I had the cheese curds and celery and my blood sugar went down, so that was great! Wait staff was really good even though it was packed. Everything was clean and a great environment!

Apparently this is all you get if you order cheese curds to go.

Louie's Cantina has become one of my favorite weekly traditions…read more Once upon a time, my boyfriend and I only had one car, so I had an hour and a half to kill before it was time to pick him up. That's how I found Louie's Cantina, and I'm so glad I did. We have two cars now, but I still make the Thursday drive every single week to celebrate the end of my work week since I'm off Friday and Saturday. There is just something about ending the week with a cold beer and a Mexican Candy shot with bartender Vinnie that makes life a little better. I can't say enough good things about this place. Louie, the owner, comes in from time to time, and you always know when he arrives because you hear his voice as he walks in. He says hello to everyone, is genuinely friendly, and clearly takes a lot of pride in his bar. And the Mexican Candy shots? So good. They come in all kinds of delicious flavors, and I still can't decide whether I like cucumber or mango better. I especially love that mine comes in a little snifter glass so I can sip it along with my beer. Speaking of beer, it is always cold, which matters! Vinnie is one of those bartenders who can talk about just about anything, from food to music, and he is just an all-around great person. The music is good, and they also have an AMI digital jukebox, so you can play songs right from the app, which makes it even more fun. Louie's Cantina is friendly, welcoming, and just a great place to unwind. What started as a way to kill time turned into one of my favorite spots of the week.

Bellied right up to the bar, got drinks and menus immediately, waited less than 5 minutes to order food, and food was out in less than 10 minutes after that. My husband ordered a patty melt and fries (amazing and the patty was cooked to a perfect rare) and I had a "girl lunch" salad with some of his fries. Michelle was absolutely wonderful and it was lovely talking to her and another patron (may have been the owner!) at the bar about Bisbee and Tombstone. We hope to be back for lunch on our return home - 10/10, would recommend!

The interior…read morehas a regal feel, with red velvet booths and chairs and dim lighting that adds a touch of elegance. The bar is definitely the center of the action. Our bartender was extremely busy, but she still managed to check on us regularly (kudos to her for that). For drinks, we ordered a house Cabernet Sauvignon and a draft beer, both were great. For snacks, we tried the chicken wings: half honey sauce (our favorite, crispy and delicious) and half bourbon. The bourbon wings had great flavor, though we felt they were slightly undercooked. Prices are very reasonable. The bathrooms were clean, but they were missing paper towels. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu

Those were insanely dry and basically inedible…read more I ordered the chicken tenders with Texas toast, as well as a mocktail (I forgot which one it was). The chicken tenders were very good. The Texas toast was nothing special--just buttered toast cooked on a grill. The mocktail was filled with ice, so I finished it in about two sips. There were only about 3-4 workers, so we didn't get much attention. I even think the manager had to step in, so they were clearly severely understaffed. The waitress serving our table kept forgetting orders. When we asked for the check, she said she'd bring it over. About ten minutes later, she came back and asked if we had received it, which we hadn't. She then brought it about two minutes later. Overall, the food was decent but nothing extraordinary. The funnel fries were okay, but I think they really need caramel sauce to take them up a notch. The only dipping sauces available were raspberry and chocolate, which I didn't think were the best choices. The atmosphere was fine, I guess. I didn't really feel anything special when entering the restaurant. On top of that, we waited about 10 minutes before anyone greeted us or showed us to our table because there wasn't a waitress available. One bonus point is that they turned on the soccer game on the TV next to one of my family members because they wanted to watch it, which I appreciated.

I chose this one on Golf Links to visit. First, I arrived about 1 pm on a Saturday. The place was fairly busy. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. My server, Pat S came over quickly and took my drink order. She returned quickly with my drinks and I gave her my order with specific instructions. Pastrami sandwich, no mustard, provolone instead of Swiss, a side of mayo, fries and a side salad with no onions and Thousand Island dressing. Boom! Salad out first, perfect! SCORE!!! The pastrami sandwich had a decent amount of meat on it (not as much as years ago, but that's the way things are now). Pat checked on me a few times, refilled drinks when needed. I have zero complaints and don't understand the low reviews. Being a sports bar, it wasn't overly noisy. TVs everywhere. Tables and dining area very clean. Restrooms were also clean and all products available. I will return when I am in the area again. Thanks, Famous Sam's. You did not disappoint.
