We just went there for Father's Day. It took such a long time to get a table and then to see the waitress. It wasn't even busy inside. Not good for kids. There's no fresh fruit. They put orange rind to the butter, my kid was so disappointed. She said it tasted bad. I got huevos rancheros for and it just cold tortillas with watery black beans and boiled tomato's with eggs. It was so bland, soggy and gross. Hands down the worst eggs dish I've ever had. Plus it was $17 after tax!!! Such a rip off. read more

I stopped for breakfast after searching Apple Maps for "breakfast near me"; because the listing made it sound like my kind of place: a small cafe, with fresh coffee and traditional breakfast meals usually found in little roadside diners. Unfortunately, after ordering a 3 egg breakfast (over medium), with hash-browns (crispy), bacon and sourdough "toast"... I was severely disappointed. The eggs were fine, but the hash-browns were undercooked, the bacon burnt so badly it crumbled when I picked up a piece & the sourdough"toast" was so white, I doubt it was even NEAR a toaster or grill. I took a couple bites and simply left... chalking it up as a loss that won't be repeated. Even the "fresh coffee" was a joke, since it was actually "self-serve" and retrieved from the type of "pumped" coffee urns typically found in gas station/marts. I only took the time to write a review because I was disappointed enough that I felt others were entitled to hear of my experience before making a decision of where to eat locally. I will not be returning (and Yelp actually just notified me that it took down my original review), under the premise that: "it didn't look like your content depicted an experience at this location"... Ordered eggs over easy with crisp bacon and hash brown potatoes. All were perfectly done... and really hit the spot. This restaurant is always clean and the service is attentive. They do need better signage. It's easy to drive by; they do have a private lot. Give them a try! read more

Sadly, we had a very disappointing meal at Petaluma Brunch Station. The service was great, quick and friendly, hence the two stars. The food was well below minimal expectations. The turkey sandwich was uninspiring sliced deli meat on thick toasted bread that was so crunchy and tough it was difficult to eat. Side salad swam in dressing. Omelet was ordered without cheese but had a hefty amount of melted cheese and sans the vegetables expected to be included. The omelette was over salted, significantly. Old and worn out. So sad to see our town going down the drain with such low standards. This was definitely the worst meal I have ever eaten. Huevos Rancheros was rubber scrambled eggs with literally a can of peeled tomatoes/juice poured over it, the uncooked beans were right out of the can w/hard shell. The pancake syrup was not real syrup and probably old, it was stringy like spider webs, never seen this before anywhere. The waitress was very nice, but she was the only person on the floor. She forgot the hot coco and by the time she came back my coffee was cold. I ate the eggs and left the rest and had it deducted from my bill, which was very high for such low quality food and shabby surroundings. Nothing was freshly made, it was all too obvious. I should have known when I sat down and looked at the condition of the place, it hasn't seen an update in probably twenty years and it shows. No non dairy creamer, that's a really bad sign. If you're going to open a business, you had better be willing to serve really, really good freshly made food or you will not last & I am certain this place will not survive if they don't correct course right now. read more

I must be in the twilight zone. We gave this place a chance. Food was mostly edible but, weird. I had an eggs Benny and the hollandaise sauce tasted overwhelmingly of horseradish. I guess someone thought that to be creative but, it missed the mark. It was just strange. My husband got steak and eggs. The quality of the steak was very poor. Most of it was inedible. However, it's not the food that earned them one star for us. It was the general cleanliness. We both stopped to the restroom on our way out. We both experienced the greasiest floor I have ever seen, and I am a pro chef for 35+ years! It was as if whoever mopped the bathrooms used a bucket of fryer grease to do so. I'm not exaggerating at all. The grease was thick enough to leave deep footprints and it was very, very slippery! We had to wash the bottoms of our shoes. When I washed mine, the soles were packed with the grease. Discussing. That's a lot of yuck! That's a lot of carelessness. I would not eat there again if you paid me. read more

Definitely would NOT recommend this place. Upon entering the front door I noticed a faint sewage smell to which didn't think much of. The restaurant was dead and maybe had two other people eating and it took the server about 15 minutes to even greet me and when she did she in broken English said to me "Um,NO we don't give out free to homeless." To which I replied with "miss I'm NOT homeless I'm skinny because I have leukemia " She then chuckled & said "ok" and brought my mother and I to the BACK corner of the resturant and walked away, didn't give us a menu or anything. She comes back about 20 minutes later with two cups of cold coffee and asks "Are you ready?" I informed her we haven't gotten a menu yet and she Huffed and puffed and said "HOLD ON!" She comes back with two menus covered in what appeared to be syrup because it was sticky, so we look at the menu and was Surprised by the prices,upwards of $16 for eggs bacon and toast. I ordered my eggs sunny side up and when it came the whites were barely set and still had a snot consistency so I sent it back and the second plate came out with the eggs over hard so I sent it back again and the third time they brought out scrambled, at this point I was irritated so I took it and when I took a bite I could INSTANTLY tell it wasn't real eggs, they were rubbery off color and had a faint suffer smell. My mother got a burger that was still moving and cold. Then when we were done and they brought me the bill I had been charged for THREE plates of eggs and bacon totalling at $68 total, I explained that I'm not going to pay for there mistake to which the server started yelling at me in Spanish calling me a "binché Bendejo" and "chinga to Madre." Then she picked up the phone and called 911 saying that a homeless was trying to dine and dash (I'm with my elderly disabled mother mind you) All the while a man who I think was the cook got behind my mother and I and in-between the door and wouldn't let us leave Even after I took $50 out of my wallet to pay. The cops showed up and the situation was explained to the server and she started cussing out the cop. We ultimately were able to leave but holy crap! This would've never happened at lumberjacks or what should be there Llyons . Quality of food is garbage Service is worse & it smells like human poop, might as well go to McDonald's for all that. read more

Loved the food! Went with my family, we got the club sandwich, red chilaquiles, ribeye steak, and california omelette. 10/10! I believe it is a family the runs it and they were super kind and helpful. I thought they were an insurance company since their sign gave it that feel until I actually read the sign while driving by and saw they added pictures of their breakfast menu. Our first time here. Lovely wife got the eggs. Benedict and I got the California Benedict. Both were outstanding with the homemade sauce, creamy and delicious. Great Petaluman Location super clean and great facility !! Great spot of eat and always has been no matter what restaurant seams to pop up there, and brunch station is no different. I guess the only bad mark and I want to take a star off is that it closes at 3pm. Man, this is a hard pill to swallow as that location has been a great place to enjoy dinners. I know some high and mighty toody fella name Dave M doesn't like this location, so I invite him to not come back ever. What a horrible experience. We were excited to have a new brunch spot but this was very disappointing. It's in the old Lumberjacks restaurant but it looks just like it did when it was Lumberjacks. Service was incredibly slow. Coffee was full of grounds. Butter had orange rinds in it which they thought was cute....IT's NOT. There are much better places to go for brunch. In this unassuming location there is a great menu with many wonderful options both hearty and light with vegetarian options too. Knowing that Half Day Cafe in Kentfield has great breakfasts I had been wanting to try this place. I was surprised that the inside was not changed at all since it was Lumberjacks and is seemed like a mediocre chain restaurant. Poor ambiance. The waitress was attentive and nice, but the food was not enjoyable. I don't think I have ever been served a breakfast that was so bad that I wouldn't eat it ever before. I asked about the cinnamon roll pancakes and was told that they were cinnamon rolls dredged in batter and then grilled. What I got were 3 cinnamon rolls with a fried film on the top. they were clearly not prepared like french toast and they tasted like stale, dry and not sweet rolls. It was bad and unlikely that the cinnamon rolls were homemade. I don't often write reviews but this was so bad that people should be warned not to order this. I feel duped by the 4.4 star rating it had on Google and cannot give this place a second chance. My son had the regular french toast breakfast. It was fine, he will eat anything, but even he said "we wont be coming back here, it wasn't very good." read more

In a time when restaurants are stuggling I decided to try this newly renamed place, much to my dismay. I ordered a meal that appeared to include sausage, on the menu, however, when my meal arrived I could not find the sausage. When I inquired with the server if the sausage was forgotten I was informed that the sausage was in the gravy. I requested to see the menu again. It was then that the server informed me that the menu was printed with an error and a comma was missing. This owner will deflect his own errors but give you free food, after 18 years in the restaurant industry. Of course, customers pay for those mistakes when the menu pricing gets changed to absorb them giving away free sausage or comping meals. He was not willing to see that he compounded his so-called honest error and put additional stress on servers, which is not needed in their job. He could have added a comma with a Sharpie marker before he put the menus in the plastic sleeves. I expect with leadership like this, in the back of the house, this place won't be around for long. This place could use a good oiling on the wood to brighten it up, as this owner didn't do any interior updates before they opened and the place had very few customers so there's plenty of time. I will not be returning as we have comparable places in town that don't add stress during a meal. read more
