It's pizza. It's at the best frozen pizza, it's definitely not Brooklyn pizza or New York pizza or even New England pizza. It's average.

This was our third try with Brooklyn Pizza. We called the order in for pickup. I repeated the order a number of times (at least 3x)... pizza with pepperoni, salad no cucumbers, and 10 wings flats only. Went to pick up the order and the salad wasn't on the list (after repeating the items 3+ times when I ordered) I agreed to wait for the salad, paid for the entire order, and left a tip. The young man who waited on me went in the back. I waited a few moments for the salad to be brought up by another employee (nice woman) and I told her the rest of my order was by the oven, as well as telling her I'm all taken care of/paid up. Another young man (who was making the pizzas close to the front within earshot when I was first waited on) retrieved the rest of my order. I thanked them, grabbed my order, and proceeded to leave when this young man barked at me "did you pay for the salad?" Hmm. I patiently waited for them to complete my order after they got it wrong, paid for it in full, and also left a tip in which I'm not required to, and this kid literally BARKED at me thinking I'm trying to skip out on him not paying for a salad, which was grossly overpriced to begin with? On top of that, we get home to find out that the pizza that we ordered was wrong too (no pepperoni), and the wings were undercooked. I've been a business owner for over 15 years, and how you treat your customers is EVERYTHING, especially when you - the business - gets it wrong. Needless to say we will NEVER order again from Brooklyn pizza due to their lackluster customer service, poor communication, and subpar food quality. read more

I wish there was a zero star. I ordered two pepperoni slices and two Meat Lovers slices. The pizza was old, dry, and hard. I called and asked for them to remake it. The guy on the phone said no problem just bring them back and we will make it right. I get there and I ask for something else. Before he can even answer me this old lady comes and says nothing is wrong with the pizza and she is not going to do anything for me. I told her the pizza is hard and has been sitting she said its not. She claims the pizza is made fresh you can tell its been sitting for hours. Have come back to Brooklyn a couple times since my first review and have to say they earned their 5 stars. The pizza the last couple times has been just great. The last pizza we ordered was and XL 18' Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza and it was one of the best I have had. It's great classic NY Pizza. I have to say it is the best I have had in Bartram as well. Brooklyn is now our new home for pizza in Bartram and we will continue to come back. They have also started working with grub hub so you can now get your pizza delivered. Last time we came in the owner suggested try the Sicilian which is a thicker crust, so will be getting that next time. read more

I lived in Bartram Park back in 2015 and ordered many pizzas from here. The pizza was great and reminded me of my youth in New York. Fast forward to today ,life has me moving back to the area. This pizza place is in Bartram Park around the corner from Publix. They have daily lunch specials including slices of pizza or you can order full pizzas to stay or go. They also offer salads, drinks and desserts. I have personally only had the pizza and salad here. I also have only ordered pizza and salads for my employees so each time I have ordered 4-6 pizzas and a few salads. Their pizza is good. The crust is light and airy. It is not thick and doughy. They have many pizza options including white and vegetarian. Their salads are a good size and their homemade dressing is very good. The service is good and they will even help me load my order into my car. My only reason for deducting a star is the price. They can be very expensive for a large pizza and it isn't always feasible for me to choose such an expensive pizza place for lunch. read more

I stopped in here on a whim looking for some lunch, they have a sign out front saying "lunch special 2 slices and a drink for $5.99", it got me in the door. When you walk in its kinda chaos, stuff everywhere, but it did remind me of a NY pizza shop. They have 2 different lunch specials 2 slices and drink or slice,salad, and a drink. I got the salad, pizza and drink. I was very tempted to get some of the homemade Italian cookies sitting by the register (they looked good!) but I refrained this time. My order came out the salad was boring and nothing special ( lettuce, tomato, and onion) but the pizza was awesome!! It was that big slice where you fold it and stuff it into your mouth!! Yummy!! Crust was perfect not too chewy not too crunchy, sauce was flavorful, cheese was salty....Yea it was really good just plain cheese pizza, I will definitely go back and get more pizza! read more

I was surprised to see quite a few good ones here in Jax, but this is our fav! The size and quality for the price is unmatched! It feels just like the typical mom and pops pizza spots back home where Nonna makes the sauce from scratch! The highlight of this pizza is the SAUCE! Its slightly sweet but doesn't over power the pizza! So happy to have found this place, and if you're any true NY pizza, then you gotta go here! I found this place while staying nearby in a recent trip. I couldn't be happier that I found it. This place really took me back to my teenage years in 1980's New Jersey. The mom & pop styling, cool music playing and really good pizza. I had the best Calzone I have had in a long time. My wife had baked ziti and loved it. I've had pizza from here about 10 times so decided to leave a review. It's very good, flavorful pizza. I haven't ordered any other menu options because we're big on pizza in this household. The 3 star rating comes from the place itself & staff. It's a bit outdated, dirty, and the staff aren't very friendly or welcoming. Maybe this is exclusive to me... Again, if you want good pizza, this is a great option. As a warning - this place has no safeguards in place (from what I've seen) regarding the virus. No masks. No sanitizing. No social distancing. 12.11.19 another remarkable day. Took truck in for oil change. Found out needs brake fluid needs changing and front end alignment not bad since it is a 2007 Nisson Titan. Something to lookfoward too. As the day wore on next stop doctor being a Nephrologist doctor the visits Tend to be little scary. But as it turned out he is in agreement with the primary doctor do to proper meds everything has improved according to last blood test. So they were very happy . CUSTOMER SERVICE COULD BE BETTER! I'm new to the area and decided to give this place a try. It seemed I came in at the right time as there was only one person ahead of me. I wanted a single slice but was told it would be at least 20 minutes because they didn't have slices ready to go so I ordered 2 calzones instead. I waited but started to notice that 9 customer who came after me, within a span of 25 minutes, received their orders. I go up to the register to ask about my order and the older guy (might be the owner) literally shrugged his shoulders, turned away from me and returned to making pizzas! Then I heard him say to another worker, "if they keep complaining, I'm going to make them wait longer." That was the first time I approached to ask about my order! A few minutes passed and I saw them place my calzones in the oven. I place my order more than 25 minutes ago and they never even started my order!!! It took over 45 minutes total to get order. The food was okay. Another customer, placed an order for a pepperoni pizza but was given cheese pizza. The guy asked about his order and was told he ordered a cheese pizza. The customer seemed adamant he ordered pepperoni but decided to just take the order to avoid the conflict. A separate customer who was in line after me was picking up an order that was called in and was told her order wasn't ready. She asked if she could go to a store nearby and return in a few minutes to pick up her order and they were fine with it. She after 35-40 minutes later and they had the order wrong. I heard her say they were trying to give her an additional pizza when she only ordered one with half and half toppings. The order was wrong and they were trying to make her pay for it. She said never mind and started walking out. Apparently the order was nearly $50. The older man yelled, "What are we supposed to do with the pizza?!" to which she replied back as she left, "It's not my order!" This all happened within the hour I was there. It may have been an off day but they don't seem to deal with being busy very well. Food was decent. Needless to say, if you want to give it a try, either expect a wait, and if ordering carry out, double check you order. read more

My favorite NY style pizza in the Jax area so far. I have to share my first interaction with them as it made my wife and I laugh. I called and asked if they had NY style pizza and the guy on the phone said, "whats that?". Now I understand I called a place called Brooklyn pizza and asked if it was New York style(thats on me), but I would have expected a New York accent saying, "No, we serve Chicago style deep dish at a place called Brooklyn! While the pizza is good they do not put enough toppings on the pizza. We order sausage and there was hardly any on it. One slice side t even have any. I honestly love the food and most of the workers here. There's one man, however, who I believe is most likely the manager or owner, who tends to be mean or passive aggressive toward his workers, and seems to have a bad mood every time I come in. Don't be mistaken, the pizza tastes like authentic NY style pie. There are some things that leave something to be desired. The slices are smaller than traditional NY pizza so it leads one to believe they may be trying to cut cost. The wings are a complete disaster and should just be taken off the menu. If you do something well, focus on that. Don't add other menu items that are sub-par. It ruins the experience for your patrons. Aside from that, the place looks older than it really is and is kinda filthy. If they would clean the place up really well I would've given 4 stars. This review is not based on a one time visit. I've been in there several times. There is no doubt they stay really busy because the pizza is delicious. Take some pride in your restaurant and invest some time in cleaning the place up. This is a convenient spot for us and has been a quick and easy stop while we moved to Florida. Pizza reminds me of NY style Pizza which NY is where we moved from. As I sit here waiting, I'm getting annoyed by the ridiculously long wait for a slice of pizza and chicken parm sub. 25 minutes since we placed the order. The food better be good.... Just got the food, after a half hour wait. Mediocre at best. Chicken is just reheated and way to salty. Little to no sauce on the chicken parm sub. One small cutlet on the whole sub.
