I'm giving them 4 stars because I'm taking the atmosphere into consideration. The place has TVs along the ceiling line all over the place hosting different spots and music videos. I enjoyed the music it was a mix of oldies to current songs. The food was just ok, the have sandwiches, burgers, apps, salads, pizza and dinners such as fish & chips and steak. Don't get me wrong it was not bad but it is a place that I would go to more for the environment then the food. We had their form of bang band shrimp which I felt was really good. I got an order of Garlic Parmesan wings and a side of onion rings. The wings were cooked well but there was not as much of a garlic Parmesan taste that I prefer. The coating on the onion rings was very good just a bit greasy for my taste , I do t believe this is them it is probably me as I do t eat greasy food as much anymore. My son got the bacon avocado burger and said it was 'good'. The staff was great and all very friendly. I would come here again for solid food and atmosphere. read more

BUBBAS 33 in Chesapeake..... My first time going was September 2020 for a birthday lunch. I ordered The shrimp and chicken pasta double shrimp no chicken and a Long Island ice tea. Let me tell you that pasta was so good and so flavorful. I think I was quiet the whole time and lord knows I can talk! The drink was not strong in NO TYPE OF WAY and I'm not a drinker really more of a sipper lol. I went back for a second time In October 2020 and got the shrimp po boy. Another flavorful menu item! The shrimp were nicely sized swimming in the sauce and packed in to that sub. This time it was a Sunday (October). On Sunday's they do brunch 11-1 or 2 so you can order breakfast or the regular menu items. The drinks range from $2-$10 I believe. Very inexpensive BUT like I said previously, THE DRINKS ARE NOT STRONG! I had 2 mimosas, two long islands and some mango drink and felt NOTHING AT ALL. Well I felt full from drinking lol that juice and eating my food lol. January 2021 was the next time I went (I lied I went another time but I forgot my experience )... I ordered the chicken and shrimp pasta no chicken double shrimp ands mimosa. As we were waiting for our drinks and food, we received some cinnamon twist and they were pretty good!! The food arrived and I looked at my food as if it was someone else's plate! That pasta had looked NOTHING like what I've previously ordered!!! I'm not sure if they had changed cooks or if the cook was having an off day or WHAT! But the consistency of the sauce wasn't as thick as it usually is, this time it was runny like the noodles was at the pool. There was no seasoning and it wasn't even the same color!!! I was VERY disappointed in that meal . But it's ok because I will try again and hope that they do not disappoint again!!! Long story short... Came in for lunch and was seated in the area next to the patio. The windows were open so when another patron decided to smoke next to the building it filtered inside. It triggered a coughing fit for myself and didn't set a good tone for our experience. The server was nice but the food was just okay, nothing spectacular or memorable. Food was great but service was horrible The hostess gave us a judgment for only getting our older child a kids menu and not our youngest(he's only 8 month he's barely eating solids) and didn't bother getting us a booster to seat, it took us asking another waitress to finally get a booster seat after 20 mins of being there, then our waitress was terrible took forever to get anything, she was weird around my spouse, and couldn't be found. Mind you the place wasn't packed at all so it wasn't like they were busy to be barely refilling drinks towards the very end of service. We walked in as a party of 5 adults and 2 kids. We were told "we're just clearing off a table and we'll seat you in a minute". 15 minutes later, still waiting while at least 20 people came in and were seated immediately. The place is funky when you walk in, it's super fun looking and has tv posted on just about every wall. The menu is extensive, there's plenty of options to choose from and they make everything fresh. This was my second time there and once again they did not disappoint my taste buds. My family enjoyed the food and the atmosphere as well. Tried Bubba's 33 for the first time today on Easter Sunday. We ordered traditional wings- the wings were extremely BIG, we didn't like them so we asked if we could order something else. the manager told us that the wings are a normal size and she can boxed them up and we can order something else and pay for that too. Never have we been to any restaurant were you cannot order another meal if you don't like your dish. mind you we both only ate 1 wing out of the basket so we were not trying to get a free meal. Now, the only drawback we had, along with the couple we dined with was...the music was a bit to loud for a lunch crowd. My husband and I visited Bubba's 33 tonight for dinner. There was a nice steady crowd, plenty of servers, bar attendants and staff so it appeared. We sat at the bar immediately after entering with no wait time. Received our beverages rather quickly. The food was ordered within the first 10 minutes. My husband ordered a house salad with funny dried onions on it, simple with ranch dressing. It was served in the blink of an eye. I ordered the California Chicken with Avocado, Rice and a side of Steamed Broccoli and my husband's main entree was Chicken Tenders with French Fries. After 42 minutes, when my husband's meal was served it was hot and fresh. I waited 10 more minutes and asked the bar maid if she could check on my food and she returned advising it will be a few more minutes. When it came out, it was barely warm and they forgot the Broccoli. I reminded the bar maid I had ordered Broccoli and the Broccoli was then served. By then my husband had finished eating and my food was beyond cold and underwhelming. When speaking with the manager, he shared he was less than concerned because the restaurant was crowded and basically there was nothing he could do. So if you're interested in good food on a night when their parking lot is filled keep on driving pass their restaurant because you might be unhappy with the wait time and you may not get good food. I had the best service tonight that I've had in a long time. Our server Dewayne really had his stuff together and stayed on top of our orders. Our waitress Jordan was AMAZING! Constantly coming back to fill refills without us asking, my boyfriends mom had eggs in her salad which she doesn't like and without question switched it out for her. The loaded fries were amazing and the onion fries looked super crispy. I enjoy their special sauce a lot. I got the hot and spicy chicken sandwich and switched out the bun got a regular burger bun and I thoroughly enjoyed it as well as the spicy fries!! so tonight we did a 55 minute call ahead for a reservation at six for a party of four. We showed up and my wife checked in and was told to wait in her car to wait for the text to come inside. We waited for 40 minutes my wife went to check to see what was going on to later find out that when we called, the hostess had never placed us on the list but remember she had physically checked in as well soon arrival. Once again, we waited her car for another 20 Minutes. Finally got seated and placed our order. We didn't get our food for another 40 minutes we were told when the waitress came by that the kitchen was backed, honestly the last thing you want to hear after the charade that was played to just get seated.
