I was given a gift certificate, typically I would not eat at a sport bar restaurant. I don't normally go to sports bars because the food is nothing but deep-fried processed food the TVs are too loud and music's always playing. And the cacophony of noise just makes having a conversation difficult. but since it was a gift certificate, I decided to try it. I had a burger because if the burger is good and the fries are good then the other food might be good. Burger and fries were awesome. Service was good and yes TVs were blaring music was too loud but everything was good so two weeks later I went back and I ordered a steak and it was also really good. I went with two other people and everyone's dish was really good so yes, this is definitely a place I would eat at again, however, it caught me off guard because it's not a typical sports bar because the food is actually good. read more

This place is decent. It gets busy and sometimes the food can take a while, it's understandable. But the bar really does take way too long some times. Pizza is not too bad, lacks effort. Steak is terrible, don't recommend that. Staff is friendly and helpful. Ambiance is loud when busy, but not too bad. read more

Reagan was our server and she was friendly and attentive the entire time she gave amazing customer service. Went with a party of five we snacked on the fried shrimp appetizer and kept cool with margaritas while we awaited our food which came out in good time and everything was nice and fresh. SALMONELLA WARNING!!!! I ordered 6 wings pretty simple. First bite into my first wing was red and chewy, so I put that down and tried the next.. same result. So I decided to check all the wings all had red and raw gooey insides.. so I called waitress to get them remade.. in which she did second round after my whole table was done eating I took a bite into my wing and it was WORSE! I called the manager over he had black nailpolish and was nice at first until I showed my complaint.. he told me all the wings are PRECOOKED (like it makes things better) and said he wouldnt risk putting another 6 wings downnto cook for me and that I was pretty much wrong in saying the wings were undercooked had PINK and bloody chicken meat.. he said sorry I was getting the bad batch he rolled his eyes took the wings off my ticket. The waitress looked at my wings saw the pink and blood. I told her you can clearly tell they aren't cooked. This place is giving 54th St. a run for their money. The major difference is that 54th has a bigger menu, but Bubba's has a pretty good menu too. Happy hour is from 4 to 6, but only the drinks are on special. It's not a very good happy hour, but you don't have the big crowd that you would have in the evenings. The shotgun shrimp appetizer was to die for. That is something that I would totally recommend you get. Your options for dinner are pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and some other random plates to include salads. The burger meat is made with 33% bacon. The fish sandwich came with fries. The tartar sauce was too sweet for my taste. They give you two pieces of Fish and a pickle spear plus slices of pickles. The sunrise burger taste like a breakfast in a bun. It was delicious. The shoestring fries were good but hard to eat because they're so thin. Using a fork helps. We tried the margarita and the long island iced tea both of the cocktails were good for the price. $4 Long island ice tea all day every day. The regular drinks are about a dollar off when you go for happy hour. They don't have a happy hour menu, that would be nice if they did. It would also be nice if they had food on their happy hour menu. We also had their beer on draft. Service was great. Our waitress, Frances, was always available, friendly and efficient. I was in the area looking for a late night pizza fix and I had bookmarked this place. On a Friday night at 11:30 there was available parking and I got served quickly. I called in my order before I arrived. Walked in and they brought my order, two 12-inch pizzas, to the hostess stand. The pizza is ok, a cross between Papa John's and Dominos, similar to Goomba's. I ordered a pepperoni and veggie. It was kind of expensive, $25 for two 12-inch pizzas and to be honest I would have preferred Little Ceasars or Gattis. First time here. The wait was an hour but that's ok. They had call ahead seating. That was awesome. Since it was me and my husbands first time, we got three appetizers to try them. All at a very reasonable price. We were blown away at the queso and garlic knots. They were huge!! Everything was fresh and great! This is a great place for game night with all their many tv's or with a family for their pizza. I defiantly wouldn't mind ever coming back. The waitress was so great. I was immediately drawn to there appetizer of Sweet Glazed Bacon. Thick cut bacon glazed with cherry cola. Perfect combo of sweet and salty. My boyfriend and I decided we would go back just for this appetizer and drinks alone! Yes... that is how good it is!! When I have always thought of this place, I knew a burger was a must-try! However, this particular day we went.. I just wasn't feeling a burger. I went with the aloha chicken dish. Overall is was good. I thought it could have used more glaze. My first time at Bubba's was a great experience. We visited on a Sunday afternoon during peak basketball finals season. Surprisingly, there was no wait for a table in the bar area. The menu is pretty extensive. I ordered a burger and my boyfriend ordered Salmon. I will say that the salmon fillet was a lot smaller than I'd expected. For an appetizer, we ordered candied bacon. I never imagined that I'd like bacon enough to eat it as an appetizer but it was so good! It was thick cut and just crispy enough. It was a good mix of sweet and savory. I also enjoyed an ice cold beer with chamoy and chile with my beer. The best part about bubba's are all the TV's around the bar and normal seating area. Went there because a burger sounded great for a Monday dinner. Mistake. Burger came out and it looked like a sausage patty from McDonald's. Tiny, different shapes, and was drier than my boot straps. Burger had no flavor and was pretty abysmal. Service was ok. Bubba's 33, we meet again. No stranger to the chain Bubba's, my fiancé and I were craving their famous Bubba's Pizza so we made our way to our nearest one off IH 410 and Military Drive. We arrived around 7pm on a Saturday evening and the place was busy (must be college football). Our wait was accurate at around 30-45 minutes, in about 35 minutes waiting our table was ready. We were seated and the rest goes as follows... SERVICE: Our waitress was very attentive however we were brought a frozen margarita 3 times even after telling them we actually ordered it on the rocks. The issue was resolved all within 5 minutes so no biggie. Food and drinks came out fast. FOOD: The food was amazing, the margarita was a great kind of strong (could really taste the tequila)! The pizza was cheesy perfect layers of cheese, pepperoni and tomato sauce all on a crispy crust! The chicken strips and fries were perfectly crispy and fries nicely seasoned! We had the medium well bacon burger grind patty and it was to die for. My kiddos had a pepperoni pizza and I must say it tastes close to a pizzeria style pizza. The staff was friendly and prompt.
