Food is fine. Let's face it, this isn't fine dining and it's exactly what I expected. We got the bottomless apps. The portions are actually pretty big. We got chips and queso, onions rings, mozzarella sticks, and fried pickles. All the appetizers were decent. I like fried pickles and this place did it pretty well. We also ordered chicken wings (not included in the bottomless apps). I should've stuck to the dry rub for the lemon pepper as the one I got was too wet for my taste. I did get an alcoholic drink and it was pretty good. Service was great and friendly. She always checked up on us and asked if we needed to order more apps.

We came here because it was the only place we could see the Kansas City Chiefs game, but were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful atmosphere and the delicious food. Big menu of food and drinks. Nice waitress named Gabby got us all the little things we needed to make our meal perfect. They had chicken tacos ans they had steak, but no steak tacos. So I aaked her if she could ask Chef to make me steak tacos and if they also had any pineapple juice. Since their is a full bar here, they did. I love Hawaiin tacos which means salsa plus pineapple. Chef delivered!!! I was so happy. Three delicious beef tacos with fresh salsa and cilantro and a small cup of pineapple juice. Flavor was so good. Watch KC kick the LV Raiders and my mom and friend enjoyed their chicken salad and wings and burger. We will definitely be back.

Did a takeout order, I should have just ordered from Burbank location. This Glendale location is one of the worst. All I got were nachos and a side of carrots. The "ultimate" nachos were just a sad pile of tortilla chips with a skimpy drizzle of sour cream. I had a feeling they would skimp on the toppings so I even bought a side of queso and chili and yup they forgot to include those too even though I was charged for them. Even the carrots were so soggy and smelled rancid. The quality control is absolutely non existent. I don't know how a food establishment can even operate like this. Total waste of money.

8 years ago I left a review that was very and because my experience was terrible at the time. Not sure if the review will chain this new one I'm leaving but 8 years later and I'm back here again watching the Rams vs The Seahawks duke it out for the NFC championship. Spoiler, rams lost....sigh. Anyways I'm making this review again because everything I listed in the previous review has been reversed! Not only was there better service, better workers, better ambiance which I can is what else would you expect from a sports bar like bdubs it was great because this time around it all of it! The prices are jacked up and made my wallet cry for what I was paying for but the food was still decent! I got the 12 wing combo with 6 boneless Parmesan garlic and 6 traditional lemon pepper and for dessert I got their new triple chocolate chip cookie skillet! As I said the wings were great nothing changed except the prices! I'm always gonna be a fan of Parmesan garlic and lemon pepper always my go to! The triple chocolate chip was actually pretty decent! It was they're like version of a pazookie from bjs although I have to say bjs wins that round but not bad for Bdubs first time doing this! Overall the food was good, the people were great and the staff was much better 8 years later! I'm happy you guys got rid of your old staff and got new people because they were just terrible! Good on you guys! 5 stars for me!

The people here were nice and had a corky humour to them. Our table got two sausage platters, frickles, lemon pepper wings, and a pretzel. There is usually an expectation for American bar food before you enter the establishment, and they all lived up to the hype. The textures were amazing, fried food was crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside. Sausages had a bite to them and tender in the middle. Flavour profiles here were smoky, punchy, sweet, and vinegary. The lettuce mix under the sausages was a nice touch too. This fed four perfectly. Great variety of beer too! Loved the additions of a rice lager and a sour. A great spot for hanging out with friends, snacking, and snacking... and snacking till you realise that was dinner!

What a friendly local bar and a great place to catch sports. I watched one of the World Cup…read moresemi-final games here and it was the perfect destination. Hungary didn't make it to the World Cup this year so that was a bit of a bummer, considering my fam is from the old country. However, my second all-time fave, France, was still in the semi-finals. You see, I grew up watching Zinedine Zidane and to me, the World Cup brings back childhood memories and family bonding time. The menu items took me back in time. Much to my surprise, I noticed that there was a Hungarian kielbasa & a Debreziner sausage listed on their $10 lunch deal. I was shocked that I had the opportunity to debate over which one to pick. DEBREZINER sausage (in German) or for us Hungarians, is better known as "Debreceni Virsli" and made in the region where my dad's side of the fam grew up. It's often served cut up on the sides and has a richer color. For me, it's a bit juicier and there's more paprika in there. It's more along the lines of chorizo, if that's what your flavorbuds prefer. It's made with sweet and hot paprika, garlic, pepper, and marjoram. If my dad had been with me that day, he'd opt for the Debreziner. After deliberating for a bit, I decided to go with the HUNGARIAN KIELBASA and decked it out with grilled onions, sauerkraut, and jalapeños (very hot, stated the menu). The jalapeños rivaled the outside 100+ degree temperature. Thankfully, the cool AC made me forget it was one sweltering summer's day. Also, the Hibiscus Cider was crisp and made my experience and the lackluster game worth my time out. I loved how easy the ordering went-just tap the menu on the iPad and voila, you got the whole spiel. Service was quick and felt welcoming like I was at home in someone's living room with tons of TVs all around. Sadly, France didn't show up to play in the game until the last 5 mins or so. Spain obvi deserved the win and yes, this year's cup for their fancy footwork. The vibe was great and the crowd around me were locals on a first name basis with the staff. With awesome cider and food as tasty as I had growing up at home, I think I'll make it a goal to be on a first name basis around here during the NHL & NFL season.

At that point, I noticed a White patron that came in after me received a Guinness. My Black friend went and asked the server (who was a White woman) if she forgot mine. 10 minutes later, the server set down a beer that was 70% foam without a look or a word. Meanwhile, I watched this server seemingly ignore Black patrons while approaching other patrons and asking if they needed anything, including my Cuban friend. My Cuban friend got so irritated, she went and told the woman that it seemed like people of a certain skin complexion were getting better service. The server denied it. The server still did not care. She then took 10 minutes to bring my Black friend water and never made eye contact nor spoke to my Black friend or me. Later, another patron approached me to comment on my funny shirt. I asked her how her experience with the customer service was, and she said the waitress acted strangely towards her (Black) friend until she said something to her about it. As a queer woman, I would love to support a queer-woman-owned sports bar, but apparently I'm not too welcome there. Nachos were good. Thursday, my wife's sister and her family joined us at the reception hall in Los Angeles to help and after we were done, we drove back to our hotel for them to check in, freshen up, and get ready for dinner after a long day of working. We weren't sure where we were going to eat, so I asked my son and his girlfriend to find a place closeby. They recommended We're Pouring, which met the close proximity criteria, so all nine of our drove over. We're Pouring served delectable food and we received friendly customer service, but eating outside was a little uncomfortable with the recent heat wave and it took a littl while for the food to come out. We're Pouring is located in Glendale, which is 20 minutes away from Los Angeles. It's specifically located on Glenoaks Blvd. and Jackson. There's a Chevron gas station down the road and the restaurant is across from Anoush Dance Studio. They have their own private parking lot, but for a Thursday, the small parking lot was packed with cars, so we parked on an adjacent neighborhood street and had a short walk to the restaurant. The NFL football season had started with the first Thursday night football game, which probably explains why parking was not available and why the restaurant was packed. Initially, we tried getting inside seating, but decided on their outside covered seating area because my grandniece was sleeping. The outside seating consists of a big canopy, wooden picnic tables, string lights, and there were big screen televisions for us to watch the football game. Inside the restaurant, the air conditioning was working really well, it was packed with diners, and it was loud from people watching the football game. The restaurant is not very large and dining inside would have been preferred because it was still pretty warm outside despite us eating out in the evening hours. We received friendly customer service from our waiter and the team who assisted him and checked on us at a good pace. After our food was ordered, it did take a little while for it to come out. I'd categorize We're Pouring as a local sports bar with televisions inside and outside for patrons to catch their favorite sport. When I asked my son to look for a restaurant closeby, I asked him to find one that serves a variety of food. On their menu, there were the following: shareable appetizers, burgers/sandwiches, tacos, salads, soup, pizza, and desserts. It might have been because of the stress of planning, preparing, and making sure all of the details of the wedding are taken care of, but I wasn't hungry for a big meal. I decided to share with my wife an order of Pastrami Fries and Fried Pickles. Both appetizers were a good amount of food and definitely shareable. The pastrami fries come with golden brown fries, topped with chopped pastrami, mozzarella, dill pickles, and thousand island. The pastrami was tender, plentiful, tasty, and combined with the fries and the other components, it really was satisfying. The fried pickles were fried just right, it had a crunchy coating, and when dipped with the spicy remoulade (not too spicy), I just kept eating them. My nephew ordered their Bella Bites, which are garlic pizza bites with tomatoes, basil, and are served with pizza sauce. It was basically chopped up pizza and that was addictingly delish. The start of our daughter's wedding festivities began Thursday with our family driving up to help us set up the reception hall. The festive time continued that evening as we broke bread together at We're Pouring, which serves really yummy food.

Why such a long hiatus? The tap list over the last months just hasn't had anything I've wanted to drink. It's been a lot of repeats of things I've had over and over or beers that just aren't appealing -- or, in many cases, both. The Glendale Tap used to have a fairly good turnover of new brews, but lately, it seems to be in a rut. Imports are pretty much never to be seen -- like everywhere else, sadly. Even out-of-state beers are rare. And on my most recent visit, at least half of the tap list was tapped out. IPAs and sours take up so much of the list -- stouts in the cooler months -- while styles like bitters, milds, (non-India) pale ales, brown ales, bocks, amber lagers, smoked beers, etc., get little to no space on the tap list. I still love the atmosphere of the Glendale Tap, and the bartenders there are the best. Prices are fair, and there's always something at least decent to drink. But I miss those fulsome tap lists with a variety of beer styles from far and wide. More and more, the Glendale Tap is becoming too much like every other beer bar. I know L.A. beer drinkers are extremely parochial with very limited tastes (basically IPA, IPA, IPA, and IPA, with some super sours thrown in), but I would hope the Glendale Tap could return to just a smidgen of its former excellence. Until then, I probably will be visiting biannually instead of bimonthly.
