Wanted to grab bunch while in PS and Brunch 101 popped up with great reviews. The place isn't as big as I thought it was going to be. It was pretty packed but we got seated outside immediately. Drinks were cheap compared to LA and San Diego and the food portions were perfect. Ask for the homemade salsa! I would definitely recommend. read more

I've been here several times and this place is amazing! Food is always good, great flavors. My boyfriend loves the steak sandwich and I'm a huge fan of the florentine omelet and chilaquiles. We both love their potatoes and French fries, great seasoning on them! Service is always friendly and fast! They make you feel so welcomed. The ambiance is cozy but fun and the patio is sooo cute. In the summer they have coolers and heaters in cooler seasons. It's definitely my favorite brunch place! read more

Saw this little place and we decided to stop by; it is the cutest place ever, the food was really good. Presentation was really pretty and the service was really good. I would definitely come back; we chose to sit inside just because it's a little warm right now, but once it cools down, they have a really nice covered patio which also makes it really cool! Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the food‍‍ but I will return. It was definitely yummy! I had the avocado toast with a side of sausage my stepson had the Chilaquiles with a side of pork belly. He said they were good, but they were definitely spicy and my husband had the smashed avocado Benny. read more

Came here for brunch of course and this place is awesome. A little smaller on the inside so call ahead or make reservations. Has a really nice outside dining area. Customer service was perfect. Our server took great care of us. The frozen mango mimosa was the best mimosa I've ever had. Definitely recommend trying that out. Chicken sandwich was delicious and the fries were fresh. Awesome food, made with care and love. Ordered the socal burrito but I subbed soyrizo and the French toast! Both were excellent choices and I highly recommend! I called for pick up and Jackie the hostess was beyond sweet, attentive, and accommodating. Amazing customer service from her all while she was also taking care of other customers, folding napkins, cleaning, etc. My food was immediately brought out and I was out the door. I love this place. Every single thing I've had on the menu is phenomenal. We've been coming to Brunch 101 for the last 4-5 weekends and have been working our way down the menu. What we've tried so far and what we think: Chilaquiles: Good Pork Belly Hash: Excellent and filling Ciabatta Steak: My favorite item. So good. So flavorful. Breakfast Burrito: Very filling and full of eggs and flavor! Avocado Toast: Needed some salt, but still quite good! Mexi-Cali Eggs Benny: Extremely good. Second best we've had! Eggs 101: Simple but fantastic. WTH do they do with their eggs to make them so dense yet so fluffy? Service is efficient and caring as well! We love all the wait staff here as they are friendly and attentive! Ambiance is solid, it's always packed so you feel like you're in a booming brunch place - which it is. Idk man. food was great but the service was rediculous. Sat for 15 min and no one came by, we had to go up to the servers for help. Food got to the table first and even a simple cup of coffee was not brought out till the end when I reminded them of it. Other than their policy of not taking reservations, this place is a solid five stars. It looks like the brunch concept works- happy looking crowd filling just about every table. Service was great. From two diners/dishes, the food was delicious, nicely presented. Special mention to the biscuits & gravy sliders. Perfectly cooked, well conceived. This place/concept may not be for everyone but it's a great choice for breakfast/brunch/lunch. I'd go for dinner if they were open and I could find a fellow enthusiast. read more

Highly recommend due to the unique, flavorful food, amazing drink selections and a nice variety of menu options. It's right on the main road, was only a few minutes from our resort and there was plenty of free parking. We chose to sit outside due to the wonderful spring weather although they also have indoor seating. No wait on a Saturday morning. We enjoyed a huge, flavorful omelette, avocado eggs benny, and a delightful hibiscus mimosa. Prices are very reasonable for high quality, fresh food. read more

The first time we went, with a group of 6, we waited over an hour for a table then left, never having been seated. This place is SMALL, and there are only a couple tables for large groups. Today, we returned with just 2 in our party and were seated immediately. The menu is sort of limited, but sufficient for breakfast or lunch. The coffee is GREAT! The food is good, I have nothing bad to say about it, but we weren't "wow'd." We live in Indio. It took us over 25 minutes to drive here. The food is good, but no better than Shields. Shields has many more pluses, including a shorter drive, huge patio seating, and more menu choices. If I lived in the Cat City area, I'd come back to Brunch 101 because the food is good and the coffee really is great. Service is ok, but not terrific. Since we don't live near Cat City, we probably won't br back because it's just not worth the drive. People in the East valley: try Shields or Cupps! read more

Tried Brunch 101 for the first time. The service, the vibe, and the amazing staff in the kitchen made up for my somewhat mediocre meal. To be fair, the meals my hubby and sis-in-law had were good. What impressed me the most is I asked about the odd flavor of my gravy (biscuits and gravy sliders) because it seemed off. Edible. Just not what I was expecting. The three in the kitchen got wind of it and actually THANKED me for the feedback. Before I knew it, another smaller portion arrived at the table for me to try! They wanted me to tell them if they had improved it after copping to the fact that they had tried to fix the original batch. THAT, my friends, epitomizes good service. Kudos to them! We will be back. Small place with good food and good service. Had the so-cal burrito. Good sized with a side of black beans. Chorizo had a good flavor. Side of verde salsa was spicy and tasty. Overall very satisfying. Also had the biscuit and gravy sliders. The gravy had a generous amount of sausage and a slight sweet flavor. Sandwich included good thick bacon and over medium eggs. Bacon jam wasn't really "jam" but was tasty sweet bacon bits. Only complaint is that the biscuit was dry but it didn't matter much when covered in gravy and egg. Had a side of fruit (was a good mix not just cheap stuff). Overall quite enjoyed. Would recommend. read more

I was very pleased and satisfied eating here that I wanted to make sure I put in my review before I forget! While visiting the area I was hungry and chose this spot for brunch. EVERYTHING was great! I just had a wonderful meal at Brunch 101. After spending too much time choosing what I was going to have (because everything on the menu looked awesome) I finally settled on the Mexi-Cali Benny and my friend got the Red Chilaquiles. Both meals were delicious. They were big portions and everything on the plate was fresh and made to order. Brunch 101 will be on my regular rotation when I visit Palm Springs. I also had the opportunity to speak to one of the owners, Natasha. You can tell that her goal is to make all of her guests feel welcome and provide them with a wonderful experience. It's a perfectly cooked omelette with crispy bacon, avocado, cheese, salsa, sour cream... it's like a bacon burrito disguised as an omelette. I order it with hash browns (extra crispy) and toast. It's so satisfying. But, the best part of our meal is (drum roll please) JOE. He is so cordial and nice. He goes out of his way to give you 5 star service. He's the best and the smiling face of the restaurant. It's a local place. Nothing fancy. Just good home cooked food where locals go.

Golf course was closed but we were still able to see it. It's a big property. Lots to do. Do like they allow dogs since we had ours. They had multiple pools which we liked. We didn't use it but near one. Neither one looked too busy which was nice. Once we got settled into our room we went to go see Pinz and Pints since they had arcade games, including a duckpin bowling. My son was really excited about that. When we went they had a complimentary drink and candy bar. Drinks they offer are limited but still decent. We did get some food there as well. We got their nachos, Mac and cheese, and chicken tenders for my son. Both the nachos and Mac and cheese were really good. Love nachos and wanted to keep eating them. The next morning we went for breakfast at Pinzimini. They have a buffet option and also have a standard breakfast menu to choose items from. My husband got their brioche French toast and I selected to do their buffet. I know he liked the French toast. I liked the items offered in their buffet. They had a mix of mini pastries, cooked items, fruit. I primarily stuck with their pastries and fruit. Overall it was a nice location. Golf course is big. Hopefully we can go again and experience more of the items they offer.

Our rooms were supposed to be ready at 12:00 PM, but when we got there around 12:28 PM they still weren't available. We ended up waiting in the lobby for about 25 minutes just trying to speak to a manager because the front desk staff couldn't get the rooms unlocked. The employees at the front desk were polite and trying their best, so this is not directed at them, but the communication and management responsiveness really need improvement. After traveling all day, it was frustrating sitting in the lobby with no clear updates or help. Then after finally getting into the room, I went to take a shower and the shower hose had been pointed straight outward. The second I turned the water on, it sprayed directly into my face and all over the bathroom floor. When I turned the water back toward the shower, I noticed there was already a towel sitting inside the shower completely drenched, which honestly made the whole room feel like it hadn't been properly checked or prepared before guests arrived. The property itself is beautiful, but the overall experience definitely did not match the level of service I expect from a Marriott property.
