OMG! The overall best BBQ I've ever had! This is based on our weekend getaway while in Palm Springs. The menu is extensive with so many options I wish I lived in the vicinity just so I can try everything I want off the menu. From their Meat plate section, we ordered the brisket and 1/2 rack of ribs priced at $38 it comes with two sides and cornbread. The ribs were fall off the bone clean! Perfectly juicy, fatty and really flavorful. The brisket was the same, both were slathered with bbq sauce. We opted for cornbread with potato salad and onion rings for the sides. It is rare that I love everything at a bbq joint. Everything we tried tasted great! Potato salad was just the way I like it. Onions rings were perfectly crisp. Corn bread drizzled with honey. It didn't have the crisp edges that I love but it was fluffy and tasty! Can't wait to go back, I'll be dreaming of the best bbq! We visited midday it was not super busy. Staff were friendly. Restaurant really clean. Every time from now on, when I order ribs, I'll be praying to the BBQ gods... be like Bubba's, please be like Bubba's! Enjoy!!! Simply the best! Series: 2 2025: 51

3.5 Stars Stopped in for lunch. Josephine was tending bar as well as waiting on the whole restaurant, and the service was good. Bubba's has amazing BBQ in a bar/restaurant environment with both indoor and patio dining available. Private parking lot and usually easy to find a spot. DRINK: Full bar with beers on tap and bottle, wine, cocktails, and lots of flavored margaritas. $2 off all drinks during Happy Hour, which is daily from 3pm - 6pm. FOOD: I'm dropping my review score slightly based on our recent lunch experience. We ordered off their "Summer Specials" menu, and while my beer battered Fish & Chips ($18) were prepared perfectly crispy on the outside and flakey/moist on the inside and was served with an interesting coleslaw (tangy and fruity) and a delicious tartar sauce. My wife ordered the Prosciutto Pizza ($16) which was very lite on the prosciutto and heavy on the arugula and balsamic drizzle. We did mention this to Josephine, and she reached out to the manager, who graciously reduced the cost of the pizza by 50%. My wife commented that next time she'll stick to the BBQ. Beside the issue with the pizza, Bubba's food is very good and I'm certain we'll be back for more. I do recommend you check them out when in the area.

We stopped by around 3 pm on our way into Palm Desert for the weekend. There was plenty of seating in the bar and main dining area, and we were seated right away. The waitress quickly took our order, and we started with cocktails (a beer and a blackberry margarita) and a happy hour appetizer of Mac & Cheese Egg Rolls / Jalapeño Sausage Wontons. The egg rolls had pulled pork and were really tasty; the wontons were a little spicy for me but hubby couldn't taste the spice. We also got a happy hour appetizer of Sausage and Wings with Spicy Bourbon Sauce. The wings had a lot of meat and the sausage had good flavor. For the main course we got the Fish & Chips (they have an option with two pieces, which was still too big) and Fiery Pork Belly Sandwich. My hubby enjoyed trying all sauces on the sandwich, the fish was light and flaky, and the fries were super crispy. We had leftovers to take back to the condo. We wanted to get a dessert to go but they were out of all the to go options, so we had to eat the churro donuts there. They were delicious. If you're a sports fan, they have 4 TVs playing different sporting events. Only downside is they serve Pepsi, so that just means more cocktails. We will definitely come back next time we're in town.

Rating closer to 3.5. Cute dive bar in PS. It was surprisingly quite empty on a Saturday evening, though they did have quite a few takeout orders. Our server was attentive, and everyone was pleasant. Food was a bit on the pricy side: the teriyaki wings were v good (I asked for them to be made extra crispy and they delivered!), the mac and cheese egg rolls were OK and so were the onion rings. Nothing to write home about, but would definitely come back and try some of the other items on the menu if I'm ever in town.

Look at those clean rib bones

Wow! After reading the reviews, I was excited for the ribs and to see if they really fell off the bone and wow, did it deliver. The meat fell right off the bone, not a piece left on it. The brisket amazing. The chicken amazing and also falls off the bone. So full from the meat that I couldn't eat the sides, but those were good too (corn was just ok, but who cares when the meat was so good). I would maybe ask for a little less bbq sauce smothered on top, but to each their own. I could only imagine this gives Texas a run for their money.

Delicious! I've booked marked this spot over the last few trips to town and finally got to stop in. The space is a small in size and big on flavor. With football on Thursday evening it was a hit with lots of people. I'm not an alcohol drinker and I'm loving how establishments have non alcoholic beers available because sometimes it just calls you to have a crisp cool non alcoholic beers with a burger. I got the western burger which was massive cooked to perfection and flavorful with the bbq sauce and two big ole onion rings. I got a side of garlic parm sidewinder fries to pair with it and it was amazing. I also couldn't leave without trying the beer chili and corn bread. The chili is hit the soul good on a cold day and the corn bread had great texture with the butter and honey blend on top to hit the taste bud. A great meal indeed.

We were in town for an annual bowling tournament and we decided to try out this place based on a recommendation from some fellow bowlers that dined here before. It's a small town medium size place that also offers an outside patio. We were immediately greeted by our server and offered to take our drink orders. Once she delivered our drinks, she took our food orders. I opted for the jalapeño & sausage wontons and the brisket tacos. Everything was seasoned well and prepared properly. Our server was friendly and professional and stayed on top of refilling our drinks, as needed. I wouldn't mind coming back the next time I am in town.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Palm Springs for the weekend & really wanted BBQ so we tried this place out, which is about 15 minutes from downtown. It was delicious! Everything was tender & well seasoned. We especially loved the BBQ chicken. Staff was friendly, place was clean, lots of seating & good amount of TV's to watch a game. We will definitely put this on our list to go everytime we're in the area.

Such a great little gem in Cathedral City! There wasn't a dish on the table that I wouldn't order again. It was a nice warm breezy night so we chose to sit outside and enjoy the weather and great food. This was my first time here but I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again. I'm not a seafood person, but I was the one who ordered the fish 'n chips. AMAZING! So tender with just the right amount of crunchy batter.... Such a generous portion of fries as well. The wait staff were all friendly and looked like they truely loved what they did.

Hot links, brisket, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and fries

The Bourbon sauce is simply AMAZING! One of the best sauces I've ever had anywhere. I loved the sweet and savory mix with a subtle whiskey flavor. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender and had a great smoky taste, but it was a little cold for my liking. The hot links were good too but I was hoping for a bit more heat. For the side, I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese. Apples in the coleslaw was a novel flavor for me but it worked really well and complemented the rest of the meal. Service was friendly and fast. Lots of TVs to watch the current sports.

BBQ brisket, 1/2 slab of pork ribs

I went with a large group on a week night so it wasn't crazy busy. The Happy hour menu has a lot of things to choose from. The BBQ was great! Especially the brisket!!And the staff was wonderful! Our waitress was somewhat new and she had a lot of us to wait on with separate checks and other people to wait on. She definitely looked flustered at times. But she did a great job. And the owner came by and asked how everything was and we asked how he got into the business. And he has led a colorful life. (Sorry no spoilers-you'll have to ask him yourself). The price was a good middle of the road. Personally I didn't care for one of my sides and when I asked the waitress for a box and 1 container for my leftovers. She came later to collect my plate and leaned down and said apparently I didn't like one of the sides would I like to switch it out for something else to go?! I thought that was nice and very observant on her part. That's what makes a great waitress!!! Definitely would go back!!!

Paul Bar is a fabulous experience, I've been here many times and the food as well as the service are always excellent! One of the many really interesting parts is there is a line to get in that starts well before the place opens up at 4 pm and it's like that most of the night HOWEVER the line moves quickly and once you get inside....OMG, you are transported into a really cool, dimly lit, swanky NY supper club with leather booths, tall bar tables plus there's seating at the bar (with many colorful locals that you'll probably end up making friends with) and the selection of food & drinks are so diverse, everything that my friends and I have ordered have been outstanding! Paul the owner who is very sweet is always there and oversees everything in his own quiet way to make sure everything is running smoothly and that his guests are happy, Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is the place to go for really great food, a fun time and an immersive experience and I promise you'll come back

The aproned and bow-tied bartenders and waitstaff are REALLY good at their assignments. The back bar is ornate and old. Set your expectations high for the quality and presentation of the food. if you're a party of two, the bar is THE best option (perhaps only) and your wait time to order will likely be shorter there. If you're eating at the bar, ask your neighbors what they recommend or what they ordered, and you won't go wrong. Paul Bar is a one-off, not to be missed dining experience in Palm Springs.

Located at The River, a little shopping and dining area in the desert. More dining than shopping as there's like 3 shops there. REI being the main shop and also the biggest. Also if you check out NextDoor, loads have mentioned that YH is great for happy hour. We stopped in right after 3 when HH started. It was still pretty mellow inside and the bar counter had a few people. We seated ourselves as we wanted the bar. It did take a little while until someone actually acknowledged us. After that it was fine. Sylvana took care of us which I believe she had before. Sweet and friendly and made sure that we were taken cared of. Within 15 minutes or so after we got seated, the place did picked up a lot. I'm thinking it was for HH as the bar area was full as well as the surrounding hi top tables. People know about their great deals. Drinks are well priced, cocktails and wine are also offered. Then you have the food, half off on appetizers. Majority of them available minus a few that aren't listed. We wanted something to munch on as we were having dinner later on. Shared the mushroom pizza which I highly recommend. Thin crust but very tasty with the sweet glaze. One of my favorite item for HH. Also the chicken lettuce wrap. Seemed like the lettuce has gotten less and less...lol... Still a decent amount of meat inside a fried wonton cup and served with two dipping sauce. Simple dish but quite delicious. Both item is a recommendation and alway delicious. Places you probably wouldn't have visit but the deals are too good to pass on. We've seen this place loads of time driving by and always wanted to try it out. It happen to be included in Restaurant Weeks so of course that was a given. There have parking out front so that's very helpful. I made a reservation for the patio at 7:15 thinking it'll be nice for the sunset but of course it was 103 still outside...lol... We were going to see if they could move us to indoor but when we checked in, the hostess was ahead of us. She knew it was going to be too hot for patio seating which was amazing of her. When you walk in, there's the hostess desk as well as a cute little lobby waiting area. Across from that is the wine cellar and around the corner was the bar lounge area. We didn't even know it was there until after dinner. It was massive. The restaurant is broken down into different rooms. We got seating in the main room where it's more of the MCM vibe with the high back booth seating. There's also a little private room to the side next to the restroom. The layout was quite beautiful and it was well decorated. There was also another room a step above us and and also the patio. The setting of the table was beautiful, elegantly dressed with an over side white table cloth. Only downfall, the booth was a bit too straight up. If you don't have good posture, you do now...lol... David was our waiter who was excellent and amazing. Very friendly and polite. Also so welcoming. As it was restaurant week, menus came out both with their daily as well as the deals. Classic menu does look quite nice but can't beat a good three course meal. That was offered for 49.00 three course, starters mains and dessert. Started off with a glass of wine before hand which a few was had throughout dinner. Service was excellent throughout the whole experience. One of the servers came over to place our napkins on our laps before. Also a warm roll with butter was brought out to start. Dinner, the options were great on the deals. We both started off with the Scottish salmon sashimi. Delicious thin slice served with seaweed salad, blood orange, scallions, Thai chili in a blood orange glaze. That was excellent and very tasty. Entrees, an order of the flank steak cooked nicely. Citrus marinated flank steak with shoestring fries, grilled baby broccolini and a creamy peppercorn sauce. This dish was flavorful and went well together. Steak was cooked well and the sauce was great. Also the beef stroganoff. Thin sliced seasoned sautéed beef served with mushrooms, onions, thyme, sweet cream and sour cream served over herbed butter noodles. I haven't had stroganoff in such a long time and this dish was very tasty and delicious. Sauce was great which sometimes I think it can be too salty but this place was great.
