Oh my gosh oh my gosh. This place is spectacular! I came when they first opened and man oh man. It was far past my expectations! I ordered a Chicken Parm Sub. It was perfect! It was really big so i took the other half home. The lighting in the restaurant is so vibrant and wonderful! The waiters and waitresses are as fast as they can possibly go, considering they can be extremely packed! The manager even checked in on us and i appreciate the care so so much! the atmosphere is similar to a buffalo wild wings. the service was good but it was kind of odd, when we first got sat there was no "hello, how are you?" it just went straight into upselling drinks and appetizers. i did appreciate that later on when i had asked my server to pick between two foods he did give an honest opinion instead of trying upsell the menu as well. We went for a birthday lunch for our son-in-law holy crap was that a mistake!!!! First we were seated in bar area my husband n I ordered drinks n cheese fries. The service was ok at first.......then they seated our waitress at 8-9 top table at same time all of our party of 4 had arrived. Well our service went downhill from there. Oh did I mention the table was on other side of bar area. So we never saw her again until the end of the meal. We saw other waitresses n waiters even a manager. This was the worst food n service that we have had in awhile. The black bean burger was so dry it crumbled apart. I would definitely not recommend. On one of our pizzas it came out wrong so they had to remake it..,, not our fault. She was told twice on the taking of the order. Had to send back a chicken breast sandwich. Which wasn't raw but definitely pink. While waiting on manager to come over I was eating "some" of the fries. Manager had NO personality and was somewhat rude. Then asked if I wanted more fries, huh what? Of course I do. They literally cut up my original sandwich and pretty much cooked it beyond edible. My family had finished their food by the time I got my plate back, so I boxed it took it home and had to just throw it away. Dont waste your money . went to this restaurant for the first time today. The atmosphere was pleasant and staff friendly. The bathrooms were adequate. FYI if you order the chicken tender platter note that it is extremely peppery. Therefore if you are sensitive to pepper do not order. They had a mix up with the table top kiosks so another patron paid my bill and they struggling to figure out what we owed. I had to inform them that the two meals we ordered did not add up to what the manager was telling us we owed. The pizza my child ate was tasty and he seemed to enjoy it very much. read more

My wife and I went to Bubba's 33 yesterday. We were greeted immediately and asked if this was our first time there. We replied it was our first time and we were seated at a booth right across the aisle from the register/host station. We sat and reviewed the menu and then waited and waited and waited. Other people who came in after us were already seated, waited on, and had initial orders taken. We continued to wait across the aisle from the host station where two greeters were talking with another waitress, all three were about 10 feet from us but totally ignored us. We got up and walked out. I don't know what their food is like but it does not matter. We will never go back. Let's be honest, it is a burger/pizza joint and it is not like there is a shortage of those places. What terrible service. Sitting 10 feet from three employees and being ignored. read more

Run Away! Do not walk. Run! Today, I took my adult daughter to Bubba's for lunch. She specifically wanted their Spinach/Artichoke Dip to start. We arrived to a busy restaurant and expected somewhat of a wait. Our expectations went down from there. We ordered our dip to start and a Burger for me and Chicken fingers and fries for my daughter. The wait began. After 20 minutes, our server informed us that the kitchen was backed up (spring break, ya know.) After a 35 minute wait, food, finally! No dip.. We swallowed our disappointment and began to eat our lunch. A cold extremley over cooked burger and cold fries for me. Cold and greasy chicken and fries for my daughter. To be fair, we were offered a free desert to make up for the lack of starter. We declined. We would still be waiting if we had accepted. When the server brought us the check, she literally begged us to come back. I'm sorry, No. We won't be returning. If I wanted an overcooked/cold burger, I could go to the golden arches. Find some other place to spend your dinning out budget. If I could have given negative stars, I would have. I don't usually write negative reviews. read more

Came in opening night on Monday. Sat at and ordered a burger and fries at the bar. Food was perfectly cooked and well presented. It was opening night so there was plenty of great service. I'm looking forward to having Bubba's 33 and hope it maintains its quality and good service, which seems to be lacking around this area. read more

I placed a takeout order for 9 people. I parked in one of the to go spots and followed the instructions on the sign in the parking spot. A young lady quickly came out to take our payment, and then return shortly with our order. When we got home, everyone was very happy because the food was delicious and each order was exactly as it should've been. not one mistake. Amazing job! The onion rings were my favorite! read more

My girlfriends and I came in for lunch before our movie at Chesapeake square. It was pretty busy, however, we were greeted and say promptly. Our server OG China was simply amazing!!!! She was very knowledgeable about the menu making drink recommendations and appetizers. We got the fries pickles, shrimp, and mozzarella sticks. She let us know at the beginning wait times were long due to the volume in the restaurant. Despite the warning our food still came pretty quick. I highly recommend this place. Cleanest restaurant that we've eaten in in a while. No sticky or dirty menus, seats, table, and walls pristine, tables bussed as soon as patrons leave. The half-pound cheeseburger was perfect and the fire fries were sooo good. That rub comes on wings they say. Gotta try that another time. Chicken tender salad was very good as well. Every possible NFL game was on. Gotta try this place during college football season. Service was friendly and attentive. Absolutely nothing to complain about. read more

Black Friday - service was horrible. We were seated in the last table next to the kitchen and restroom entrance. Out waitress walked past us at least 3 or 4 times and waited on the table next to us for almost 20 mins before greeting us like we were wasting her time. I could hear how she was much more polite and attentive to the table next to ours before she came it us. After another 20 mins, we were about to walk out when the food showed up. I asked about the fries that came with the fish sandwich and she told me that I could get onion rings. I said ok - she did not tell me it was an additional charge for that. When I realized it, I protested. She sent over a supervisor who informed me that I would have to return the onion rings if I did not want to pay the addition charge of $1.99 and she would replace them with the fries that were supposed to come with the sandwich. Since they would have to throw them out, most restaurants would apologize and tell me to keep the rings. I felt this was chintziest thing I ever saw. And the greasy fries that I got sucked. I will not be back. Poor service and sorry food. read more

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend. He was super excited to take me here so I was looking forward to it. Come to find out , I ordered the chipotle pasta and it tasted horrible. I politely asked to switch it for something else, and they told me i couldn't. Food was barely touched and it was within less than 10 min of coming out. I work in the service industry so hearing that was a shock and slap to the face. new or not , that's horrible customer. read more
