Did curb side pickup tonight...they could use better signage on where to go because the pickup spots are now taken by outdoor seating (loved your set up, not comfortable enough to eat at a restaurant yet but with your makeshift patio area in parking lot you are tempting me). Got home with our food. Husband's french dip is missing the aujus sauce, he called they were very sorry, he went back, got the sauce and they gave a desert. Even with the occasional not so great, we love you guys. Hope you can survive COVID, don't want to see you go. Highly recommended them! Please eat here and support them. read more

I came here with some family who were driving through town and stopped in for a quick bite. I love that Brookfields is easy to get to off of the 80 and parking is easy. We came earlier in the evening, so it wasn't super crowded. The restaurant is very clean and spacious, with just the right amount of noise. Noisy enough that I felt comfortable being myself, but not so noisy that i couldn't hear people on the other side of the table. The food was tasty and served at the right temperature. There are a LOT of choices on the menu! They had some vegetarian options. It would be nice if they had a few more, but I was satisfied. There are some delicious looking desserts sitting in the front display case. We didn't try any, but maybe when I come back again I'll come hungrier! All the staff there were very nice and the ambiance was welcoming and we felt very comfortable staying as long as we wanted to. All in all a very positive experience and I will come again. read more

This is by far our families favorite place to eat!!! The food is excellent and they have a wide variety of food to choose from! The staff is always smiling and very friendly and accommodating. The manager Joe greets his guests and makes sure all is well with the patrons. I am so glad it is just a few minutes from our home here in Roseville. This is our second time coming to this location. We had a horrible experience here. We got seated right away, the waitress brought us our drinks and took our order, 20 min later she brought our food, and never came back. We waited for 20 min to get refills on our drinks and that was when another waitress came over after she saw us staring around trying to get someone's attention. The food came out luke warm, and had no flavor and was just gross...I had a greek omlete that was missing quite a few ingredients was mainly just egg, a piece of spinach and one tomato and hash browns that were burnt, and a scone. My husband had the country breakfast which he said was just ok...a little weird it didn't come with hash browns. Took forever to get our check also. The place was was pretty empty to boot so they can't say they were busy there was only a handful of people. We will not be coming back here again. Tried to talk to talk to a manager but no suprise no one was around in the front to seat people and of course as the the whole meal no waitresses could be found either. read more

I'm writing to let you know of a incident that happened tonight at your restaurant- there was a emergency situation at Sunsplash across the street ,Where somebody with a weapon was harming people inside of Sunsplash , A group of about 15 to 20 middle school age children were told to run because someone had a gun and was killing people and they chose to run to safety to your business. Obviously since they witnessed an attempted murder and the murderer was running alongside them they were hysterical and crying and scared. This happened approximately 7:04 PM and the manager of your store at the time I did not catch his name told them they needed to calm down wait in the lobby and be quiet because they were disturbing peoples dinner. As a parent we teach our kids to find the adults to help that's exactly what these kids did and they were turned away, Multiple kids claimed that they told them to wait outside because they were being too loud with the crying , One child was having a panic attack. Now though this is not your responsibility to take care of these kids to make them wait outside by themselves without an adult when they seaked shelter and safety to me is inappropriate and not a good business practice. I the parent went to speak to the manager to fill him in on what actually happened and he was confrontational with me he told me "that they were being loud and disruptive and he's trying to run a business" which I've told him I understand but that they were scared and they were trying to find safety and to make them wait outside and potentially put them in danger again was not the best choice. He then turned and walked away from me because he said he "didn't want to entertain what I was saying, he did what was best for his business and his costumers " I said that he should've had more compassion for them because they were terrified after witnessing a murder and a murderer running along side with them trying to escape and he said "oh well I didn't know that's what was happening" to which I said "then you should've asked them" He claims he asked them to quietly wait in the lobby and then he offered them water all 15 to 20 children have said that that is not the case that they were immediately asked to leave because they were being disruptive. When I arrived the manager was standing outside to make sure nobody went inside ,so you have 30 young kids scared waiting for their parents outside on the grass and in the parking lot. I suggested to the manager that this is probably not the first or last time something like this is happened at Sunsplash and that being a business so close maybe employees should have training on how to better comfort young children and help them by being a helpful adult not pushing them outside into harms way. To which he walked away from me and went back inside .As a business I'm sure that's not what you wanted either, I know it's not your job to babysit them but an emergency situation to take these kids and tell them to sit outside because they're disrupting peoples dinner I don't feel is the best business practice and if that is your business practice I will surely make sure that I don't eat any of your restaurants. This managers response to me an adult and parent was so inappropriate and very confrontational I approached him calm to inform him what happened he got defensive and then quite honestly I got angry and I was no longer calm did raise my voice at him because instead of excepting responsibility he just kept going back to where people were eating dinner and they were crying so loud. I LOVE BROOKFIELDS!!!! and the plus, they stay open late. You will never be disappointed going to Brookfields, wanna know why? Because Brookfields has so many different choices, anything you're in the mood for, you'll find on the menu, comfort food, healthy food, breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, fish, tacos, pasta, chili, corn bread. Brookfields has it all. Jeremy and I went to this location for the first time. We were expecting great food because we've been to the Rancho Cordova location so many times. Melissa was the server and she did a phenomenal job, thank you Melissa for the great service. I ordered a turkey melt with fries. Of course it was delicious, I knew that would be true. I just have to say, Brookfield's fries are way way better than the fake fries you get from Lazy Dog. I bring up Lazy Dog cause they are open late and we go there as a last resort. I will always choose Brookfields over Lazy Dog, forever now because the last time I went to Lazy Dog, the fries were disgusting, even after they brought me a second plate. Came here for breakfast last week. It was great for a good hearty breakfast. I had a poached egg, sausage links with a biscuit and fruit instead of potatoes. The sausages were tasty and not dried out or greasy. Poached egg was perfectly cooked. And the biscuit was PERFECT!! it was moist and fluffy, but still substantial. I try to limit carbs, but this biscuit is worth the calories!! And my daughter shared some of her pancakes ( big and fluffy, delicious!) Service was great, as always. We had a little bit of a time crunch, told the server that we needed to be out in half hour. And he made sure our order was out quickly and we were able to enjoy our meal without rushing, and we were on our way out with plenty of time. read more

Just left this place after the most horrible breakfast experience. Brookfields on Madison is great service and great food however we were surprised that this Roseville location had issues. Our food took an hour to get to our table we were missing items and the waitress did not care one bit about what we had to say. I finished my food and asked her not to bring my toast anymore she said I'll bring it now I repeated I don't want it anymore she brought it and plopped the plate right in front of me. The food was bland my guacamole looked like it had been left out all night ....... Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere anywhere is better than this Roseville location. read more

This place used to be our go-to restaurant for breakfast, but never again! What made our visit even worse was the fact it was our first time eating out since early March 2020 when the shut down occurred. 25 months! That's how long since we'd had a meal away from home! About the food...awful...except my husband's bacon. I ordered what I used to, the Brookfield's Pancake Breakfast which consisted of three pancakes, two eggs and bacon or two sausage patties. I opted for the two patties so that way we can share the bacon and sausage. He ordered bacon, eggs, country potatoes and sourdough toast. Our meals arrived and the first thing I saw was the patties were floating in grease. My stomach did a tiny somersault. I sat there thinking, "Now what?" As the waitress walked by I asked for more napkins and a to-go box because I always bring home two of the pancakes. I waited. And waited. I gave up and used my one napkin to wrap up the greasy patties and set two pancakes on top of the napkin bundle. Finally the extra napkins arrived and the to-go box, so I put the two pancakes in it, unwrapped the patties and wiped off the grease from my plate. Keep in mind my husband is more than halfway done with his meal. I noticed how much smaller the scrambled eggs portion was from what it used to be, which just added to my unhappiness so far. Then I made the mistake of taking a bite of one of the sausage patties. I could not spit it out fast enough! It was pink! Totally not cooked enough and the other one was the same. By the way, my husband asked for his toast twice. Nope. Never arrived. Now the costs! My meal cost $15.00!! Egregiously over priced! When the waitress brought the ticket we told her take off the sausage and adjust for no toast, which she did. Since the pancakes were over cooked I tossed them in the garbage when we got home. No clue why I bothered to bring them home. We will never eat at any Brookfield's again. We'd been going there since we moved to North Sacramento from Fremont, CA in 2011. It seems the shutdown weaned us off eating out as much as we used to! It certainly killed it for us from ever going back to Brookfield's. read more

Everything here is yummy, you can't go wrong. They have the best salad dressings, specifically the ranch and balsamic. The berry scones are delicious, filled with berries and have a light frosting, try warm with butter. Love their curbside, super fast and easy. Went here just to grab a quick bite to eat. I was disappointed by the wait staff. They were to preoccupied to be accommodating to the guests in the restaurant. After I received my Luke warm soup and cold sandwich that was suppose to be hot, I never saw my waiter again. To get my bill I had to ask another staff member to get my bill. My bill was dropped off on my table and I was informed I could pay upfront. I have been to this establishment many times and the service just keeps getting worse, I will not be returning. Need to update this review because things have changed. Went here with friends for dinner. Had the most delicious turkey dinner with a huge portion. The food came out popping hot. Being former weekly patrons we stopped coming because the food and service was so poor. This evening our food was not prepared correctly again. Undercooked food is no problem is addressed, however our server has been MIA for 28 minutes. Would really like to have our food issues corrected. I took my daughter and her friends here a few weekends ago and had such a great experience. We hit Brookfields right at the right time because literally no wait but soon after on this busy Sunday the wait was 45-60 minute wait. Our waitress was really great as well and made our daughter feel special b ringing out a brownie sundae for all friends to enjoy together and we got the restaurant involved to sing Happy Birthday. Everyone completely enjoyed their dishes and you know its good when teenage girls polish off their plates...this is a great local restaurant where the classic elevated diner food reign supreme. read more
