The drinks and cheesecake here are so good! Definitely recommend coming during happy hour. The wings were not my favorite, it was only 5 wings per order and they seemed dry. Thought the food was good for the price and portions were a great size. Service was decent and friendly. My only complaint was that the whole place was really dirty. The staff was busy (it was Saturday night) but no one was bussing tables, so dirty dishes were everywhere. Our table was sticky, and the bathrooms were just horrible. Running toilet, with water all over the floor. I would come back if I was in the area again, and hopefully they get a step up on cleanliness! read more

My group and I came by here before hitting up our Airbnb for some bites and drinks. It's located inside a plaza and seems like a quaint spot, but inside is spacious and great for groups. There were 12 of us, but we were able to split amongst three high top tables with no problem. My table of 4 ordered the Mac & Cheese Eggrolls ($7.95), Loaded Sidewinder Fry Stack with Pulled Pork ($9.95), Onion Rings ($7.95), and Quesadilla with Brisket ($9.95) to share. We each also got a Watermelon Margarita ($6) that was refreshing and delicious! I really enjoyed how some of the food items has some unique touches and fusion. The quesadilla and eggrolls were the favorites in our table, which really filled us up too. I'd recommend the brisket as your choice of meat for whatever you choose. As a fan of onion rings, these were huge and crispy pieces too. They don't skimp at all here with hefty portions and a fully loaded tray of fries with mounds of pulled pork on top. Not bad for a BBQ restaurant. Ok, don't come for me but I ordered Salmon. New years resolutions and what not to eat a little better. It was fantastic! Really surprised at how juicy and well flavored the salmon was! Sauces were a little underwhelming - not a lot of variation. Not sure if the BBQ sauce is homemade but it tasted like Sweet Baby Ray's. I tasted my boyfriend's brisket sandwich and it had a lot of fat on it. Also, menu said brioche bun and it came on a pretzel type bun. Fries were pretty good though. Also, when we were leaving there was a special's board that wasn't mentioned to us. Would have been nice to know there were other chicken options available. So 3 stars is rounded out by the cleanliness. The table was greasy, the bottles hadn't been wiped down, the floors were filthy, the silverware was dirty and there were fingerprints all over the windows. Was here last night for my buddy's birthday. Food was delicious, cooked perfectly and the bbq sauce was really good. More on the sweet side where i usually prefer tangy / more vinegary bbq sauce but nevertheless it was good. The service was excellent and we got food and drink pretty quickly. The service was very nice and pleasant. The little artwork and decorations around the restaurant are cute and funny. We had the prickly pear margarita and the pomegranate margarita. Outstanding!! The staff here is super friendly and greeted us with a warm welcome and told us to sit anywhere we'd like. We chose a short table in the other room and we're giving menus moments after we got comfortable in our chairs. The menu: Such a good variety with all of your BBQ staples! We chose to start off with the Mac and cheese egg rolls and barbarian pretzel. Both of these came out hot and fresh and will a little kick too. The pretzel came with a delicious jalapeño cheese cheese and some mustard and was described accurately with its massive size. The egg rolls came with a similar to sweet chili sauce and was golden and crispy. Both of these were the perfect way to start of the food experience. For the main course we shared the brisket and 1/2 rack of ribs with a side of Mac and cheese (it's just that good!) and baked beans. While I'm glad we shared our meal it was also humorous trying to pick the ribs up. Each one we attempted to pick up would come out bare as all of the meat slid off. They were so tender and flavorful!! The brisket had that scrumptious Smokey flavor that you crave when you come to a place like this but oh my gosh it was SO GOOD. I almost forgot to mention the corn bread as well... All for of these muffins came out hot and covered in a drizzle of sweet honey. Half of the order included little bits of jalapeños on top as well. The hubs had a two meat combo with two sides - brisket and Louisiana hot link with a really tasty slaw that had green apple slices in it and no mayonnaise (yay!) and pinto beans with jalapeño. Lots of chile flavor and very little heat so clearly the peppers were disabused of their spicy little ribs. Very flavorful. I had a brisket sandwich. Nice brioche bun substantial enough to hold together for the sandwich. They serve a sweet BBQ sauce. If they had others we didn't look or ask but I don't recall a choice. I'd say this is Georgia sweet. Good list of beers and many kinds of girly man drinks with juices and fruit (fresh watermelon margarita, sugar rim, blueberry lemon drop). Can't evaluate. I drank water and my husband enjoyed a local blond beer. Tasty, rich and moist chocolate mousse cake to finish it off. Tried multiple items- 2 meats (brisket and chicken) with Mac/cheese and beans, pretzel, brisket quesadilla, wings, Caesar salad, loaded fry stack with pulled pork. Much of it tasted middle Americana, bbq items were not dry but no smoker flavor apart from the sauces. Pretzel was dry, not chewy or doughy on inside. Second time coming here (first time was take out), this time I came with my bestest bud. Some of the best food I've had at any restaurant. The Korean rib appetizers are amazing. Meat was super tender and sauce had perfect amount of spice. Then ordered the Mac daddy burger. Cheesy, creamy and the meat was something else. They use a pretzel bun that gives the burger a perfect amount of sweetness and doesn't overpower the burger. Of course I paired it with their very own blonde ale. Perfect dinner, perfect service. The Mac Daddy is an amazing burger that really shows how amazing their brisket and home made Mac and cheese is! You can't go wrong with the Bubba burger w/ chorizo. The chorizo adds a pop off flavor and the easy over egg on top adds that perfect texture and flavor to drive it on home! I must say though the Mac and cheese egg rolls are a must try! The Mac is so velvety and rich and the pulled pork adds a great smoky/savory flavor and the sweet spicy dip sauce knocks it all out of the park!
