They provided more movers for the hourly cost than the other two companies and were available. Darlene was kind and amazing, and thorough in asking questions about furniture, packing, pets, and exercise equipment. Things I didn't even consider! Day of the move (Saturday after Thanksgiving) Ryan, Santos, Mario and Amir showed up on time, carefully wrapped all of our furniture with either blankets or plastic wrap. The asked questions about where things should go, and questions about how to assemble or disassemble things. This is our third move, and we are not as young as we were with our last move. We had to make two trips, but it was still within budget. Next move, I'll call them again, and pay for packing (which we thought we could do on our own in our 50s!) Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. My wife and I have said several times that we don't know how we would've done it without Mission Movers. I know exactly who I'm hiring for any of my future moves. 10/10 experience! I just chalked it up to old man stuff; who gets excited by storage? Well fast forward to today and now I'm an older man and let me tell you, service matters. Art was the first person to help me; he was so polite, helpful, and best of all, NOT PUSHY! He showed me all three units they had, and at the end I mentioned I was going to check out public storage, a competitor down the street. Art smiled and said I should def check them out, because it would mean I would be coming back to him. Boy was he right; I went, checked it out, and came running back the next day asking if Art still had space left for me Nate helped me with my paperwork, payment; etc etc, and like Art; wasn't pushy and ultra polite. My move in date was a week away, so he recommended we put a hold on the spot I wanted, and when I was ready, to call him up A week later, I called up the shop and they were able to not only rent me to unit; BUT offer a moving truck to help me move, free of charge! David drove the truck to my place, got the ramp down for us and when we were done, drove the truck back for us to offload.
