one of them was fluffy (not overcooked and rubbery like other places) and they don't skimp on the portion sizes. If you want bacon or sausage in your omelette you gon' get some bacon and sausage kna'mean? Country fried steak was delicious! Well fried so the batter is nice and crispy with some tender steak inside... the gravy is reeee-diculous. Nice whole chunks of sausage in that country sausage gravy. I definitely recommend anything with that gravy on it, heck you can hand me a shoe with that gravy and I could eat it! Must try: the iron man omelette challenge I definitely recommend stoping by to try pretty much anything on the menu. As the "oo can I try that" guy, everything was great! Three visits in... I'm ready to review I've tried a few of the "broken yolk favorites" and some regulars. All times I've been there before 8 am, so it's nice and quiet, and you get seated as you walk in. Service is always really good, and the food doesn't take a ridiculous amount of time to make it out. My only advice would be to stick to the american styled foods... I tried the Fiesta Burrito and felt that it lacked a little bit of something? Maybe a tastier salsa. The Borders Benedict were good and tasty, but my favorite so far is the Tiki Toast!!! It is a perfect blend of Hawaiian toast and not overly sweet. They do make a killer scrambled egg too!! I'm already ready to hit my rewards card goal. I like that you work towards getting a reward. Good addition to Glendora. read more

Yooooooooooooo. This place is legit. A few friends used to live in San Diego and went to the one in PB numerous times. They kind of made it their second home. I've always loved the libations and food. I had no idea this one opened in this area. As it so happens, I was in the neighborhood so we decided to drop by for a super early brunch. They are newly open, but they have their shit together. We only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. There's someone at the front who helps. We were seated fairly quickly. My friend and I started off with the mimosa flight. Best idea ever. You must do it. It's the right to do. Food wise, I got what I knew was the best thing in their menu. I got the chicken and waffle benedict. You know how I know it was the best - both my friends regretted what they got and made sure to have a bite of mine. I didn't get to taste theirs (regular c&w and sope benedict) Delicious food, on point service, great atmosphere and awesome location. Can't really go wrong. I'll be back. read more

We came for breakfast and got two combos with different kinds of french toast and both were really good. Maybe a little overwhelming if you're not craving sweet but it's ok we just had leftovers later on when our sweet tooths were feeling it more. Eggs and bacon/sausage were all tasty. I had planned ahead, and did the Crunchy Peanut Salad, subbed chicken with Tofu, extra Endamame, (I forgot to request remove honey peanuts), and asked if peanut dressing was vegan- Mike, the cashier, went back to check with kitchen, and yes, ingredients were only peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar & tamari! Perfect! The manager, Matthew, delivered our food to our table, and he said that Mike made sure the focaccia bread on side for me was wrapped separate, as it was vegan, yet in kitchen with possible cross contamination. Matthew said they are very conscientious if a customer is vegan or vegetarian to be mindful of their orders. I was completely blown away! Huge shout out to Mike, and the manager Matthew for the care that is so rare! I'll definitely be back more often.

After months of planning, I was naturally nervous, but Bill made the whole process so much easier. He was incredibly accommodating, patient with all of my questions, and always willing to work with me to make sure every detail came together. Most importantly, he was true to his word. Everything we discussed beforehand was delivered exactly as promised, which gave me so much peace of mind. The staff was just as amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that everyone was having a great time. They kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes so I could relax and enjoy such a special evening with my family and friends. The venue itself was beautiful, clean, and created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space, the service, and how well everything was organized. Seeing the look on my husband's face when he walked into his surprise party is a memory I'll treasure forever, and this venue played a huge part in making that moment possible. I tried asking another server, but he needed her to handle it. When she finally came over, she said she needed a manager to apply a coupon, but then got sidetracked helping another table instead of resolving it. Meanwhile, my daughter was getting restless, and I eventually had to go directly to the manager myself. The manager was great and handled everything quickly. Only then did Kai re-engage. To management: when guests are finished eating, getting the check promptly really matters--it's how the experience ends. I'll definitely be back, but hoping for more attentive service next time.

I had the 1/2 smoked/roasted chicken and my wife ordered the fish tacos. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the breast meat tender and juicy. The barbecue sauce they use is perfect for the dish. The beans were smoky and slightly spicy, a nice accompaniment for the chicken. My wife's fish tacos- white fish deep fried- was also very good. Almost a tempura type light batter and prep. We both ended up taking about 1/2 our dinners home as leftovers. I'm glad we remembered Frisella's. We will be going back soon.

If on a tight budget, the Good Company (Covina) is a prime location for casual drinking or hangout. It's food is not bad, but you can taste its affordability. I arrived on Saturday (around 5:40PM). Customers walk to the counter and order. Staff (Omar) is friendly and hardworking. He's seen constantly moving and interacting with guests. My orders arrived quickly. The Cheeseburger Bun was ready in 5 minutes and 36 seconds. The Matcha Berry Affogato arrived at my table in 9 minutes and 20 seconds. The food's presentation is memorable. The Cheeseburger Bun ($6) includes wagyu ground beef, melted American cheese, thinly sliced pickle, and fried thin onion slivers. Eating it with the white bun reminded me of sloppy joe in a soft taco. This very wet, mushy meal is cheesy and oily. Still, it's filling and cheesy with a very affordable price-point. The Matcha Berry Affogato ($6) is a scoop of ice cream swimming in a lake of liquid matcha. The flavors are decent but not memorable. The ice cream was chill and not overly sweet. Unfortunately, the liquid matcha arrived almost lukewarm. It would have been much more refreshing if the entire dish came cold. The presentation is eye-catching, but it lacked any real taste. Still, it's a very affordable experience. Concerning ambiance, The Good Company (Covina) performs extremely well. The location is very clean and comfortable with upbeat & fun music. There's also one flatscreen tv in the corner with closed captioning english subtitles. The location is well-ventilated, and the furniture all look very new and well-maintained. Even though the location is small, the colors and decor make it feel spacious and comfortable. Overall, The Good Company (Covina) is a good, budget hangout location. The food has an attractive appearance but its taste is unfortunately comparable to premium fast food. If heading there, bring good company and you'll definitely have a good time. 4 out of 5

We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. EAT Fantastic, Arcadia- Lean, well seasoned, bread pairs perfectly. A flavorful home run! 2.) The Hat, Glendora. This IS their moneymaker, after all... 3.) Legends, Glendora. Looks like I must've ordered the WDT (Wrong Damn Thing)... 4.) Route 66 Subs, Glendora.
