San Luis Obispo location! I had a piece of hard black plastic in my burger. I don't know if it was in the meat ground in or on the burger inside. I bit into it and it was like biting a rock. It was our first time at this place and it was disappointing and gross. The young man at the register was also very much in his own world. We got the brooks burger and brew and the kid didn't get us the beers for 15min and finally my husband had to go ask for them. Kid was on his phone and then kept saying let me just get this customer and then he would get back on his phone. Very odd vibe. Once I bit into the black plastic in my burger I felt not so good and went to the bathroom which was absolutely the worst bathrooms I've seen. Worse than a park bathroom. Made me even more grossed out because, if the bathroom looks like that.... A place customers see, then what does the places like the kitchen look like????!!! Came here because we had a long ride and were craving some good burgers. Coming in the girl in the front had some really weird vibes and a bit of an attitude. We ordered our food and then she just tossed the receipt to us and rudely pushed the cups to us. The food was ok. The burger was a bit dry. Great place for a decent high quality burger....in particular the Wagyu Experience Burger. This is fast food done right! While I know this is hard to believe, it must be tried to be believed. The Wagyu Experience is lightyears better than any other fast food place. The service is friendly and helpful. The ambiance is pleasant, clean, and spacious. One good thing is that it does not have the standard dark bar ambiance. For some strange reason, it is only available at this location and not in Pismo. For those who do not know, BB SLO is a small local chain of two places. While SLOPM has some great eats, it is likely that BB is still a solid option for at least the Wagyu. Of course, one can get appetizers, deserts, drinks, or even a second course over in the SLOPM itself. It is great to have so many options here. read more

I ordered a regular hamburger and onion rings to go. It took over 15 minutes. while I waited, I packed some pickles and ketchup in there to go containers. If you're looking for more of a burger the Wagyu Experience and the California Kid were also great choices. Their burgers are great sizes and the portions will definitely leave you feeling full. I'll be shocked if our stomachs aren't messed up from the food. I'm an extremely picky eater, I ordered the big bird with no avocado or cheese (their display menu only said it came with chicken, bacon, cheese and avocado), low and behold it came with tomatoes, lettuce, a gross sauce and weird onions. I could only stomach half and even at that it was gross. My boyfriend got the tri tip dip and he said it's the worst he's ever had. Fries were subpar. We both threw away half our meals. For $38 you'd think it'd be better but whatever. Also, the bathrooms were revolting and smelled like pee. Finally went to this new location for Brooks Brothers. My husband and I went to the one in Pismo a number of years ago. I ordered a combo a hamburger and I received an 805 beer. My husband ordered tri-tip. I also ordered a side of onion rings, which were excellent. All the food was extremely good and tasteful and I was full. Service was great And we got our food in a timely manner. The place has lots of room with high seats and we prefer the lower ones so we picked a setting with low seats.
