The setting is comfortable with minimal noise level even when busy. The staff is always kind and makes you feel like you're home. Always consistent. We enjoy the local feel and care we experience when dining at Brookfield's - they have a diverse menu and you can order breakfast all day - in our family one could have an omelette and another a burger, that is a plus when deciding where to go. read more

Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. We were visiting Roseville (outside of Sacramento) and wanted a good dinner at a place that was not the same old thing. He spotted Brookfield's from the freeway, and decided to give me a try. The staff was so friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. We had such a nice time chatting with our waitress and the host. Our waitress gave us some great tips for our visit to Roseville. The menu had some fantastic homestyle classics, like the delicious French dip that I ordered. But they also had some great, fresh new options we had never seen before, like an artichoke heart panini that was absolutely delicious. All of the food was wonderful, including their giant brownie sundae for dessert. We look forward to visiting one of Brookfield's 3 locations on our next visit to the Sacramento area. Severely disappointed with my curbside order today. Placed my order online for a pick up of a spinach, mushroom and jack cheese omelet. Added bacon and avocado for and extra $3. I requested an 1130 pick up time. Pulled up to the curbside area, called the restaurant and was told someone would be right out. Food was out to me within 5 minutes. Cool. The top to the take out container was not secure, the avocado was too brown for my liking (I did not eat) and the bacon wasn't very good. There was no fork or napkins provided. Maybe it was my fault for not asking for one? Thankfully I was able to dig a fork out of my glove box. I'm usually super picky when it comes to going out to eat cause I like to avoid disappointment but i was starving and hadn't eaten a meal in a couple days. I was very disappointed. We usually visit the Madison Avenue location, but we were shopping at the Roseville Auto Mall so we stopped at this location. Since we are still under COVID conditions, we got take out. I got my regular, which is their steak sandwich and oh so delicious. I opted out for the mayo and got steak sauce with it. The mayo that comes with it is spicy and I can't handle spicy. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and it was a lot of food. He is pretty picky about his chicken fried steak's and chomped it down with no complaints. We did see people eating inside, but we didn't want to take any chances, so we ate at home. read more

I was craving Thanksgiving dinner tonight so I ordered brookfield's turkey dinner which comes with turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing and cornbread. It definitely curbed my craving. It was delicious. The restaurant is always clean and the staff are always so nice and quick to help, even when they're busy. I think it's time I updated my review. I'm dropping a star. I've let it go the last few times and either the food or service has been hit and miss. On this visit, our server was a "Miss" Anyway, I'm not going into lengthy detail. She pretty much ignored our table and requests for items, never came around to check, and never refilled. Yes, I tried to give her the benefit of a doubt that she may be busy but I can't excuse it if she's overly attentive to other tables. Sad thing is that she wasn't friendly from the start. We almost felt as if she mistook us for someone else? We were glad when Brooke came over to tell us that she was taking over because our server was going on her lunch break. Brooke made it a point to refill our drinks and was very personable. The service was good. Bidenomics has hit this restaurant hard. The prices are much higher. Non-specials are $16+. The quality and quantity has suffered immensely. You will get better portions at a fast food joint. There is no care in dishing this food either. The best way to describe the food is "sad." Like a monochromatic soviet ration that most likely got microwaved. I wouldn't be surprised to be served my $20 meal in the "Hungry Man" box it came in. This place just made my permanent ban list. Dennys is a better option. The good news is, I just got prescribed antibiotics otherwise the limp, gray, anemic burger patty I ate might be more of a concern. read more

My first time at this location. I am a Brookfields fan! I was seated right away. And was served tea and a fantastic blueberry scone within minutes. My breakfast came soon after. Amazingly fast! The servers work as a team here, so I never waited for anything. So efficient! My San Francisco Joe's Special was soggy, darnit. And their version has olives included. Not a good idea. I think it should be EITHER olives OR mushrooms. Not both. Between the olives and sogginess, I could not eat them. Gross flavor and consistency. So I picked the olives out and forced the soggy pile down. The recipe needs tweaking imho. My server noticed my disappointment and brought me some beautifully scrambled eggs (no charge). They care here! The potatoes were perfectly cooked and yummy. I suggest you order anything EXCEPT the SF Joe's Scrambled Slop. UPDATE: they did not charge me for my SF Joe's Scramble. Well the past few times I had eaten at Brookfields Restaurant if you go on Sundays good luck getting good service . They usually have the best orange Juice ever! When I went to order OJ today the OJ was super watered down! When it usually has pulp and very thick which I love! This time it was so watered down with no pulp in it . I asked very politely if they can take it off my bill because they charge an arm and a leg for this usually great OJ. However what made be so mad was that my server didn't tell all her customers that the OJ was watered down . The customer next to my table said the OJ was bad and my waitress argued with her saying that it's ok if you put the watered down OJ in to make youre momosa . Our waitress was very backed up and she was stressed out so stressed out that she was taking out her stress on my order and the ladies table near mine. Not a friendly waitress. I know she was super busy with about 10 tables but she should not be putting her anger towards her customers. The food however was very good just not the service. read more

It is one of those "just okay" places. We ate here about 5 years ago and didnt really care for it but none of us could remember anything about it so we went back yesterday. Now I remember, lol. They still aren't currently seating inside and the outside dining was nice even though it was in the 90s outside, it felt pretty good. I love ham n cheese sammiches so I ordered the Sams Melt because it said it was shaved ham. To me shaved ham is thin sliced but this was thicker cut which was a turn off for me. It was more the thickness of breakfast ham which sine places will use on thwir sammiches and thats fine, just isnt for me. Cant stand thick ham on my sammiches. I ate half only. I opted for onion rings as I usually do instead of fries and they were good but not in house made for sure, I would say they tasted like the pre formed ones at burger king just larger. We have decided this will be our last trip here. It is not worth it for the quality of food you get for the high prices. I am sorry Sam, your sammich just isnt for me. read more

I bopped in here for an early Sunday dinner. I haven't been here in a couple of years. So I was excited to see that the interior had a slight remodel. Amazing what new paint, updating lighting fixtures, and adding modern interior design touches can spruce up a place making it brighter and cheerier. Anyhoo, the menu sticks to the simple traditional diner items. Basic comfort food down right-no new or hip food trends here. Breakfast served all day( except waffles). Varying price points, with value entrees. Kids 10 and under eat free per one kids entree for every one adult entree Monday-Thursday 4pm-9:30 pm. We ordered two items off the dinner value menu. Meatloaf, veggies, and mash potatoes $10.97 and turkey, mash potatoes, and baked pumpkin $11.97. The food came out hot. The meatloaf and brown gravy was simple and tasty. The mash was real potatoes, no faux food flakes. The baked pumpkin was delicious; baked to the point of slight caramelization that brought out the natural sweetness. Yum! The wait staff was on point. Moved to Roseville in April and it was not until New Years Morning we decided that, along with our over night guests, to go to breakfast. Searched "gluten free" near me and several places popped up. I needed a place that could accommodate 6 people, was kid friendly and of course had several GF options. Well, there was GF bread on the menu!! tons of meal options and kid friendly. I decided to call on the way to see how busy they were for a 6 top and was greeted with kindness and told they would have a table ready for us when we go there! GO Brooksfield!! The wait staff and hostess were very friendly. I saw so many smiles that morning and the food was really good. I can always count on a really good meal at Brookfields. The servers are fantastic and I'm sorry I always forget names but it doesn't matter because I've probably been served by all of them. It's one of my favorite restaurants. The only thing I haven't had are the desserts. I usually am too full to eat any more but I love the burgers, salads, sandwiches, fries, onion rings, and I've even ordered the turkey dinner not any time near Thanksgiving and the chef's always do an amazing job. We came here searching for a new breakfast/ brunch spot and we were not disappointed. The place was pretty busy with a lot of larger parties waiting for tables but we were able to be seated immediately. We tried the following items: Country Fried Steak $13 homemade CFS good sized tender portion with nice crunch. No hash browns here but the house potatoes were tasty. I tried the blueberry scone and that thing was the best scone ever! Stuffed with blueberries soft and served warm, simply divine. The only thing lacking for me was the flavor in the country gravy was a little bland. Shrimp Benedict $13 poached eggs shrimp avocado served on something soft, sorry can't remember what it was but definitely not a English muffin. My wife said this was excellent. Overall we really enjoyed our breakfast/brunch experience and we can't wait to come back for more SCONES, heck I don't even like scones but they were that good :) We got tired of the long lines and limited menu at 4 sisters so this is our new breakfast/brunch spot. read more
